I watched full match and my god Emma give up too easily. Her happiness was obvious when everything was going on her terms. When things got tough she stopped moving and let her opponent crush her. She should fight for every point even if things look hopeless.
Totally agree. Are her supporters still going to talk about injury? I would think that, for a major, you would do all of the physio that you possibly could to be ready....
Emma is a failure and a quitter. She's a disgrace to British sport. I'm surprised she didn't bring the trainer on and fake an injury like she usually does when losing.
I wouldnt talk about injuries, but about the insane amount of pressure that the press has placed on her back home. At this point, the US Open has become her curse. Without knowing it, she created a monster. Well, they created it for her. She has a lot to lose, that is the problem. I dare to think she will feel better after getting the burden of being the defending US Open champion off her shoulders later this year. She wont have to play with that label anymore. Leylah Fernandez plays as the US Open finalist and does not feel the same amount of pressure for some reason. Maybe the press is less relentless in Canada (Bouchard: - Hold my selfie stick). EDITS: grammar
Might be that filthy lucre and premature fame are to blame for subsequent failures as far as Radu is concerned 🤔
No talent, lost to very low ranking, worse than them a lot
For a second I thought they weren't going to spoil the match highlights by showing the winner in the thumbnail. But nope, they still aren't listening.
They’re actually dumb whoever monitors the Roland Garros KZhead. For a very long time they also never showed the hand shakes in the end
Tap “like” to this comment if you second boycotting watching for a day.. so may be that will get them to listen. #LetsDoIt
Let's be honest. You know without a spoiler who was going to win lol.
Maybe they are punishing us for not watching live 😂
They are the worst GS to ever make highlights.
Raducanu simply become predictable with routine shots! Sasnovich used the drop game wisely! Good game!
1 and last grand slam and she's finished I think
Please stop using big words followed by the definition..sound lower level.. Predictable then routine shots..
@@ashwanidhurway6424 oh please. Unless you’re a time traveller or fortune teller you can’t predict something like that. She’s only 19! I’m not impressed with her either but garbage statements like yours are laughable.
Raducanu simply is not so good, as the people from tennis in UK try to say.
Something is wrong in her body . She is looking tired in every game .. idk what's happening
Well deserved win for Sasnovich! She played well and tough!
Excellent player!
Still Rolland Garros wont upload their winning posts on their social media handles
Super enjoyable to see someone playing the right way and respecting the game come out on top
Like not banning players because of their nationality/religion/philosophy.
1:26 PERFECT dropshot from Sasnovich in every sense.
2:20 not bad
So interesting the comments. She was lauded with having a very high tennis iQ. I guess she lost her intellect? Serena has 23 slams but was regarded as a dumb player. Raducanu won a slam and a couple matches and her intellect is regarded as untouchable. Interesting.
Serena has great mental understanding of her physical capabilities..I don't think it's necesarry to mention the word dumb..
@@coacherful I was making a point that people think she is a dumb power hitter. I certainly disagree. Emma is a power hitter but people say she has a high tennis IQ. I was simply highlighting the double standard.
She was lauded as the best female tennis player to ever live you have to remember, people said anything and got over excited with her.
Hi Roland Garros, thank you for uploading this video and also telegraph who won via the thumbnail and therefore save me minutes of suspense...
Given the way she struggled in her first match, this is not surprising at all. Given the huge pressure she’ll have going into US Open as a defending champion, it will most likely be an early exit there too.
She’s gonna be an early exit because she simply isn’t that good biggest fluke in tennis history was her winning US open
@@scout7060 Agreed but the huge expectations and the huge disappointments so far will be a big factor at least mentally. Lets see!
First real test of her mental toughness : Wimbledon. Two months later USOpen. Almost 2500pts to defend. Huge pressure. Is she fail to defend at least 1000pts she will be play in small tournaments like WTA250 or qualifications to bigger WTA500/1000 after ranking loss to position 60-70. Fall from tennis heaven to hell and hard fighting for every 10, 50 points.
