  • The sultan of Johor is currently our nations's King -the richest and most outspoken. Has such a great love for Johor and doing so much for the state. I'm half Johorean from my father's side. Lots of Arab/Javanese descendants there through migration centuries ago. You need to try Laksa Johor - delicious fish sauce eaten with pasta and condiments 😊

  • Sis, if you're getting the water dispenser, do not get the ones on subscription. Because the companies will try to lock you into a multi-year contract. Buy the dispenser machine outright and change the filters yourself. It's easy and the filters don't cost much. Initial setup require some plumbing service to make a new water line to the machine, but that's it. Ask your realtor to recommend a reliable local Melaka plumber.

On the mmh2 program silver or gold, as i understand the deposit has to be banked for 1 year, after which you can remove 50% for house purchase. What then is the rule regarding the other 50% left in the deposit? I am sure alot of the viewers are wondering the same. Also, i believe it is slightly different criteria for someone over 50 years old? I am very interested in making the move, again many thanks for your work. Best wishes Kevin, UK.

I was horrified but she is from turkey so was not sure if to teach her about what is shirk, but then they have in their country including istanbul airport all these blu eye thing that they say is to stop the evil eye insteadof reading the quran.. many muslims are used to saying all these shirk stuff. Anyone who wants to understand what is shirk or why superstition is haram/forbidden read an excellent book by sheykh Bilal Philips called: Tawhid That is an excellent book to understand about all the roots of superstition and why they are un-islamic to follow them.

    • It is so bizarre that yt has deleted my comment on replying to above comment that crossing fingers is haram because it is superstitious. I then just simply said that whoever wants to understand the root of words like 'touch wood' and 'finger crossed' come from pagan culture. The deleted comment was not even offensive it was to say that i work with some muslim turkish women that always say when they talk to us 'touch wood' and then knock the wooden tables around to make the point. I then said to get an idea why these are haram is to read sheykh Bila Philips' book called TAWHID! SO YT now censors Islamic advice??? And not only my pro 🍉 comments??

We, this ummah should be more careful using such terms while it comes very casual in the West, we all really should know what it really means or where it's coming from.
