Awesome video, great quality. I have the Razer Huntsman TE that I got for $90 and I personally prefer that over these simply cause it comes stock with PBT key caps so no oily looking keycaps.

Nice, can't wait to watch. I tried out the HyperX reds at Best Buy, but I preferred the Linear optical Switches from Razer.
Nice! I really enjoyed the using the Aqua switches in this board, I was surprised how smooth they were for being a Tactile switch.
@@CalebThornton Yeah. It is pretty cool how smooth clicky switches have gotten(Razer Purple and Hyper X Aqua),

@@CalebThornton do you think that the name of the switches (aqua and blue) should change. I found the naming confusing cause I confused the both. Aqua is tactile and their blu is clicky.
Can you have certain keys be solid colors and the rest doing the RGB thing?

@@CalebThornton yeah and something else, when you’re changing the lighting of a keyboard or mouse, try to add a clip of the colors changing, in example: changing a color from RGB to white or blue and then flipping a clip of the colors changing. Just an idea.

Did they fix the software so you can close it and it saves the lighting, or does it need to stay open the whole time?

Yeah, kind of messes things up for custom cables. I still don't even have a custom cable yet I am behind the times. Design looks really nice though like you said.

What is your favorite switch type in a keyboard?
I like Linear or linear and tactile switches. I can't stand the sound of clicky switches.
I'm in same boat haha. I got a hot swappable case, so I'm going to start trying out a bunch of different switches so I can find which brand and type I like best, cause there are so many switch options.
@@CalebThornton DId you hear about the Novel Keys Random Frank P keyboard. It basically a regular Novel Keys PCB with Box Jades or Silk Yellow Switches and custom keycaps for like $190. Usually, that stuff costs like 200 for the PCB itself.
I saw they were doing something for RFP, I have not checked it out though yet. I will have to take a look.
I've only had membrane keyboards before, but my new keyboard will be the hyperx's aqua switch.

I have stopped doing them cause it hurts my average view duration a lot. Because if someone clicks on video then instantly skips way ahead KZhead views that as they are not enjoying it and wont recommend it very much or at all. I like using the chapters though.