@@pioterer79 Emma plays her best on fast hard courts like the ones at the US Open and grass, clay is her weakest surface. She should be ok but just in case she flop badly in those grass and fast hardcourt tournaments, she can always ask and will get wildcards to play at those 1000 tournaments as she is a Grand Slam champion and a big star
Pin point precision from Sasnovich, very impressive under pressure, she might go far in this tournament.
I love when the player screams and stares to the opponent, only because they've won the first set. In the end, who gets the last laugh.
Yeah her attitude is as annoying as novaks.
Emma is a trouble maker!...
Pretty sure she’s looking at her camp, stop twisting things.
Yeah it's too early. Look back 20 years to the players who won time and time again and were able to dominate...no big celebration or roar until it really counted
@@cupidslover3 Well say that to McEnroe, Lendl, the Williams sisters, Sharapova, Azarenka, Nadal, Djokovic, Kerber.. I think the ones who are more quiet, were Radwanska, Federer and Pliskova
Emma needs to add more to her game. She just can't outhit or outsmart every player with just consistency. Continued success is built on a combination of sound footwork, easy power, a great serve, a forehand which can conjure up winners when needed. Without this, it's either hit or miss. Iga is the only player at present who can to some degree claim to be a complete player. I would expect her to win this tournament. Anything else, would be a serious upset.
People forget that Kreijickova, a double's specialist, won RG. Emma wasn't the only shock GS winner in tennis.
Kreijickova was not 18, she was not playing in just her 2nd GS, she wasn't just 3 months on tour, she wasn't ranked outside top 150 in the world and she was not a "qualiifier" !! I do wish people would do their research before making comparisons !!
Now it's really official. Her win at the US Open was a bluff. Plus she became a diva. But even without becoming a diva, she wouldn't have repeated that miracle.
you should appear on call my bluff as mr.captain bluff...what a stupid bluffer you are.
Congratulations Sasnovich! That’s all there is to it.
She did earn it. Personally, I like her mental approach very much.
So happy for Sasnovich winning. I think she has been pretty inconsistent throughout the tour, but this match keeps reminding me that she can beat the top-seeded players if she’s within her element. EDIT: wording; to appease the people in the comments lol
Emma isn't a top player
Emma is over-rated player. Btw, there is no class player, only player in form in wta. They can beat top player in one match and lose easily the next. That’s it
I'd hardly call Emma a top player. She had a fantastic two week peak, but shes been a one hit wonder since
Emma should not have been a seeded player.
Compared to some other top players. I'd better say Emma herself is just above average.
After the first set, Aliaksandra had her number. Great victory for her!
I dont want to thrash Emma or anything she's still just 19 but we should all just accept the slam win was a one time thing and maybe she's not all that good after all. Doesnt take away how good she was over those 2 weeks but thats probably as good as it gets.
Almost anyone on the tour, male or female, can be best player in the world for a fourteen day stretch. I's just a matter of timing. I'm sure that's been the case for Nick Kyrgios more than once but it just never coincided with the schedule of a major tournament.
I wish the media could stop shoving her down our throats. She’s very inconsistent.
Wait, how you can do that? She is co cute and marketable that we (media) lose so many clicks if we will forget about her just for even one hour. It will be very painful for us,,, but it's fine if is painful (cause, all of expectations) for Emma.
I think her problem is that she is not very good.
ER not trying to chase some shots shows the attitude, which won't take her anywhere
She always seems to have a good attitude though so I think that’s unfair.
it also build up her opponents

not anywhere? she's a grand slam champion lol
People keep saying that ER needs to rehire her former coach, but they forgot that ER won the USO because of post pandemic lockdown. Many top players were rusty, and some, like A. Kerber, are reaching the end of their career. Both L Fernandez and E Raducanu will not repeat those victories again, regardless of top coaches or any miracle.
lol some new excuses again 😂😂
true true. I think Emma just got lucky in that tournament
Raducanu needs no help from any coach...She needs change of attitude.Or change her career and participate in beauty contests. That' s not what tennis is all about.
