  • #1 and #3 seem to perform the same function or am I missing something. I love the clamp in the 3rd one though, just what I needed the other day.

    • Yes. Except #1 jig is far simpler and quicker to build. I can't see any superior benefits deriving from making #3.

  • For No. 2 you need a longer bar as a reference. You can see it in the last seconds when the router turns a bit sideways. But the idea is so simple and easy to build.

    • I would add taking multiple passes, don’t hog out that match material with a trim router.

  • 🛠🪚🪛 Another great addition to milling techniques! If Number 5 could run on aluminum U-profiles, it would probably work even better. Greetings from Rudi in Germany! I'm curious to see the amazing woodworking tool hacks and router tips and tricks in this video. Keep up the innovative work! 💪🌲🔨

  • I'm used to larger, corded routers kzhead.infoUgkxfQ5_mgwq6PcudJvAH25t-I4D-3cTPz4z so this was a different experience for me. Basically, this is an incredibly sweet machine, fits well in the hand, etc. It has slightly less power than I'm used to, but that's understandable. Maneuvering freehand takes some practice. These days, it's especially nice to be able to avoid power cords. This is above the level of a hobbyist but below a pro level.

  • In the second one, the router bit is pulling _away_ from your fence. You would want to cut in the opposite direction for the router to pull inward toward the fence... or put the fence on the opposite side.

  • Минус 5 приспособления - колесики. Под них и стружка и опилки попадать будут, потому о качестве фрезерования не стоит говорить

    @arzya13@arzya1311 ай бұрын
    • Вообще-то, то что делается приспособлением №5 это работа рейсмуса. Каретка подобного типа была бы полезна для выравнивания широких площадей типа столешниц. Но для опоры роликов нужна идеальная поверхность, а не показанные дощечки. И 6 опорных роликов , как мне кажется, это перебор.

      @Alkorix@Alkorix10 ай бұрын
    • @@Alkorix я знаю это приспособление) оно есть у меня. Но значительно прочнее, да и ролики закрыты..

    • Попадает стружка под ролик и всё коту под хвост. Вторая идея вполне норм, правда направляющую подлиннее.

  • Attach a router to a thin sheet of plywood and place in a workmate, for instant router table, should be able to use the router own fence

    @robertsurtees2667@robertsurtees266711 ай бұрын
  • Много опасной и неправильной работы. В целом, ерунда. Особенно последний рейсмус, который колесами едет по мусору и ровной плоскости не даст. Да и колес надо всего 3, а не 6.
