    • @@JST03 Seeing a urologist or andrologist must be uncomfortable but visiting a gynecologist would be like a man having a digital rectal exam every year since puberty. It is necessary to have a Pap smear (cervical-vaginal cytology) once a year and a vaginal ultrasound every 3-4 years after age 30. PD: A lot of men are a bit overprotective about their ***holes, but every man over forty should just forget his pride and get a digital rectal exam every year to prevent prostate cancer. We know it is uncomfortable and embarrassing, but it is for your health, and you must do it.

Every time the name "Ariel" was said in this video was by Keith or Zach. I know Ned has the whole catchphrase and all, but it's a bit indicative of how the other guys love their SOs as the individuals they are, while to Ned, Ariel is merely an extension of himself and his source of income and public validation.

    @phillisob@phillisob Жыл бұрын
    • @JohnDoe-zo8wj That's my point. Woman have to be in that position for basic, life-saving care. This was a choice he made. As a survivor of decades of CSA and SA, being in that position is one of the most difficult things and involves months of prep with therapy. I also went through IVF for a decade and had high risk pregnancies, all of which involved this position plus tools, instruments, and hands of primarily male doctors being inside of me. Yes, I roll my eyes because women are expected to just deal with it.

I have known friends of mine who will straight up break-up with their boyfriends if they get a boner looking at another girl. Is that fair? No. Does it happen? Yes. I'd make the argument that the excuse was necessary more for us (the viewers) that it was for people Ned knows irl. It certainly should not be, and most likely was not, necessary for the person doing the waxing. Ultimately we as a society are ashamed of our physiological and sexual responses even though they are natural, and so, the whole "thirst trap" bit could have worked to alleviate that pressure. @slouberiee@slouberiee2 жыл бұрын
    • @@slouberiee I recall hearing Miles mention that the title he gave one of the recent drunk/stoner videos drove a lot of traffic to the channel. I have to wonder about the demographics of that surge. What generation is responding to the drunk/stoner content? Is it post-Millennials who don't recognize how derivative the recent content is of 1990s stoner movies? Having watched the evolution of stoner comedy get creatively lazier and lazier in real-time, I have been disappointed to watch the Try Guys recreating the same, exact process. I don't have an issue with weed or alcohol, I just want to see the guys return to their creative past. The idea Zach talked about--attempting to steal a tricycle from a box store--was a Benny Hill/Arte Johnson mashup. Granted, he was getting loaded at the time but stoned or sober, the concept has been done. What the Try Guys have done is amazing. They have produced a multitude of smart, engaging, evergreen video content. In recent weeks, not so much.

Most people I know of just do bikini waxes so there's no hair visible beyond their beachwear but leave the nethers alone. When I wax, it doesn't hurt that much (except for some reason, by the ankles) but I get giant bruises immediately and ingrown hairs for weeks afterwards (yes, I excoliate, no, it doesn't seem to make a difference from when I didn't), and shaving gives me the same ingrown hairs plus itching from the sharp ends on the regrowth. I personally find being completely hairless is weird but my husband likes the feel, and I would do it for him except for the problems it causes me, so I asked him if he'd shave for me, and he did. Dry shaved. No ingrown hairs, no razor rash, no big deal. Except for me, it IS a big deal and means weeks of discomfort. I'm just wondering whether these guys had any of the same regrowth problems afterwards.