Here's the thing that makes more sense. When you win a big title, you get put on the map. Players will adapt their games to be able to play against those top players. So if you're relatively new, your game hopefully isn't something too easy to figure out. Combine that with new expectations. Part of why she was able to play well was because she didn't have as much expectations. Now she does. It's roughly going to be a similar journey to previous first time Slam winners. Pete Sampras certainly fell afterwards before gathering himself back together.
@@JiraiyaSama86 Indeed a more complete analysis than the one above 😂
I've said it before and will say it again. Emma has the potential but seriously needs to add layers to her rather limited and predictable game, and fast. Nothing like a Clay Court to expose weaknesses.
Wrong no potential lost to very low ranking chinese player after us open, wake up and accept the truth my friend. Lucky looser
I was waiting for a drop shot that never came!
Could you explain what her weaknesses are? I didn't see the whole match.
@@bramvalkenburg5655 mainly her serving and not coming to the net as much she’s been up a set and break so many times this year but can’t convert
@@bramvalkenburg5655 Her weakness is her mentality. She has the game to win most matches. That is why she continues to win the first set in many of her matches. If you go and watch some highlights. when she loses, 90% of the time she wins the first set, then loses the next two. Her game changes after the first set and with players who fight back harder when down, her competitiveness simply folds to those with greater will power.
Way to go Alexandra !!! you won because you played great…..
You can see how her demeanor and game approach changed when she got broken in the 3rd set. Its not normal for a 19 year old player with no expectations to have such an attitude... frankly i just think Emma is a bad loser.
The fame and ass kissing compliments all went to her head. She didn't have anyone telling her to be grounded and so this is the consequence.
I agree with some points but she as a lot expectations riding on her considering her win in the US
@@drdickenbalz Doesn't she have a tiger mum? Her mother is Chinese yes?

What type of bull shit answer is this? Clay court expose weakness. What low IQ you have. You should be ashamed to give such a sham answer. Emma Raducanu should first stick to one coach and that coach should be strict enough to check whether she is good form or in bad form. Her physio should check whether she was unfit and injured or fit to play Roland Garros French Open clay court. She should stick to 1 coach. I mean she looked unfit and injured in the second round. Instead to showing sympathy for her you guys criticise her by trolling her. Emma Raducanu is a talented tennis player with lots of potential but doesn't have temperament to perform match winning tennis skills. I think the media and her country people is overrated her gave endorsement and sponsorship deal. Media and her country people have just overhyped her. They should all leave her alone. The main reason she won US open grand slam was because she was a nobody that time and her coach was good. That time she was 100% fit and injured free plus she was in form of her life. Plus she had a good and tough coach. It's high time that Emma Raducanu boycotts ignores and avoids Endorsement and sponsorship deal and bans media. Emma Raducanu is going in Maria Sharapova and Noami Osaki way. The way is media, people and fans overrating Maria Sharapova and Noami Osaki the way physically they burn out. If Emma Raducanu wants to make a comeback in winning ways and become like Steffi Graf and Chris Evert is when she refuses endorsement and sponsorship deals. Why Iga Swateik is winning? Because she is sincerely concentrating on tennis that's all and she is 100% fit, injury free and in very good form. She has changed only first to second coach. That's all.
Emma needs to develop a stronger killer weapon to beat average players like Sasnovich regularly on clay. Right now, only her serve can get her cheap points, and that’s not enough. I watched the entire match and even though she squeezed out the first set, I tipped Sasnovitch to beat her over three cos she had no clue what to do when the balls from Sasnovitch kept coming back. Hardly any drop shots or net play to change things up. She prides herself as being able to sort things out by herself during a match - no evidence of that there. Wonder if she’ll say her mobility was affected by her back.
