My advice as a Malaysian to those thinking of moving here, please integrate into the local populace which is not hard at all since Malaysia is already one of the most multicultural places in the world. The last thing we need is multi-generations of foreigners who live in bubble keeping distance from locals. Pick up some local language, get out and contribute to local community, join the gotong royong with your local neighbors, not only fellow expats a.k.a immigrants. Too many in the immigrant community living only among themselves. If prospective immigrants want the current permissive attitude of locals on immigration to continue, get out of your way and socialize with locals. I’d love to see more muslims from the west to come here, because we know it’s becoming harder for muslims to live over there. Right now the largest groups seeking to make Malaysia their home are the Chinese, Koreans and Japanese (these three groups make up 61%). Help us to help you.
This is so true.
I'm planning to move to Malaysia from the uk with my daughter and she's already started talking about making friends with locals and inviting them over and going to their houses.😂
Good advice. JAK
My dream would be to go there with my children and help the community, the poor and the orphans 😢 May Allah swt accept my duas and sacrifices ameen
Not forgetting the Bangladeshis.
Just to offer my two cents: 1. Low skilled/labor jobs are mostly taken up by foreign workers from Indonesia/Bangladesh/Myanmar 2. Some Japanese/Korean expats live here because their companies set up business here. They earn their salary + bonus + allowances in Yen/Won with favorable exchange rates against Ringgit. 3. Some Japanese/Koreans wives live here with their children but the husbands stay in Japan/Korea to work. They prefer here because the cost of living is low and their children can study at international school. 4. Salary is quite low in Malaysia. Earning in Ringgit does not give you much purchasing power. 5. You can earn more by doing business but of course it's not straight forward and comes with many challenges. But if you know how to do it and do it right, you can live very comfortably.
You need a UK salary to have a decent life. Malaysia Jobs are UK Outsourced their salary is not great. Saira has a UK company. Use Monzo and Starling no fees and live a comfortable life
You are correct. The reason things are reasonably or.relatively cheaper here is that 80% of the population are earning low. Can't even plan for a holiday in the UK.
@@fauzanriez9472you can plan to go to Osaka. My children have been there after saving for 10 months.

Very informative video and thank you for sharing yout experience. I have been following your journey and alhamdulillah you look happy. May allah bless you and your family in your hijrah.
Hello Saira Welcome to Malaysia especially Malacca, I’m a malaccan myself, impressed with your informative videos
as salam alaykum Saira thanks so much for the videos great content. I'm Irish living in the UK married to my Malaysian wife we are planning on moving to Malaysia as soon as our eldest finishes her A levels. Thing about moving to Malaysia is that salary is very low but the workload isnt I've considered working in Singapore and living in west Malaysia this might be a real option for some if the can work hybrid (1 week in the office 1 week WFH).
Malaysian married foreigner their children can get citizenship
@@NazarShah-jh3hq we are in the process of sorting this out. Our eldest already has it so the younger ones should get it also. It makes getting into state schools much easier. The international schools just arent worth it in my opinion. So we probably will go with the semi private.
Goof luck with your move. The UK isn't safe anymore.
Welcome to Melaka Malaysia
Assalamualaikum hi sis Saira. Thanks for the compliments. 😍❤
بارك الله فيكم Very informative episode sister, given me a good insight in to how to prepare hijrah in a practical sense 👍
Glad to hear you're minimizing too...at some point decluttering is essential. You are giving very good tips ..for those coming to Malaysia

Welcome
Excellent video, thanks very much Saira.
Keep encouraging. Everyone will be happy.
Great video sister thank you! X
I think you got it wrong about having to spend 2 million ringgit on a property in KL. The minimum is 1 million ringgit for foreigners. True it's 2million in Selangor, which includes PJ but foreigners don't buy there.
barakAllah feeki, your videos are very interesting and informative
I left for Syria ! Fantastic.
Assalamualaikum sister…..your content is absolute gold, as I am looking to migrate to Malaysia in the near future, insha Allah. May Allah bless your family and reward you in abundance…Ameen.

Your videos are so so so helpful for someone planning on also downsizing and moving to Malaysia inshAllah. Thank you so much! Could you also provide some insights on how to go about building a muslim community/how to make friends in a new place? That's the bit I'm worried about as our family has a pretty large social circle in Canada, and starting over from scratch feels intimidating.
Pray maghrib & subuh at the mosque especially during weekend .to.get to know your neighbours or to make more local friends .
Salaam Saira watching your videos and we are looking into moving and are considering Malaysia. We have two children primary school age and wanted to ask what is it like for schooling costs and what’s the approx cost for housing? Thankyou in advance and keep the content coming it’s so helpful ❤
Someone from an immigration company said.... Staying for 3 months, leaving for a few days and coming back is being tracked and the government is clamping down on that.

Following with great interest! What are the homeschooling options like for children 8-10? Also does Malaca have a bustling job market compared to KL?
Salaam sis, the MM2H with 80k gives u 5yrs residency, what happens after the 5years? do u renew? does that usually get approved? what next?
you said in one of your videos that you will let us know who to contact, which lawyer to contact. Can you tell me which video? And is that possible someone who retired and wants to live in Malaysia. Thank you so much.

