  • Of the Saitiev brothers, Adam was and is my personal favorite. He had a smaller arsenal of attacks than his older brother, but he utilized those 3 to 4 moves with absolute mastery, literally reinventing moves like the inside trip in real time against the world's best on the World and Olympic stage. He actually executed the inside trip in ways that I have never seen any other wrestler finalize. Pure flow state wizardry at the highest levels of Freestyle wrestling.

  • just imagine he being 74 kg wrestler he beat Khadartsev , Shirvani Muradov, Gatsalov, Sajidov , Ketoev , Previous olimpic Champ Khadzhimurad Magomeodv iand many other guys n 86 kg - All these wrestlers are monsters world and olmpic champs. Adam Saitiev in his prime for me is best wrestler which i ever saw and his brother saitiev buyvasar said it too

  • I love that you've included a bunch of stuff that I as a judo player would call ashi-waza. I'm typically of the view that every form of grappling can learn a lot from each other so I love seeing the techniques I know from a judo context being used successfully in other rulesets.

    • Adam used leg trip style takedowns better than just about anyone in FS wrestling.

    • Literally all athletics are biology, physics, and anatomy in concert. Doesn’t matter the style, the laws of those three govern it all

    • @@Arminsaf2yea but its interesting that two different sports come to the exact same conclusion with techniques. He did alot of straight up judo techniques, even an uchi-mata which is crazy to see.

  • Amazing. Simply a genius. He and his brother Buvaysar took freestyle wrestling to a new level.

  • His timing is impeccable. The situational awareness to cartwheel or ankle pick when he does is world class. When I trained with an Olympic coach, it struck me how much of an emphasis there is on "twitching" instead of thinking. No time to think when the opening is a quarter of a second. Great compilation!!!