Lol her serve isn’t her only weapon. She wasn’t as aggressive as she should’ve been on some points and that put her on the backfoot, remember this is her first clay season so she’s learning all the time.
are you kidding? sasha is not a regular player, her ranking doesn't show her ability) it was obvious that sasha win, she more experienced and play with brain rather emotions, she just like a virus hacked Emma's serve and that means a lot in a game) it's tennis, someone has to lose
Emma is a good, solid player, nothing exceptional, and there's nothing wrong with that. Somehow, the planets aligned and she won USO. She's a top 100 player at the moment.
@@jjfutbol11 And she should. She's a top 60-70 player at best right now and if she gets first rounded in the US Open, she'd drop right down there and it'd accurately reflect her ability
I bet She won’t get any grand slam after the USO. Every player is stepping up in winning.
@@elaiatapit9800 She needs to quit tennis while she's ahead and go and do fashion or something. All this play in a hopeless manner and then blaming her ineptitude on injury is not doing her any favours.

95% of pro tennis players are no hit wonders so is your statement really an insult for a 19 year old?
One hit wonder ?.Well so with the French Open last year. She lost the first round.Raducanu won a Slam,How about Jabeur ?She won title Madrid Open but not a slam and lost first round. How about Fernandez?.She was finalist at US open and never won any title since.
@@josephinerabagorabago8328 Stop talking about this freaking US open all the time!!!!! Months have passed and she hasn't even one tine proved that she will be a star in the future even once!!!!
Congratulations. Unbelievable player
No wonder 2 average teen players reached the USO final. It wasn't so much about how lucky they were or how great their game is, it was more about all the veteran players being rusty after long lock downs, while the teenage girls were fresh and at their usual level. But when the true players of the game remove the rust, it's another story! Emma Raducanu is a top 200 player at best.
So didn't the average teen players also go into long lockdowns ?
@@robertmartin7594 probably... however their level, which hasn't been acquired through the same intense training regimen pros go through and equally intense tournament schedule, doesn't drop as much, because there's not as many levels to drop. So it's easier for them to get back to where they were and even improve upon it because they have tons of space for improvement. For the top players, a small change in their tournament schedule and training regimen can greatly effect their performance. The higher their level is, mentally, physically, once it drops, it takes a lot of time to get it all back. Look at anyone who took a break from the tour. Thiem is a good example, a potential RG winner losing in the first round to an unknown. Or the time it took Agassi having to play Challenger events before slowly building back his performance level to compete with the bests in the late 90s. Some are never able to regain their past performance level once they let it go.
@@jontakaki503 I have no answer, therefore i am not qualified to comment. Are you by any chance involved in the Medical profession in any way, shape or form ?
lol, Leylah Fernandez is into the quarterfinals of this tournament Jonny boy...'cause she has genuine fighting spirit (unlike Raducanu)
Congrats, Sasnovich! stay strong, keep pushing.
Emma's attitude when challenged is lackluster at best. When she's up, she is deadly. When she is struggling, she folds. Sasnovich just stayed with her until Emma imploded. Emma needs a coach. A real strategist to keep her focused and positive. Emma reacts too dramatically with each point. She has youth on her side.
@derek thank you! I like what you said about Leylah. I agree she is tougher mentally. She really fights without drama, just guts. If Emma starts being honest with herself, she'll start making better choices.
@derek Emma sucks...
Pretty solid analysis.Wonder how the parental units are prefiguring in all this ? Like many commenting, hoping some strong, wise coach sweeps in and clears out all the clutter..Emma can still do it.
Do you work for English media lol
She reaps what she sowed. She had a coach when she won the US open, is not it? What was her attitude toward that man ? After that grand slam victory she fired her coach to get to the next level. Really? When you are ungreatful things can turn around very quickly.
WOW! What a momentum shift!!
