Loki's season finale gave us some answers, but left us with even more questions. Has He Who Remains made this offer to a different Loki and Sylvie, in a different timeline? How many times has there been a multiversal war? And finally, what does this mean for Kang and the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

If the MCU is in a time loop, who will finally break it?

Your first congratulations 🎉🍾🎈🎊
most likely Doctor Strange could be , i have an inkling or possibility
idk but it sure as heck won't be ant man and the wasp

I remember watching iron man when it released, i would've NEVER thought that a silly movie about a comic book robot guy would go so far and deliver such amount of entertainment and mind fuckery
Thats Marvel babyyyyy ! , there’s so much stories to choose from .
Directed by a guy who played minor roles most of his career, starring a washed up actor from the 80's.
turning movie stars into movie mega super stars basically overnight
I knew the possibility of it all but didn’t think it would ever be excepted by mainstream audiences but then cap told hulk to smash and I knew that marvel had done it. From then on they had to teach people about time travel and time lines now they are trying to teach our pre history. Waking up the human race one film at a time.

Theory: What if the Nexus event on Lamentis wasn't Loki and Sylvie making a connection, but rather that Loki and Sylvie were going to perish which meant they would have never reached Kang to help break out of this time loop
^ This
they went there and still didnt break timeloop right?
@@cariopi9883 not technically as Kang is still leading the TVA, but now that Loki has all this knowledge with the TVA essentially being reset, it could be the beginning of them breaking the loop
This kind of thinking is precisely what kills brain cells. LOL! I love it, but REALLY it's way too smart for the premise of the show, I think. I mean... If that was really the case (which is AWESOME btw, congrats) I think Kang himself would've revealed it. It would've been a BLAST! Brilliant thinking. However... The show has already told us what it was... "love"...
This was my first thought the moment the episode aired. The nexus event is they’re not supposed to die. Idk why this isn’t the prevailing theory, it makes the most sense

"Eons ago... a variant of me lived in the 31st century." Even Kang's version of "once upon a time" is a mindfuck lol. That the 31st century was "Eons ago" to him made me think lol.
Right, if 31 Century Kane died, where is 21st Century Kane?
@@joshualamotte2696 the point is Kangs 31st century is like our 1500s….meaning Kang likely lives in like the 61st century
Yea. I was like....how is the 31st century eons ago, when the events of Loki in episode 1 started in 2012. And Loki doesn't take place in the quantum realm (questionable) but could have happened hundreds of years in the future with the TVA, according to the MCU timeline.
@@kfalco I think tva is located In the quantum realm
@@kfalco the kang in the episode is actually immortus which is Kangs more powerful future self, pretty sure he travelled back in time to create the tva at the beginning of time hence why he’s so old

