Hailey Van Lith has been phenomenal this entire year. If Clark wasn't playing super human everyone would probably notice. 27 points in an Elite 8 is very good.
All I noticed is her not running back on defense after turning the ball over

It was almost domination. They let a 21 point lead slip to less than 10 with 2 minutes to go

Whats uncanny about clark is her shooting mechanic, the follow thru, the backspin, so buttery smooth, next wnba big star for sure.

Had the game on as background noise to begin with but by the 2nd qtr I was invested thnx to Caitlin Clark. Ngl, she was giving me 2015 Steph Curry vibes w/ the way she was moving, shooting & dishing. Highly impressive player regardless of gender. And shoutout HVL too she was hooping as well.
Saibapunk Steph Curry has sent out messages about her talent. In regards to her shots from the logo, he says "it's not a bad shot if you make it", and she makes a LOT of them from that far out. Her abilities are INSANE. I never used to care about women's basketball, but this year it was televised more, and being an Iowa Hawkeye fan, we were enjoying the women's games more than the men because the men couldn't play consistently and win. The girls just went out and played. Caitlin has at least one more year, 2 if she wants to use her COVID year. In the off season, she trained hard and gained 8 lb. of muscle. She's 6' and weighs 150. Watching her run the floor is truly amazing. You can see the gears in her head working on both defense and offense. She isn't a ball hog either, her assist record proves that. I am really looking forward to the Final 4!! Go Hawks!!

Love University of Iowa sports alone and having Caitlin Clark on our team has elevated women's basketball to a very entertaining spectacle. So proud of Caitlin and the team! I am really hoping they get the championship.
When did Steph Curry start playing women’s basketball? Good lord, this woman is beyond great! I can see teams in the Final Four double teaming her constantly, but I’m not sure it would work.
This is what women's ball has been lacking. The game just isn't attracting enough pure athletes like you find in MMA or track & field, so someone finally came along and said "I'm gonna be the female Steph Curry". I'm still hoping for the female Russell Westbrook.
Most every bucket is a cutting swish like perfection, its uncanny and yes we need to see her and Steph Curry do the racks at Iowa!! I bet people would pay to watch!!

I wish you would have included the hug between Coach Walz and Caitlin because it was so touching. He had coached Caitlin, Van Lint, and a player from UCONN in an international under 19 team competition so they know each other. That was the best game Iowa had up to this point in the tournament. We weren't physically beaten like when we played Georgia in the 2nd round, it was a lot of solid basketball, and unfortunately for Louisville, they had no answer for Caitlin. Too bad this will be Czinano's last year so I'm hoping for great things in the Final 4.

Whoa Clark was in Larry Bird territory, in the zone. She was way out, not even near the 3 point line on most of her 3's, a lot of those were logo 3's! I'm so old I remember when most women had a hard time even reaching the basket from 17 feet out. These women have evolved the game so much. Men have gotten better in the last 40 years but women overall have improved 5 times as much.
The Hawks just started playing with their food in fourth quarter instead of eating it. For people to say this was a good game, keep in mind Iowa stopped playing in mid fourth quarter to waste time n still ended with 97. If Iowa kept playing hard n fast they would've scored in 110s easily.
Go Hawks! I applaud the CLASS shown by Louisville throughout game. Seriously. Best I’ve seen in this tournament! 👏👏👏
Eburg That is exactly what I said. It was solid basketball, not cheap shots like we had to put up with when we played Georgia in the 2nd round. They were trying to injure our players and that pissed me off, but we outplayed them.

Hailey Van Lith coach took all the fire out of his player when she was saying "This my house" early in the first quarter he grabs her head and skalds her for being herself after that she was done...you gotta let these women show they emotions it's a part of the game