Successful players on tour try to form a good team around them and maintain it, Emma is doing the opposite, she thinks she knows everything and fires coaches after few months, she clearly needs a good strategist and coach but her arrogance has lead her here.
Adios, Emma...again
I can't find Coco, Leylah and Solaone's highlight @roland garros
If Raducanu had a coach he/she would have analysed why she lost to Sasnovic the first time and given her a game plan. But....no coach. Maybe when she is older and has the sense to ditch her father from her tennis that might change. Giorgi couldn't do that and it has limited her career.
congratulation Raducanu...! You will have more time for celeb show.-biz !!!!
As stated n becoming more reality. Last year's WTA US Open is once in a blue moon. However in WTA, anyone can beat anyone as there is no real true seeding consistency except a few.
Умница. Желаю пройти как можно дальше. Большой привет из Кыргызстана.
Can you post some Fernandez highlights? Merci
It’s time to accept the fact Emma Raducanu is a “movie star” masquerading as a “tennis player”. By that I mean it was her beauty and personality that made her a worldwide celebrity not becoming the first qualifier to win a Grand Slam in recorded tennis history. Iga Swiatek looks to be an all time great and she has nowhere near the global fame that Raducanu has. Why is that? Simple, while Swiatek is a pleasant enough looking young lady she has nowhere near the physical beauty of Raducanu. Iga is personable but by nature is somewhat shy while Emma is much more comfortable in the public eye. I believe it’s time for Raducanu to drop the pretense that she’s a professional athlete and just to focus her attention on being involved in some manner with the entertainment industry, instead.
While you have some good points it seems Emma's fan's and some fan's in general want emma to be the "perfect" player is there such a thing as a perfect player? no faults? Most of emma's fans also seem to be older viewers , I did not say OLD but most of the comments you can tell the age group. I barely see young fan' defend her or cheer her but I sure picked up on British Slang
It's interesting that you should compare Iga to Emma. While nobody is now disputing Iga's potential to be the next Serena given her unbeaten run now stretches to 31 matches,it shows you just what progress can be achieved in less than 1 year. Ok here's an interesting fact for you to chew over which most people seemed to have overlooked. Who defeated Iga at last year's US Open in R4 in straight sets(7-6,6-3)? It was Bencic. And who defeated Bencic in the QF in straight sets (6-3,6-4)? Well, none other than our Emma!😂 So I would give Emma another year, and then judge her perhaps?
@@eyeofthetiger6002 It's a completely different situation with Swiatek. Even when Swiatek lost in the previous season you could see her potential, dedication and hard work. You can't see that with Emma. That's why i'm 100% sure that Raducanu will never be a top player.
@@Lol-ej2uh so you don't think Emma has the same dedication and hard work based on what? Are you part of her team or are you just saying it based on what you see and read in the media? As Emma herself said her media work amounts to little more than a few hours a month and she would never compromise her training schedule because of media appearances.
@@eyeofthetiger6002 Well I can see how bad she plays. Iga never played that bad even when she lost. Either lack of talent or lack of hard work. In her situation I would say both.
Emma's story just like Ana Ivanovic, Anastasua Myskina, etc after their only 1 slam cup.
They're problem? Anna Kournikovaism, the disease of being too pretty, too young.
Can we now just admit that she got very very lucky with that US Open Championship.
Emma didn't get very very lucky at USO, the 10 much more experienced players that she beat were very very unlucky !!
EMMA got lucky in 10 matches at USO 2021 ?? I can understand a 'qualifier' getting lucky in 1 match, maybe 2, but getting lucky in 10 matches without dropping a set, not even having to play a tie break ??
I feel sorry for Raducanu. She will not over that one time wonder victory.
looks like you are the one that cant get over it. did you bet your whole $5 life savings against her at one point?
Don't be, she already has enough money to live one hundred lifetimes and besides she's having the time of her life in between tournaments, she's way more busy with her multiple sponsors than with training seriously. the only permanent trainer she has is her marketing agent :)
The one thing I like about Sasnovich is she has variety in her shot! Thank you for defeating this overrated player 😍
She needs time to do those ( slower courts). She struggles on faster courts. Hence her relatively low ranking.
