It's not the same system for the PS4. The PS4 just takes screenshots for trophies, not videos. And they don't take up huge amounts of memory.

If you don’t disable the capture photo after every trophy setting, that sounds more like your fault. You should’ve remembered that annoying feature when the PS4 came out.