Whoa 🤯

OMG YEAHH😳
Elaborate please. I don't understand.
??
When Mobius asks Renslayer, "where are you going?" She answers, "In search of free will!" She is basically saying in search of KANG!!!
ding ding I also think she is the reason Kang is in the TVA and not Immortus/He Who Remains.
or shes been ordered to protect and assist Loki when he was thrown to the new loop
19:18 how can past be changed in MCU time travel rules??? We know it very well from Banner, The ancient world, Loki series that no events change the past but they cause a branch reality leaving it's original version as it is in the form of sacred timeline
Yes cause she had said earlier that "only the one incharge has free will" so here she would be meaning that this free will is the one who's incharge who's Kang
Or she's saying she's going to take over. She says the only person who has free will is the one in charge and she's searching for free will so she is searching for a way to become the ONE in charge.
Fun fact: Loki has basically caused every big bad in the MCU. Loki is unknowningly this whole time the biggest big bad of them all.
In the words of Kang to lokis...I GAVE U THE PATH, U JUST WALKED THROUGH IT
At the same time he also created the Avengers.
Loki is the Universe's mom. "I brought you into this world. I can take you out!"
Red Skull? Evil Kang? Hel? Shall I go on?
@@SophiaAphrodite red skull isn't a big bad, he fucked with odin which caused odin to leave and hela to come about, kang the conquerer was unleashed bc of sylvie (who is a loki) killed he who remains. ultron was made because of loki, etc etc
My theory is that the "threshold" they crossed, when Kang no longer knew what would happen, was the point he was killed in the previous loop. So every time Kang "glitched" when Sylvie tried to kill him was the "threshold" of a previous loop. So next time Kang lives through the loop his new "threshold" will be the point in time where we saw Sylvie kill him in the show.
Oooo that’s good 🔥
Can u elaborate even more
Ver gut
@@Sarabheswaran7010 so Kang says he's lived a million lifetimes and he tells Sylvie that if she kills him he'll just do it all over again, and once she kills him he says "see you soon". So, my theory is that each lifetime he lives, he lives a little bit longer than the previous lifetime. We saw this in the show when he says "there's the threshold." So, Kang know everything that happens up to the threshold because he has lived it before. This is why he was able to avoid Sylvie killing him. Everytime he "glitched" to avoid Sylvie killing him was a point in a previous lifetime where he was killed. It was a previous threshold. So in his next lifetime, Kang will avoid being killed in the way he was killed during the show because that will be his new threshold, the point at which he no longer knows what will happen.
@@zackmyers4386 ahhh it means he now understand how he killed on his old variants, then this time it will be evil kang… its just same on thanos, where he knows how they cut his head and thats why he is angry on endgame now…but the difference is kang dont have power, he just learn and learn from the other variant. am i right?
I think alot of people are not seeing how sinister and scary this season was. Think about this, everything that happened to Sylvie from her being arrested, escaping, dying her hair, living in apocalypse places, killing TVA agents, etc. etc. everything was already written and she thought it was free will.
We can include all the atrocities that we know about here on Earth. All the wars, all the murders, raping and pillaging, abuse, etc. It was all predestined. Even us typing these comments now, is predestined.
So Sylvie was all along in a plan to give "Free will" to the people when actually she was just being used from the start, That's crazy i love it.
If everything, so does people she interacted with, because that was planned too. So Loki too, since him too so does people he interacted with, so Thor and Avengers too. No one has free will at the end. Until now.

I have a strong feeling that this new era of the MCU will end with Loki taking the place of He Who Remains in order to give MCU Nathaniel Richards (assuming that MCU Kang is Nathaniel) a normal life. It would be a fitting end for Loki’s character arc of learning to be more selfless and less malicious.
Honestly I’m so happy how good Johnathan Majors is doing as this role, he fits so well and everyone has said good about him.
The MCU is gonna reveal that our reality has been a part of their "What If" show this entire time.

If multiverses do exist, then theres probably Avengers in one of those multiverses
That would be cool if avengers link up with another group of avengers
maybe god is just like kang sitting on a throne and protecting the time
I agree. That is why the time line is in a circle. This reminded me of God of War where we see Jörmungandr which in Norse Mythology is one of Loki's children. The serpent that eats its own tail. That why he is so calm while talking to them he know what is going to happen until he doesn't and gets scared. Did get just see the end of the phase at the beginning?
You're a legend for correctly spelling Jrormomgandar

