SPOILER ALERT! Watch as Robert Pattinson's Batman has an intense conversation with a villain at Arkham in this deleted scene from The Batman movie.
#IGN #TheBatman
Isn't it great that in just *one* movie we have seen Riddler, Joker, Penguin, Catwoman and Falcone and it not being forced, at all? They just exist in this universe, in Gotham, without being the main villain whatsoever. This is how Gotham is supposed to feel. The rogues are *always* present, albeit in the background. In the comics, you would see villains pop up all the time, sometimes even in a single panel without dialogue.
Well we didn’t see joker
@@wyattbrining4875 we did in the movie

🃏 Ça m'a fait penser à the dark knight " Tu refuses de me tuer par sentiments de noblesse des plus imaginaires quant à moi je refuse de tuer car tu es trop amusant "
The craziest part of this is Joker was right about everything. Right down to Batman believing they deserved it, which is what he implied about the commissioner and his death. Love that they made him intelligent. The other side of the coin, when compared to Batman kind of thing

@@Gadget-Walkmen agreed, on all points
@@Gadget-Walkmen Can you really say he was phenominal as Bruce Wayne? Even in the scenes out of costume Pattinson was playing Batman. Bruce Wayne wasn't in the movie at all. At this point Bruce Wayne is still dead and buried with Thomas and Martha. The sequel is likely where we'll see Bruce Wayne reborn.
@@Drums_of_Liberation Yes, he WAS Phenomenal as Bruce Wayne when you understand the whole POINT of the movie and what it's striving for OF Bruce Wayne's characterizations CENTER off. It's COMPLETELY perfect because Batman IS Bruce's trauma, and this movie had to showcase that he's so obsessed with being batman that he forget how to be himself and a proper human being. He LEARNS how to be better Bruce Wayne AND Batman at the end of this movie, as this was the whole point OF. It's no different from Batman: Year One or Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Batman IS the Trauma that makes Batman, BATMAN. Batman's story will ALWAYS be a tragedy at heart as he can never be fully happy to be Batman. But the point of this movie is showcase how Bruce can LEARN how to grow from that with his interactions with Selina so he can be a human again and learn HOW to be a better Batman for the people of Gotham by not being so full of rage but by being an inspiration of hope and love!

I’d love if they kept joker a side character like this throughout the trilogy and we only see him in moments like this where he’s just off to the side or does little cameos being locked up , or even have him be mostly in the Arkham spin-off show their doing for this universe. But by the end of the main trilogy have him escape or something showing he’ll become the official crime lord we all know & love.

Jared Leto is a great actor, it's the material that was bad.
@@medric38 nah he's acting was actually bad, don't lie
@@comicreaper7139 Nah hes a great actor. Just got a shitty script
@@aliakram6675 to be joker you need to be a world class best of the best actor willing to put all your time and effort into the character, jared Leto basically pretended to be a bad man
Love the Manhunter vibes. He is perfectly capable of playing this take on Joker. The director was correct to have taken it out but I’m grateful we can see it as a clip.
why was he correct
@@AV-xm5ln unnecessary for the plot. And Joker in the middle of the movie would have taken away from Riddler.
@@DarthLyconis yup and movie was long enough as is.
@@AV-xm5ln Because it is almost beat for beat the scene from Manhunter. Down to the protagonist taking the file and walking away to bait the answer from the villain.
Hannibal vibes
Glad they finally portray a Joker that actually looks like he fell into a vat of chemicals. Love the amount of detail they have put into this iteration of Batman. Hopefully they give Mr Freeze and Poison Ivy involved in the future.
According to Matt Reeve's, The Joker has a birth defect.
This is a great resemblance of our beloved Joker, clearly based a bit on Ledger's version, but more creepy and insane. He needs to be in the upcoming sequels, that would be really interesting.
He looks like the joker from the comics that peeled his own face off and wore it like a mask. Really freaky. Can’t wait to see more of him.
Keoghan's Joker looks like he doesn't care about his appearance unlike Leto and Phoenix, so it's possible he might peel his face off and make it a mask like Batman and Riddler lol.
Perhaps matt reeves took inspiration from Scott Snyder's run on Batman(New 52) that's the Joker who peeled his own face off plus the shaved look with patches of green hair definitely a darker look for Joker like that version was
He looks VERY inspired by Snyders new 52 Joker
@@JustYourAverageYotsubro that will be very cool tbh 💀 it’ll bring Batman movies to a whole other level
4:43 goodness he looks like a tragic disfigured clown in that part .
“I’m not a monster, i’m just ahead of the curve” Ledger “You’re normally so ahead of the curve!” Keoghan
It doesn't matter if it doesn't win Oscars We all know that this film is such a masterpiece to the last detail, will be cherished for generations to come 🦇 🌟
This is just how Joker should be.
Hot take: I’m glad they cut this scene so it didn’t overshadow the riddler. Or spoil the ending, by telling us the riddler is a fan. Still love this version of the joker and I’m excited for the sequel.
Completely agree
Yeah 100% agree its a great little scene but not important to the plot.
Agreed
My sentiments exactly
What do you mean a fan? A fan of the Joker?
This is by far most scary looking joker we’ve ever seen. Can’t wait to see him in costume and maybe makeup? We will see…
He is wearing make up
@@beaversteve no he didn’t, that’s his real smiley face scar and the chemicals turned him white
Chemicals or not, he's horribly disfigured & scary looking..........I love it!💁💯
Is this part of his origins falling into chemicals they never used it before.
@@user-ze3lk1ov5b Batman 89 did.
Fun fact, Joker takes the paper clip off the riddler's file you can see it in 1:43 which is not there anymore at 4:11(watch in slow-mo). Assuming he uses that for his escape.
Not entirely sold on Barry just yet but that was easily the best Joker laugh out of anyone to portray him
Mark Hamill
This may possibly be the darkest and smartest Joker we’ve seen to date. And that’s saying a lot considering this scene was five minutes, and 90% of it he was out of focus from the window. Absolutely incredible.
I’d say Ledgers joker is still the smartest, but that comes from a tactical angle. Keoghan nails the aspect of Joker that understands how to torment people psychologically along with physically. He’s already shown how he can tweak a conversation and quickly anger Batman
More like out of focus not blurred
the actor is unrecognizable
@@steeverogers5274 That makeup team probably gets the oscar
What? He isn’t that smart lol any decent detective could do that. Heath is still smarter
Quickest five minutes of my entire life, Barry is gonna kill it as Joker.