Where is your video on schooling etc- i can't find it on your page
Hi Saira, you said my brother and you.........!!!!!!. Where is...?!!!.
You'll need to hang on to that rental because you will need time to renovate your new house and can't live in it while it's being renovated. Took me 6 months to add my kitchen cabinets in my new bare house in KL.
I almost watched all your videos. After watching, I have decided (at least it helped me) to move to Malaysia. Would you advise me on renting a property in Malacca . What is the best way to ? Is it propertyGuru or contacting an agent? How do I find an Agent?
A great video sis🌹 I am hoping if you could make a video on affordable secondary schools in malaysia. I am sure there are many but what do u suggest?

What's the medical system like in Malaysia, is it free state funded or private for foreigner's

The fastest ever youtuber to get subscribers above 10k. I think a lot of people like your content
You can work on a MM2H visa? I read everywhere you can't?
Alhamdulillah and your journey story. Interesting and informative But what happens once their?? Also how do you actually renew your British passport once their when it expires? Do you renew it from Malaysia if possible? Also once you have a permanent visa - can you apply for the Malaysian passport?? As in this west/ UK the Muslims will have to leave from their anyways - sooner or later. Malaysia is a good country and the people are great to immerse in have friends get to know once their - as they are own Asian brothers and sisters and Muslims, plus it's a climate closer to our own home environment! Warm and sunny unlike the cold western countries! However, the visa situation is not good over their, neither the job market sector or the economy in Malaysia - as it is not that strong as it is relatively low and neither do they renew the work contract. Many have actually had to leave Malaysia due this reason, neither do they give you a permanent stay and visa if your a student - 10 year or not. As one does not want to come back to the UK/ the west, as you will be kicked out from their anyways sooner or later - a fact. Reality is you are only going to get a visa if you have a million in Malaysia- and plus you actually need a UK salary ro survive in Malaysia. Other muslim countries offer more options in terms of permanent jobs and renewal and visas - even Pakistan/ Islamabad is a good option. As Malaysia is not the best option unless you are financially blessed. UAE or Oman and saudi is a better option - even Pakistan. Not everyone is a millonaire or that financially abundant, as they will give you an permanent visa only if your a millionaire?? Good country but low on visa options / or for people who want to make hijra from the west?? As one wants a permanent stay in any muslim country - especially if your leaving the UK / the west for good inshallah.
She has already explained why Saudi Arabia or UAE got crossed off the list. You think your money doesn't stretch much in Malaysia? Try those countries you'd been suggesting lol. And to be fair, a million ringgit is not that much, even in local's perspective 😅 You can only buy modest houses within that bracket. With the way Saira's been preparing for her hijrah, even without knowing where she will go, I'm confident she will meet that amount soon, if she's not already there.
What are you smoking? Nobody is kicking Muslims out of the UK lol We have more rights here to practice Islam in London and speak our minds than in most Muslim countries. This lady has a business in the UK still and that’s how she is funding her Malaysia stay. Plus she will go back when her kids are older and need uni education.
What about settling your UK tax affairs? Please discuss
Loving d videos. May I ask which part of London where u from? N did u home school ur kids here? Also did u send them to Islamic schools or any maktabs?
Could you please share the agent's contact information please?
hi, why did you choose Malacca, hows the beach there, and hows the Mahol, mosques etc?
Generally Malaysia is Muslim country... A lot of houses been build around mosque
insurances are haram anyways .. i only have car insurance as its compulsory and have house building insurance ( so that in case of fire damage my brother doesnt say how stupid i was , actually what different does it make even if i was stupid .. to me the whole world is stupid who think success is having a big luxurious house , a car , a top nosh job , etc ... there is nothing wrong living in a tent , eating simple food , growing our own fruit and veg , keeping goats and hens and walking or just having a horse .... wise are people who are buying lands and growing fruit , veg and wheat , keeping goats , hen and buffalo ..as that’s the way to break the net of dajjal
Okay, I'm nearly sold on it. Where is the best location to aim for? There would be 8 of us coming InshAllah
Malaka come and join me 🙈
@@SairaHayati okay I'm coming. Where do I book the flights to? I'll aim for after Ramadan. What's the cost to rent an 8 seater car? Or to buy one?
8 seater car is about rm700 or 120£ per day or rm200k or 20,000£ for an mpv
@@businesshomeschooling the new cheapest 8 seater mpv you can buy in Malaysia is Hyundai Staria. The lowest spec cost about RM170k+ or you could consider the Kia Carnival for around RM200k. Alternatively you can consider a used 2016-2017 Kia Grand Carnival for 90-100k.

Salam sister...my family and I are sold on Malaysia...just concerned about finding work there...not sure if my job skills (tube driver) are transferable...any advice
She mentioned there is a Guardian Visa aswell? -
Our tubes are driverless (its called light rail transit and mass rapid transit - LRT, MRT). The rail services do have drivers operating but I doubt foreigners would be able to secure a job. In normal circumstances foreigners in Malaysia are mostly professionals in their respective fields - IT, surgeons, engineering consultant etc.
If you have a grown up child who has a job/ relative wit a job / somebody who you know alrea lives there they can sponser you to be their guardian aswell.
Don't know anyone there, will be myself wife and 3 children under 18
Will keep researching my options and inshallah I can make the hijrah
Which area are you moving too?
How much does it cost to send a car ?
where is the girl group to help a Muslim sister moving alone to Mala? thanks
Any way of contacting you please?
World governments won't reduce emissions in time. Our near future is a world without ice. Half the UK will be under water. Malaysia is small and coastal, it will do no better and will suffer unbearable heat waves.