I could’ve been the 69th like but I will give it to someone else. You’re welcome, I hope you appreciate it as much as I would 🙏🏻💪🏻✌🏻😂
You are more of a legend for referencing God of War instead of just saying Norse mythology
You'd be fascinated that it's not only the norse who came up with the snake that eats itself. It's called the symbol of the ouroboros, been found in china, egypt, greece, mexico and many more ancient civillizations.
This is why Thanos said that he was inevitable, I feel like the Multiverse is going to bring him back
holly molly
that would honestly seem kind of lazy
i mean technically we saw that there was another thanos in endgame so ya knkw
I believe Thanos served his purpose. His purpose for Kang was that he would force Tony Stark to invent a proper time traveling device. For Kang this would be crucial. I think that's why Avengers travelling through time wasn't a nexus event
@@koopailija wow
Mcu is in time loop. Go back to age of Ultron when tony is trying to get banner to put Jarvis into vision there is a throw away line where banner says "I'm in a time loop! This is where it all goes wrong!" That line has so much more meaning now
Just meant they had tried it with ultron already.
OMG… Kang got Bored and Hired the God of Mischief to spice things up…. “Not a good plan.”
like the old saying says when you play with fire dont be suprised if you get burnt
Not just 1. He tried to hire 2 gods of Mischief.
Jonathan Majors gets to have his Kang and eat it too. He can be a little wacky here but still do a totally different acting take on the main Kang that we meet later if he wants. Brilliant.
I like the theory that in MCU Kang is a decendant of Tony Stark. To me that is a link to what Ravenna said in the first episode of Loki, when Loki questioned the Avengers' time traveling being a nexus event, and she said that it was supposed to happen. I think why He Who Remains thinks so, is because Tony came up with a working time machine with the Pym particles. Without Thanos, without the snap none of the time traveling would have happened. Kang and his variants needed that to happen. I'd like to think that Kang is a decendant of Tony and similar to Tony figuring out his father's plans to the arc reactor and making that work, I think Kang might have had a similar journey diving into his ancestors work/secrets and that way discovering the parallel worlds and how to travel between universes and through time and this whole thing. Kang named Mobius Mobius because he found out from Tony's files that Möbius strip was the key for unraveling time travel. I think that for Kang, Thanos was crucial. No Thanos, no time travel
Immortus wrist tempad is very reminiscent of Tony's watch/hand blaster in civil war when they fight winter soldier
by far the most put together disney+ marvel show
They left the best for last
Mobius told Loki "it happens again, and again, as it should" Suggesting it was a loop
I think he was just referring to the fact that time occurs as one repeated event.
Every time he dodged silvy he died before
Like, Edge of tomorrow.
"silvy"
Miss minutes filled him in through every iteration
I really think this is the case. Though the circular time line clearly shows that everything is in a loop every loop must be slightly different simply due to Kang's existence and influence operating just outside of the timeline.
"his journey allowed him to change" Which is beautiful, because one of Loki's big flaws for a long time was not changing
Kang had that huge castle to himself. Personally I would’ve had a couple of renslayer variants to keep me company. If you catch my drift.
😂😂😂 that one comment that I wasn’t expecting and didn’t know I needed to see

