Didn't expect to be laughing out loud from your comments, excellent video and love the light. Been watching for years now and love the inventiveness and skill all blended with a sense of humor
true! great combination
So glad you didn't trash this. I love the shape, the raw edge and the color of the wood. An inspired idea to turn it into a lamp. And I love your dry sense of humor. More please.
The accidental panning is so good… wow

👍👍
I thoroughly enjoyed that video. Your charm, personality, charisma and expertise is only exceeded by your humour. Oh, and the vase/lamp ‘turned’ out OK too 😂🌞
With so many "shots" I almost got drunk! Great job. Love the lamp.
Watching this with breakfast & coffee and it's made a great start to my day. thanks :)
A woodturning video with humor! Excellent.!
Beautiful! I think it makes an even more stunning lamp than it would have a vase.
Yes sir
You gave it your best shot.
Merci beaucoup.
Vous avez un talent unique. Merci pour vos vidéos.
You have such wit. Your videos are a gift, on so many levels. Thank you so much.
I think the resulting lamp is just great, and probably better than a vase would have been, so, well done daring to change direction with your creation!
For an accident, this turned out awesome!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️
👍👍✅
That was a really bright idea. Great way to turn a disaster into a master work!
Perfect❣️ Also, loving the captions. “Left nipple pov shot” had me 😂.
Oh man, I love it!!! So glad you didn't smash it with a hammer! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Excellent decision when faced with a design change opportunity! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Love the live edge. Nice change up and the grain/work was worth it. Beautiful job.
You could make anything and it would be stunning Olivier X
I love your work, and your sense of humor!
I appreciate that you left some of the bark. It adds so much to the overall effect.
Vase...light...either way nice work and a beautiful end product!
Great save and a beautiful piece! Thank you!
It made a cool lamp. You had me laughing out loud with the captions. Not only are you incredibly talented on the lathe but you have a great sense of humor too.
I think it turned out exceptionally well. ❤
So, contemporary and beautiful thank you.
Such a variety of shots. Nice
Such creativity turning what was headed to the burn pile into a work of art. Well done! Love the various funny comments added as well.
Great work as usual. Ingenious idea to turn it into a lamp.
Love that you were able to change course and end up with something so beautiful! So glad you didn’t use the hammer!
It still turned out beautiful Olivier.
Talk about making lemonade out of lemons ... that was a brilliant change of plans. Keep up the good work and I look forward to more of your videos - would like to hear some voice-over sometime
6:20 Looks like some sort of sand creature from Dune coming up out of the desert. 😁 I like!
Another gorgeous piece.
What a great outcome. Very impressive. Thanks for sharing.
great to have you back. hope the new shop is treating you well!
Pretty awesome. Great work, worth the change in plan!
The result is perfect, it was a good mistake. I love your job in your videos.
That's a fantastic lamp!! I love it! 💘
You are too awesome! New subscriber here. I just came from your worm-hole table video. I love how real you are, expressing yourself, and your creativity, even when things don't go the way you thought they would!
Both video and lighting are a masterpiece 🤯👍😃
Excellent recovery choice !!!
sublime comme toujours
great shots!
Amazing job. Great lamp.
Beautiful result!!👍
Bravo 👍👏
Man, what a channel. You've got All the shots! And some nice woodwork to boot. Well done Sir.
How beautiful. You are a master!
Nice job. I think we can all say this wasn’t where I planned on going. That’s Woodturning
Again, an exquisite piece of art.
That is absolutely gorgeous! Keep up the good work.
Enjoyed the video, liked your project, loved your humor.

That turned out great!
Beautiful light well!
Just beautiful
Great save!
What a bright idea.
Very nice light. A vase would have been awesome as well. But I like the light idea
Beautiful Craftsmanship
Great job mate.
It’s beautiful, I love it! 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄💚🙃
That turned out really great. I’m glad you were able to overcome your anger issues and rescue the project. I would have hated for all of those fancy filming shots to have gone to waste.

Your anger management therapy is paying off. Good thing you didn't smash it, cause it turned out super well as a lamp. I also really enjoyed the comments on your shots 😂. Beau travail Olivier.
