The 2023 US Open main draw runs from August 28 - September 10 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Poland's Iga Swiatek claimed the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first US Open title, with Alcaraz winning his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek winning her third Grand Slam title. This year, at the US Open, we’re set for another historic tournament as the world’s best tennis players head to New York. Look out for highlights, extended highlights, full matches, press conferences, on-court interviews, hot shots, compilations and more!

  • Felix took a free fall in his career this year. Didn't improve at all, and also dropped his level quite a lot. Interesting to see where he is heading. Hope he can pick up himself soon, otherwise tennis world forgets anyone who didn't achieve much very soon.

    • Was thinking this, from pushing Rafa to 5 sets at RG in 2022 to getting smacked by lesser players all 2023

  • I'm not a tennis afficianado (or spelling, obviously!), but MacDonald's play to me just looks above all "punishing." He has lots and lots of amazing shots and finesse, but watching play after play, it seems like a war of attrition on the opponent who just gets worn down by sheer cannon fire to opposite corners of the court. It's amazing play, and a wonder to watch; I'm not saying anything negative. Just that it looks like the strongest asset is sheer power and energy, combined with phenomenal skill. So if the skills will be comparable between opponents, MacDonald will wear the opponent down by sheer relentless power. I'd never want to be on the other end of that, I'd have PTSD from the 3 hour brutality capped by the emotional effect of the loss.