😂😂😂😂😂😂
miss minutes😏
That's the ultimate booty call. My god.
It definitely is under a loop. The sacred time-line was meant to evolve into chaos. Then Multiversal war. Then again good Kang(he who remains) will set everything right. The way miss minutes described the sacred time-line in ep 1 and how things went onto in last ep made it clear.
So this is part of what is ‘meant’ to happen, then eventually a kang will do the same thing and form another TVA to take control of the past?
@@zt2019 he who remains ends the war by killing all his other variants and keeps the war at bay by pruning timelines that lead to Evil Kangs. Sylvie then kills HWR and then unleashes the multiversal war leading to then he who remains winning again and then cycle begins again
@@joeychopra7839 but HWR only borns in 31st century
What is the meaning of repeating over and over again? Maybe Avengers could kill all variants of Kang to break the loop?
@@hbf995 why will avengers kill good variants at all? He who remains variant will help avengers get rid of the Conquerer variant. Hence its in a loop. Also, its will bring good closure to the MCU on whole. The next phases may be just about events that lead upto Multiverse War and its end.. At last, it will put MCU in loop. So finally bringing the entire circle.
Not gonna lie.. when he said "stifling order or cataclysmic chaos" it all made sense lol
Loki was definitely sent to an alternate timeline. In an earlier scene (@ 37:18), earlier to Mobius not knowing who Loki is, Mobius and Hunter B-15 are looking at the large tv screen showing all the branching timelines and you can see that Mobius is disheveled in appearance having just come back from the void. Mobius is disheveled because that's the timeline that Loki originally came from .
My thoughts: Sylvie doesn’t have a nexus event. Kang just needed her to be set on such a strong path of revenge that nothing would deter her. That’s why Revonna doesn’t remember her event, because it didn’t happen. Sylvie was just a girl. By herself. No stones or anything around. If her existence was such an issue why not prune her when she was born?
or maybe her nexus event was killing Kang? one thing i’m trying to understand is why did Sylvie mention that she was apart of the TVA before? i mean, HOW
@@sufiapauzi3076 when did she mentioned that?
MCU Phase-4 is a complete mind fuck. Time travel, paradoxes, multiverse, quantum shenanigans and we're only on its first year. Come one Marvel, we only asked for Galactus! Don't wreck our brains out.
No they have to! It's been great
Everybody seems to be on the multiverse trend now. It’s getting ridiculous and confusing lol.
I'm quite looking forward to having my brains wrecked
@@jamespruitt6718 *WARNING: Comment is longer than I had wish to make it. Read it if you only want to. Others might find it interesting. It's not confusing. It's scientific theory, or more like scientific imagination. Rick and Morty explains it best. So think of it like this. Your life moves forward in one direction. In this life, everyone 1 choice you make has 1 result, and each one leads to another, and then another, and then another... That's your path... A straight line from beginning to end. Now, for every 1 choice you make, the universe splits into another where you've made a different choice, leading to different results, but still moving forward in 1 direction IN that universe. For example: You decide to go to the store, and in this universe, this timeline, you walked on the right hand side of the sidewalk, and got to the store without any issues or delay. Normal store run, absolutely NOTHING interesting has happened. Maybe while you were walking, something occurred on the opposite side of the street that "would" affect your trip to the store. So, with this choice, already set into motion, the universe splits into one where you made a choice to walk on the opposite side of the street, and maybe that incident that occurred in that other universe occurs affecting your trip to the store. Now, in that universe, you now have to take a different path. Cross the street, turn back, now changing the course of where you were going, and who you would interact with. For every choice made in one universe, one timeline, a different one is made in another. So the reason why it's such a huge deal... a huge concept, is because it's not just "YOU" that exists in that universe making 1 choice... It's billions of people, making billions of choices, creating different realities, different possibilities. This also includes how humans, animals, and every living organism has evolved and grown. In the DC universe, Speedsters have the ability to change, or erase a timeline from existence by changing key moments in the timeline when they run back in time. If a moment in time is changed in the past from its FIRST initial action/outcome... If left that way, can cause a branch reality, where now the results from that choice have outcomes different than what was predetermined in that original timeline. But, that timeline can be erased from existence because the timeline is malleable. But, they have to ensure they got back to that EXACT moment precisely, in order to change or prevent change in order for those events to go back to normal in THAT timeline, preventing the universe from branching into a new one ever again. So with the MCU, they've chosen to use this to create the MCU's version of the multiverse. This is the ultimate opportunity to create stories and adventures that NEVER have to connect to the comics. They can borrow from source material to introduce a character, but, their path, and how they're story is told can be completely different (As if they haven't been doing that already, lol).
Fans: “we want Galactus and Dr. Doom!” Marvel: “best we can do is a semester of quantum physics”
Loki was sent into the main MCU to replace the Loki who died to Warn the avengers and his brother
When?
Wow, I didn't think but it sounds possible.
Honestly I have been wanting a Loki-Thor reunion the whole time (with a hug) and I want to believe this theory now.
Here's my theory: In the avengers Infinity War we saw that Dr. Steven Strange just saw about 4 million possible outcomes and that they only win one battle which is in avengers endgame, the rest of the battles that Strange sees where actually from another Universes(MultiVerse) that happens in the final ep of Loki s1.(MultiVerse) still waiting for Dr.Strange 2.
I have a different theory. I think he did saw millions outcomes that doesn't involve the snap, but in every one of them, TVA comes and prunes that timeline. But you are also right, since they are from different multiverses and can happen after the they are opened.
@@Tenshikichi1 i agree with you