@@rob4197 She'll be dumped out of SW19 early too with the ridiculous hype around her.

This is Iga's 4th year on the tour.
Covid impacted Emma’s game, she should of been on tour in 2020

@@andtothewestamerica And so what? You can see with a naked eye that Iga is talented and Raducanu is just a commercial star

Alot of people said in us open the two players into the final maybe their fluke and I don't believe that now I don't know. .because a lot of young players they're great , and if you want to beat them you have to be top of your game. By the way if you are practicing 4 to 6 hours a Day you will burn out.
im surprised she did not retire coz of injury. good job.
Radacanu won the US Grandslam after some great tennis and belief but not against the best players. She’s been sussed now. Everyone knows how to play her. She’s changing everything in the hope of getting back into winning ways. It’s not gonna happen..
Honestly dont understand whats happened to Emma. The level she produced at the US Open was insane and she looked unbeatable. Expected her to build on that but she has done nothing since. Maybe it was a mistake getting rid of her coach.
1) No one knew her game at the US Open, so it was easy to surprise people before they realised the best way to play her. Her game is no secret now. Coaches would have analysed videos and guided their charges on how to beat her, no more element of surprise. 2) She played freely by her own admission at the US Open and swung freely and just gave it a go with no pressure. Things are different now. Her every shot is being scrutinised and the pressure is on, even if she denies it. 3) The US Open last year played very fast with the courts and balls, and it suited her game to a T, faster than Indian Wells or any of the Florida hard courts. That’s why she also had a deep run at Wimbledon as grass plays fast too.
@@kenzone or maybe she was just really lucky in those games and won the tournament. Cosistency is not existing or improvement since then.
@@scout7060 what weapons tbh? She played on hard courts. Indian wells, miami, australian open, other hard courts, with no spetacular results. The only consistent player at this moment is Iga.
With nothing to lose, players look unbeatable at times.
It is simple; she is not that good!
I think Emma and Leyla are beginning to realise that at this level , you are as good as your next win , not your last one. It is hard growing up when you start out in the spot light. Sasnovich really did a number on her.
That’s true for Emma but Leylah didn’t start in the spotlight, she worked her way up from the bottom to where she is now over several years.
So glad to see Aliaksandra getting more confident!
I love to see Raducanu s losses after what he did with his last coach
Everything is wrong about Raducanu since fired the coach who helped her to win US Open.
Looks like Raducanu is a flash in the pan, like Genie "Back in the Bottle" Bouchard.
Emma has better fundamentals. She has the potential to improve a lot still.
It doesn't look like that, unless you have impossible standards that no one could possibly hope to match
Good game for Sasnovich. Emma need to focus on her own game and need not too worry about how her opponent doing. Therefore she would stay confidence eventhou her serve is broken.
Remind me how Raducanu won the US Open? Not even a shadow of that player
She won it by beating 10 much more experienced players without dropping a set !!
Tạm biệt Emma Hy vọng giải tiếp theo em sẽ đạt được thành công như em hằng mong ước Ilove you Emma ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳
Glad to see no retirement today,… Congrats to Sasnovich,…
I wouldn't write Emma off just yet. At 18 she can improve quite a lot physically and tactically; possibly her biggest hindrance will be her father. Currently she's about a 60-100 ranked type player.
How wonderful for lovely slender Sasno! She is a fine player, always gives her all, and so nice to see her gain a marquee win! Brava, Aliaksandra!!!
Emma is no longer a top player. She shouldn't have been seeded. She lost the match so easily. She didn't know how to lose it.
Молодец Шура!!! Умничка!!!
Raducanu is a one hit wonder. Don’t think she’ll ever win another grand slam after watching this performance. Looked like she gave up.
