Everything was just delightful. But why is no one talking about that FIRE RESISTANCE?? I was extremely shocked I left my mouth wide open when it held like 5 seconds and I did not even expect how long it ended up just handling it like a champ! I am so surprised and this whole video is a masterpiece. I recently bought my 1st ever apple product, being the iPad Air 2022 in purple. I just knew how great of an experience it is, since i've gotten a job, i'm scared for my wallet in the future because of how good apple is with marketing and making you feel like you need their products despite the pricetag. I did I came back here immediately just to see the comparison I am pretty disappointed with the 15 pro max durability I have the 14 pro max.

If I know it right, Jerry has previously tested 3 phones with sapphire displays, they scratch at level 8 with deeper grooves at level 9. One of these was the HTC U Ultra sapphire edition and two phones from Kyocera. (Kyocera is a company which artificially makes crystals, like sapphire or opal.)

the tech is there but there is no incentive for companies to do that. They want to artificially get people to buy new phones every.... 6-12 months. It's already a miracle the gorilla glass on mobile phones are so durable right now.... Just look at the price they charge on folding phone with a plastic screen.... So no, they don't want to make phones more scratch resistant... they want people to wear out their phones asap so they will get a new one for like 2000 bucks every freaking year

The UK hasn’t standardised the charging port. The EU (European Union) has of which the UK is no longer part of. …still Apple should have used usb c given that their new iPad mini has it.
It is so disrespectful to ship a phone with 1TB storage that shoots ProRes and then use Lightning with USB 2.0 transfer speeds. Also a Lightning to USB-C is the most unhelpful cord ever.

I suspect they will get rid of the port altogether before changing to type C
@keilbasa Not that I am convinced apple will lead that charge in innovation, but being able to open up data transfer bandwidth that much wirelessly would make untethered HD AR possible. They will absolutely have to as I believe they are planning on powering glasses with sub 3nm chips using a phone or tablet to do bulk processing.
In all fairness, the lightning cable is superior in terms of durability (not in speed). While the USB-C is faster and can provide more power, it's a bad design where the pins can break INSIDE the port rather than on the cable which is easily replaceable. And if the USB-C is soldered onto the main board as with some of Samsung's latest phones, it's really difficult or near impossible to replace.

Had an 8+, that cracked front and back glass that finally quit working wen I dropped it about two ft. The screen went yellow with green and blue lines. Went to Verizon yesterday and tried to get the 11 because of a medical program I use. They didn’t have one and after filling insurance I got the 13 pro max in the mail. Well I made it 4 years without upgrading but this was a had to kind of thing. Your durably test makes me think this is going to last a bit longer.

The “and 11” in the background sent me 😂😂 I have a 7plus and I’ve had it for 5 years. It still works perfectly and is a great phone for me. Never understood why people felt the need to rush out and buy the brand new version of a phone when the one they have is perfectly fine. I like to get my money’s worth out of my stuff.

@@Messi_The_Goat_1030 I got my 13 pro a couple weeks ago it feels like going from a bike to a space ship. It feels so expensive it’s one of the nicest pieces of tech I’ve ever owned I feel guilty lol 😂
@@ghostballs1874 I’m glad I’m deciding to switch I’ve had my 7 for like 3-4 years and it’s sadly slowly stops working at points so I think it’s time for a change and I’m kind of excited like you said to have technology that expensive 😂

less chargers are being made in the result of not shipping with every phone. Saving in a lot of metals, plastic, mining, warehouse space, etc. It's not just about packaging.
They make less chargers. Samsung just took the brick out and didnt even say anything. They’re embarrased because they made fun of apple for taking it out. Then when they realised it was a good idea they did the same thing

You do not need a new charging brick every time you get a new phone. I always use aftermarket chargers or portable chargers for my phone