Wait, Cap totally deviated from the timeline by staying with Peggy didn’t he? It just seems a little weird to say that Cap was SUPPOSED to stay in the past and create some sort of time paradox. I feel like Cap would’ve been hunted by the TVA as well
You know, you’re right, now I need answers
That would be the case as well when they returned to the battle of New York, but the TVA said that it was part of the time-line,
Maybe it was necessary for the falcon to take the shield (hence continuing the sacred timeline) and therefore not considered a real deviation you know??
In that case all avengers should have been caught by going back in time and snatching infinity stones from there
From what I got, and I'm still so confused lol, those events wouldn't have caused a deviation in the timeline affecting Kang..maybe. Therefore those variations of the timeline were somehow neutral to Kang...Idk. I'm still confused on why time has to start over or why is it a loop..
Imagine if the “I’ll be right back here” is just a fourth wall break describing that he’s in a movie and once they end you rewatch in order🤔
maybe ravonna is also some kind of Kang variant herself. Funny how the multiversal war sort of started with different Kang's meeting up from different timelines, and now the time loop is restarting potentially and ravonna is literally going to meet that Kang or a Kang and share her knowledge
Finally someone got it! This is just like Rick and Morty. This is already happened an infinite number of times. And it is no surprise since the head writer for Loki came from Rick and Morty
Has anyone considered that Kang might not be the "benevolent dictator" he was portrait to be? If he actually wanted the balance to continue with Loki and Sylvie in charge... why was he trying to drive a wedge between them from the start? And this was still in a time when he knew what was happening, so his words were choosen beforehand. I think it was all premeditated, he might not be creating the future for him.. but for a variant of him, the only way a Kang could conquer the multiverse. Plus, he actually knew the Loki and Sylvies variants would exist, otherwise whe would not know when to avoid their attacks. Their 'nexus events' where not anomalies in the timeline, they were forced by Kang. We've never been told what Sylvies nexus event was, she night not even have had one, things just needed to happen this way, so Kang sent the TVA to her regardless.
Of course it was manipulated. He was in control. Even programming his temp pad to send Loki to another universe
Who is KHAN?
That’s what I was saying! I did not believe for a minute that he actually cared about the multiverse. He WANTED the multiverse to break in my opinion. He isn’t the stand up guy that everyone thinks he is. Honestly, i think Sylvie was in the right.
I was a little confused at what Sylvie's nexus was when she was a child playing in her room as it seemed so trivial. Then someone pointed out that she was playing make believe that she fighting along side the valkyrie, that she wanted to be one and that a Loki cannot stray from their dark path and be the hero.
@@macklinillustration but that didnt happen yet. The normal Loki also always only wanted to be loved, he did not want to be the bad guy, but just the wanting never turned into a Nexus event
I'm so glad they didn't put him at just the end credit scene.
If you look at the time line above the castle, it appears to be an actual loop. Although they don't show the entire loop, the way it arcs around the castle implies that the castle is literally sitting inside the time loop.
"Have you also learned that secret from the river; that there is no such thing as time?" I kind of wonder if Kane was stuck in a Time loop prison. He summoned the Loki's there to trick them into freeing him.
You don't get to say you called the Kang twist. You zagged at the last moment and said that the man behind the curtain was going to be a Loki variant