Watched the whole match. Sas was def strong and varied and smart but Emma dipped and started to wilt. She should watch Carlos’s match today how he fought and fought and came back. But he has much more talent. And I hated her 15 min bathroom break afte losing the second set. it should have been cited by the umpire. Seriously she was trying to hurt Sas’s momentum and it was a dirty trick. Sorry Emma sycophants no way to spin that bad tactic. And Emma is a fine player. She is just around 45-50 in the world. Maybe a tad higher and maybe a tad lower. Nothing wrong with that but she is not showing the consistent winning streak of the phenomenal teenagers like Stefi, Serena, Monica, Martina’s etc etc. She has lost 12 matches won 9. That isn’t the record of the next big thing. That is the record of someone who loses first or second round.
Maybe Emma had diarrhea?
That's a fair assessment. She frequently has these dips in the second set where she sits back, stops chasing and starts looping forehands, but she says it's not because she's tired. It must therefore be a mental thing which is one of the many reasons she definitely needs a full time coach right now. She needs to play with intensity all the time because it's when she's attacking she's at her best.
Can't believe this. She wiped the floor with every single contender of US open but now she is barely getting through round1, WTA is so unpredictable. Can't see that happening to Alcaraz.
Top 10 Emmas Wins according to her oponnents rank: 12 Bencic 18 Sakkari 41 Tormo 42 Vondrusova 45 Cirstea 49 Zhang 49 Martincova 50 Martincova 58 Van Uytanck 60 Kostyuk USO it was a great success and looks more and more like a huge fluke at the same time
Lol, she never played the real contender, what are you talking about
Most of the contenders were on Leylah's side of the draw at US Open, that's why
it was one off case - very odd case, which wont happen again. She isn't even getting to a round where her "abilities" would be challenged. Shes losing to barely someone famous in the tennis world
ye well check that alcaraz comment again...homie is fighting for his life lol
Emma needs to make many many improvements if she wants to challenge for GS again, forget the USO that was a fluke. First thing is to improve strength and cardio-gas, easily done if willing to spend the time on it.
congrats to Leylah she beat BENCIC who won a Gold medal at the Olympics you can add that to your list of accolades
I don’t like Emma but she beat her also at the US Open lol
Giant victory by Sasnovich. Well done!
*one slam wonder* Rightly said
The pressure at Wimbledon will be intense.
Just one slam (US 2021), humongous fame and branding, and then a quick depletion due to inconsistency (Australian Open 2R and now French Open 2R). She may be "just be 19," but she's gotta be consistent as she has to take advantage of these opportunities.
The killer shots that add up to win a match are just not there. Beaten by a better player - again.
Emma, EEEmmmaaaa, EEEEEEmmmmmmaaaaaaa, are you out there? Please practice hitting the ball side to side going deep, mid, and short. And stop hitting medium pace sitter ball back to the player--that is a feed me kill shot. Watch Iga Swiatek's strategic game. Do that.
Emma's way too defensive on clay, it works for her on hard court as she has the power n speed to counter attack, but Clay is a lot slower, her power is less of a weapon, and she hasn't developed enough variety of angled shots and variety of pace yet. She"ll get better depending on the clay court, but the French is notoriously slow, big bounce, and absolutely brutal stamina wise. Her best bet is to study how Sharapova adapted over years, and eventually reached multiple French finals and eventually Won. She's got years to adapt her game. Free hit before she decimates almost everybody on grass with her big serve, return, and speed! 🙏❤️
- -such much hype for Emma, more and more it's beginning to show that her US Open was a 'fluke'. As the say, "hitting one home run does make you a home run hitter.
Seems to be that Emma , winning that grand slam was a 1 off.
She's over hyped. She had an amazing US open run but has done nothing after. I could see if she made it to the quarters or the semis of these events but nothing but early exits.
She literally made the 4th round wimbeldon last year, 1 more round it would of been QF Wimbledon, W US Open. Let the girl breath
@@michaelnguyen4320 one more and it would have been a lot of stuff but it's not. We don't live in the would have been world.
