I wouldn’t use it. This isn’t applying any pressure to the actual glue joint so you are going to be out of square due to lack of squeeze out, as well as just having a weak glue up.
YOU CAN MAKE IT WORK... If you apply pressure two both side pieces at the same time and equally... But using some joining piece, like a dowel will add much more strenght to the corner joint.
I agree. At least the clamps should be pushing the joints together.
As a positioning square that is a pretty nice build. As a clamping device it is pretty much a failure. But if you are making a four-sided box, you use four of these to position, and use a strap to apply pressure - you may have something going for you. You'll need to balance tightening these positioning squares with the pressure from the strap.

Essa supercola é importante até que ponto em conjunto com a cola branca?
A super cola ajuda a deixar as peças na posição certa, para depois poder pressionar com os sargentos. Não é uma regra, só que eu acho que adianta o meu trabalho. 😉👍🙏🙏
@@WillWoodDiywoodworking Valeu pela sua sugestão. Acredito que após a aplicação da cola é desnecessária a supercola pois a mesma será posicionada com pressão dos grampos. Vejo inúmeros outros vídeos assim e até hoje nunca ninguém me convenceu usar cola branca com super cola é mais eficiente...
Eu uso super cola quando tenho que parafusar duas peças e as mesmas não precisam de cola para depois serem incorporadas ao projeto.

What is the point of the CA glue when you are just going to clamp it anyway. Seems bit superfluous.
It's to give it an instant,temporary hold while the wood glue dries.otherwise the boards would just be slipping around as you tried to clamp them
@@micklatham3425 then that means you used too much glue to begin with. Not to mention he put the CA glue on wet wood glue which prevents the CA glue from sticking to one of the sides making it useless.