Yep.
@@aDivergentThinker the video is still up. It’s called something like “LOKI: Why the big bad villain is actually SPOILER” and in it he argues rather well that a Loki is the villain.
I might be mistaken but wasn't there a moment when He Who Remains says that two Loki's showing up was different implying that Loki starting the cycle over is part of what always happens, but this time there were two of them?
Then how could he show the script about there dialog accurately if things changed in this cycle?
@@merajmasuk Like I said I might have been wrong, but my thought was that he has known that this cycle was different from the beginning.
The Oracle introduced Lpve in this cycle...
or it could be that all of this happened because Loki teleported and fled with the space stone (tesseract) so that was what made the cycle different where Loki should have been captured by the Avengers in the New York incident at that time. So it could be that He Who Remain ‘s murder still happened in the origin timeline but in a different way (where there was only 1 Loki who came)
he said he paved the way for them to get there though
Finally a video that makes sense of what happened in the finale ! Thank you kindly!!! And keep up the great work!!! Super like from me!!!!
Another awesome video Ryan! Thank you for sharing!!!
The simple fact that the tva changed shows that something changed in the loop somewhere along the way. Immortus did not end up in the castle at the end, this time it was Kang. Meaning something changed to make it so that Kang took control of the tva and not Immortus.
I guess whatever info miss minutes gave to rennslayer ended up in the hands of evil kang and he took over the tva and stopped immortus
I think each loop is slightly different. Let's say loop 1, loop 2, loop 3, onwards. So that's how time works. Loki could be in a new loop where things are slightly different.
What if Kang the conqueror is just Immortus and will eventually rearrange TVA and make a time keepers 🤔
I was reading about the Eternal Recurrence theory, the whole 'time is a circle' thing you were talking about. That basically Eternal Recurrence means 'that the universe and all existence and energy has been recurring, and will continue to recur, in a self-similar form an infinite number of times across infinite time or space.' which basically means EVERYTHING is a loop. That thinking from He Who Remains perspective, he fell into a loop when he discovered versions of himself in other universes and decided to collaborate with them. And even though he did the 'Great Emperor of China' thing where he killed off/ put away the other variants, there would still be versions of himself in other universes who would break out, cease control, make a huge multiverse mess, then a He Who Remain variant would come back, do the 'Great Emperor of China' thing again, and we'll be back to 1 timeline. He Who Remains foresaw this so that's why he's been trying to maintain a 'sacred timeline' but even he can't hold this up forever. But I'd like to think that He Who Remains knew the multiverse thing was going to happen anyway because he could see that Sylvie was so hellbent on killing him out of revenge that he knew it kind of was inevitable. Where at this point he's like 'let multiple universes burn where my variants are in charge, at least I get a break from policing this damn timeline just for a while' but like you said, the failsafe is Renslayer. Renslayer is to go back in time to make sure He Who Remains exists so that when the Multiverse war happens, He Who Remains doesn't get erased accidentally either by his other variants or by other folks and perhaps be by his side as well, cause, he is lonely and maybe she could take over policing the 'sacred timeline' while he can at least have his own life back and have fun. I mean, she seems to be enjoying this Fatalism thing too. Why didn't He Who Remains think about making Renslayer his aide even though she's been around for so long? It's because she was still happily working at the TVA and wasn't self aware. It was only until Sylvie came along, made Time Cop self aware, she discovers this, tries to hide this away, then discovers the Time Keepers are fake and has now become self aware but is conflicted because she's torn between self and duty. She honestly loves her job, her position and status and the ideal of Fatalism. She loves this order. So this is when He Who Remains pulls the 'Phantom of the Opera' which summons her to him. But like you said, Lokis are the agents of change, they make things happen but remain constant. But our Loki has broken his 'cycle' of a Loki and has become self aware and possibly in fact, the master of 2 worlds, he has now become a hero and a villain redeemed. Loki can make great change and still remain a constant in the timeline and I think he hopes he can do this with Sylvie as well.
"I've seen it all." And I immediately thought of Sir Patrick Stewart and his role in "Extras".
This video has been invaluable in helping me to understand just what the heck was happening in the Loki season finale. I’ll have to watch it again armed with more understanding.
Calling Kang ahead of time wasn't a theory, it was literally a road built to lead everyone to that conclusion. You walked it. So did like 90% of the comic channels. The only twist is that they actually used Majors instead of just peeking him in the final after credits.
Agreed, literally every channel covering loki... And every person watching it who'd heard of kang predicted kang... Or immortus... (one or 2 places suggested a loki variant... But then also said it was probably kang..)
Lol Marvel is He who remains then cz of his line “I paved the road. You just walked down it.”

i generally stay away from these types of videos, however glad i stuck this one out. also the handsome gentlemen at the end was a lovely surprise.
Its funny this was my exact theory...it seemed like Immortus was baiting Sylvie...like he wanted her to kill him and lock in a time loop paradox..also maybe Ravona didn't do as she was supposed to and instead of helping Immortus helped Kang the conqueror which is why he was the one in charge of the TVA now
That would explain why kang is the only statue at the tva when loki got yeet’d thru the door in ep6