She will never recover her form until she reinstates the coach she fired - got too cocky and is paying the price - the good Lord knows - 🙌
I think Emma has to go for intensive training with: A) Tony Nadal B) Gabe Jaramillo C) Nick Bollettiery D) Rick Massy You guys decide to see if she has better luck next time.
emma is a one hit wonder.
You know the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was getting people to believe he didn't exist !!
Look, RG, we dont want to watch the tournament in orange. We live on Earth, not Mars. Please remove orange filter in your broadcast.
Hahahahajaj
Expectations are too high for Radacanu. Her first year on tour comes immediately after a Grand Slam win. Angelique Kerber said life went crazy the year after her first major title and she couldn't hit a ball. Everyone wants a piece of you and it affects your game. Time will tell which Radacanu wants more... tennis titles or glamor.
neither - Wimbledon much more.
Sasnovich was the attacking player. Well done.
Emma continues sliding downhill...
She got a lot of work to do to prove she's not a One Slam Wonder.
She'll do nothing ever again but still be paraded on the BBC as a commenter in 15 years time billed as the US open winner, and they'll go on and on ad infinitum about her fluke win there.
one tournament wonder*
@@Plesnn yeah I personally think she first has to win other tournaments before even thinking of another slam
Gaston would be proud of those dropshots
It's truly a bad result for Emma's ranking and her title as a GS winner, but not that bad on consideration of her first time playing in RG.She has gifts, but needs time and effort to grow better and better.
Congrats Sasnovich! Wonderful job to eliminate one of the tournament's favorites. Next: Angelique Kerber
In what world Raducanu was tournament’s favourite?
...tournament's favorites?
@@ciarypowykonie3096 Oh really? Sorry I didn't know much about tennis. She won the US Open, so I thought she was a contender this time
@@ciarypowykonie3096 Honestly following the trend from the past few tournaments she was definitely not a contender
She has never been a contender in any tournaments....
Wow another big tournament fail, already lost within the beginning of the first week of a grand slam, like please if you’re gonna say that players like them, male or female are big future stars, don’t bother please to say that ever, what improvement have they showed us, clearly this here shows one of them not able to manage it through.
Now I'm wondering how she won open title ? She is losing to everyone even last game she also won after hard fight .. her stemina is looking down 😭.. hope she will come back with alot strength and good luck.. we will miss our champions smile in this tournament 🥺
Not another major from her.
Dear Emma, you are a good player, and has been luckier than most of other players. Thanks to God for that, just enjoy the match and keep smiling :)
What happened to Emma? She couldn’t run after 1st set, injury or out of gas with this young age? So disappointed to watch.
One hit wonder ol emma. No women could ever emulate the dominant force the Williams sister were. Don't know why people hold onto the string of hope that raducanu is going to get better.
Iga will be as dominant as the sisters. If she stays healthy. Emma is just on hit wonder, soon to be forgotten
Uhh did you say the same of players who’s had less than 12 months at the highest level? That comments a joke.
Agreed...and women's tennis is a bore🤣
Iga is the REAL deal...Emma is just a FLUKE. That's the real TRUTH.
Don't you mean the Williams brothers ?/
Did Raducanu start grunting? Was she recommended that by her agent, to make herself stand out more or be like Sharapova or Azarenka?
New ER wouldn’t go any further then the 1st round.
Emma will never win another major - but she will have lots of sponsors
Congrats to the winner! 🏆 Emma is doing fine. She just needs to increase her skills and continue to focus. Shs is young. She has plenty of time. Steady eddie the course. Thats the ticket.
😂🤣😂😅..overrated
This comment won't age well
@@manguy2000 maybe, maybe not. See you back here in 5 yrs?
She played very tentative just trying to get the ball back defensively and hoping for Sasnovich to make a mistake.
So you guys always show winner on thumbnail?