So what i believe happened at the end of Loki is that Sylvie accidentally put him in a new branch timeline in the past where another version of Kang took over before Loki met Mobius and B-15. At the beginning Mobius says that time works differently in the TVA he didn't say time is stopped. It's still moving. They even use words like eons when talking about how long they've known each other. Renslayer and Mobius. Kang sits outside of time, even outside of the TVA. This Kang I think actually was doing this for the right reasons and he didn't even want credit for it. Thats why he created the fake time keepers and all that.. Or he did it to hide out from any other possible versions of himself. The Kang thats ruling in the new past branch timeline does want all the credit thus the statue of himself hinting at possibly being a bad ruler.
Kang wasn't sitting outside of time. He was at the end of time. You will understand soon,I think I need to make a video
Good stuff. Though, honestly, almost too much for my little brain to hang on to. You are really good at explaining complicated ideas from the MCU. I always look forward to your clips. Thank you, again.
I love just being able to watch this understanding it perfectly because I enjoy the time travel paradoxical situations
You just called It. Deadpool referencing Kevin Feige as the true timelord in the future.
Ah! This reminded me of River Song's introduction in Doctor Who! Her first ever episode is basically her death but it's The Doctor's first time meeting her.
I liked the video the very instance I clicked it because of the thumbnail alone. It always feels nice when science(maybe not in actuality) inspired characters is central and above all in a story portrayed using one of the fruits of science(quantum physics enabled digital technology).
At the end of the episode, Sylvie is left at the End of Time with Kang's special timepad thing. So, potentially she can do other things with it. At the end where Loki shows up in the alternate TVA, the statue of Kang reminded me of the statues of the Time Keepers (who were fake). Seemed like a possible foreshadow that that TVA was being run by someone using Kang's image as cover (perhaps Sylvie or Ravonna or maybe Miss Minutes) :)
also look into the fact that tie wise wanda & vision line up perfectly with lokie on that last episode
That's because WHEN they do it is important. Remember timeliness need to be intact to make sure one self will be created. Then after it passes a certain point they can go mad
In other words after Avengers eff everything up its completed. (The loop) after endgame is open territory
This makes Thor's lecture to Loki about being the same and needed to grow and change all that more significant.
Thought about this after watching the finale on Wednesday. Great delve into this!
“All of this has happened before and will happen again”-Battlestar Galactica
Everyone who watch that show had that in the back of their mind since this show started.
Oh frack!
So technically speaking every movie from here on out will be a prequel 🤯🤯
Great video, as always, man, I was wondering why Loki is in a different TVA and now everything makes sense!!! Thank for sharing all your knowledge!!!! greetings from México
Awesome analysis, man.
Guys Kang has always been around like god and has to ensure the success of himself discovering the multiverse
He’s basically Jacob from LOST
I realized Sylvie told Loki "This isn't about you" and he learned to see beyond himself that there's a bigger picture. BUT Sylvie couldn't see beyond herself, was selfish and killed Kang. She learned nothing while Loki allowed himself to change and be a better person. Kang is like Loki, battling himself. All the Lokis who changed got pruned except Sylvie. A sign that she's incapable of personal growth
I loved, loved him. The slight madness was spot on
In every loop beginning with when the timeline splitting all over the place and ending with Immortus getting killed one version of Nathaniel Richards ultimately wins out over all of the others by establishing the TVA to eliminate all other timelines where other variants versions of himself exist thus ending the multiverse war chaos.
Yeah because every time we rewatch the mcu made the time loop lol
9:50 I love how subtle he says it cause they don't, know but we do
I surmised this by the end of the episode and I'm happy you pointed it out ScreenCrush. I surmise that The Kang War leads to the creation of The MCU Timeline which leads to the Loki nexus event in Endgame and Sylvie nexus event of wanting to become a hero which leads to their respective experiences with the TVA until they meet. They go through the motions until we get to Kang and once he's killed, it begins the loop all over again. Never ending time loop for all time.
You know if he was still among us, He-who-remains would have been the perfect role for Stan Lee, after all we've seen so many variants of him already and it would have been so incredibly meta
Among us
Sus
Dr. Strange said there was only 1 way to win because the TVA stopped all other versions from working, that could be why there was so many infinity stones.
This is my first time watching him and I love him as an actor I was on the edge of my seat when he was talking lol
Lovely breakdown. Superb. = )
Something I want to toss in is that the inconsistencies in time can be explained if we understand what we call "time" as passing through the 4th dimension. If Kang's castle exists outside of "time" in the 4th dimension instead of the 3rd then his version of "time" becomes the 5th dimension. Making him a 3rd dimensional being existing in the 4th dimension while traveling through the 5th.
the 5th dimension would be the image kang showed. with all the universes stacked on top. that would not just be the physical objects but the 4th dimension being time. the 5th dimension would be those universes stacked on top of each other. that is also coincidentally the only real way we can even comprehend a 4th or 5th dimension because we (as humans) are limited by 3d space passing through the 4th dimension of time. so the fact that the writers went out of their way to picture it like this so that we the audience could understand has to be on purpose.
It’s totally possible that two versions of kang could be both villain and ally in the same film. Kang could wind up teaming up with future heroes to defeat another version of himself.
nice work!
I would goto the end of time just to watch all future uploads back to back
I think Kang's Sacred Timeline is also connected with the events we've seen in the MCU so far, namely that Scott Lang discovered the Quantum Realm and used it for time travel, Thanos is dead, and the people smart enough to stop him (Iron Man, Reed Richards, etc) are either dead or unknown in the timeline
why does the mcu being in a time loop make me feel… sad. i feel like it takes out some charm 😭
Much like time travel takes away the weight of things like Tony Stark sacrificing his life.
Time travel chicanery always feels cheap.
Cheapens everything ATM. Nothing matters anymore, everything can be reversed somewhere else.
@@DavZeugme Why? That's also likely how our reality works. Everything has a cause.
@@panzrok8701 You can't reverse "everything" IRL. Someone dead stays dead for example. Now, switch timeline and et voila.
great choice of music, I think it was a bit different than normal. kind of twisty and warped since you are talking about a twisted and warped time concept. great detail
An infinite number of me agrees with the conclusions you made in this video. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽♾
Dr strange is gonna carry phase 4
He was always going to since there's no Tony and Steve. Plus T'Challa is sadly gone. Strange and Thor are the only leaders now. Captain Marvel is too meh.
@@deathstriker9076 lemme guess, you are a man
Actually, I think it's gonna be either Doctor Strange or Scarlett Witch.
@@gc0009 I'm a guy, but it has nothing to do with gender. Buffy, Fringe, Watchmen, and Nikita are my favorite shows. Wonder Woman should lead JL. Nice try though lol.
@@deathstriker9076 Wanda will be the key to everything
This is why he wanted the both of them to run it Kang was loney
I like how the footage from Lovecraft Country fits so well with the character XD
I honestly really love that Loki has set up the fact that we can see BP2 and not have to go through a whole bunch of rewrites and recasts to explain away Chadwicks untimely death and that shuri or whoever was always the black panther in that timeline and chadwick’s performance can remain untarnished.
The way to beat Kang - kill all the Renslayers. If she doesn't go back in time to arrest Sylvie, Sylvie never develops her resentment for the TVA and instead continues on in her timeline.
There should not be multiple TVA’s, just one. Because it is outside of time and the multiverse.
Exactly. It should remain unaffected.
True but in theory there could still be multiple pocket dimensions outside ours which would mean competing but simultaneous TVA's. I think its more likely that you are right and there is only one however, and this is the cycle it goes through, that it gets made with fake timekeepers, changes to Kang the conquerer ruled version, and then changes back to fake timekeepers at some point, etc etc.
Nope it isn't outside of time, time just works differently in the TVA. Maybe it goes by alot slower but it is still moving forward. Kang sits outside of time and outside of the TVA. I believe that Loki was sent to a past branch timeline where a different Kang took over. He made it clear that they are able to access each others timelines and all that had to happen was Kang decided to take full credit and put statues up of himself instead of creating the time keepers and boom branch timeline and thats where Loki is.
@@itsboyaknow No, sorry but that's incorrect. The TVA exists in Null-Time Zone, literally outside of time. Ergo, there can be only one. It's outside the flow of time, can't branch as a result and therefore the version seen in the show techncially should be the same as the one seen in the comics.
@@frogoat we don’t know this…. We’ve assumed it, but hasn’t necessarily been established this way
Ulysees 31 voice over always pops into my head whenever the 31st century is mentioned.
It's a great honour and bless to live in an era where people take on comic book story seriously and develop a life action movie/TV series out of it. Truly a great time
