Giving prophylactic antibiotics to a mom who had tested positive for Group B Strep is necessary since there is a high chance mom is positive again. This is all to protect baby from having a infection at time of delivery and the antibiotic used are super safe for mom and baby. I bet that by this time they explained that to you and I hope you had a positive experience and that you and baby are healthy 😊❤️
My baby was born via planned c-section at 37+4 and had a 4 week NICU stay, mostly due to feeding issues. The NICU nurses showed so much compassion and patience, and were with us every step of the way. They are such superheroes! It's wasn't easy but now she's turning one tomorrow and is doing amazing. Positive thoughts!
I went into labor at 34 weeks last week and had my daughter! My water broke while I was sleeping in the middle of the night, so I am fresh from all of the feelings you were walking through in this video! My baby is still in the NICU, so I’m so glad that you didn’t end up getting induced.
This vlog reminded me of 2014 KZhead the most, loved it. Feels like you’ve found yourself again in the journey of vlogging without the girls 🤍
I feel like a lot of moms don't talk about the postpartum stuff. More moms are talking about things like postpartum depression and anxiety and so on but I'm glad you share about the after care. I'm not a mom but I'm sure it's very helpful to women hear your experience and I image it makes people less alone and/or stressed.
So happy baby gets to stay put a little longer! Wishing you a calmer rest of your pregnancy ❤
I love watching you because you are so calm and chill about everything. You really seem to not be anxious or over worry you just let life go as it goes. I want to be more like that.
Oh gosh! Wishing you the best Aspyn ❤
Sending you much love no matter how many times us moms go through this, it always feels scary. You got this and rock every birth 🫶🏼
I delivered at 35 weeks, my sweet girl had no NICU time! Hoping for a safe arrival for baby sis, and you! Wishing you all the best, whatever is meant is what will be! Sending lots of love🫶🏻🤍
Wishing you all the best Aspyn love your vlogs ❤
Praying for you Aspyn! You are strong!
That was scary! Wishing you all the best Aspyn. Can't wait to meet the new little one.
I'm 35 weeks and 3 days and been having lots of contractions(4th baby here) so I have this feeling he's coming early too so watching this just had me so anxious for you! Glad it was a false alarm and hopefully baby girl will stay in at least a couple more weeks! ❤
Aspyn youre literally glowing this whole video!
I have a healthy 3 year old that was born at 29 weeks with 51 day nicu stay ❤ and twins born at 31 weeks with at 61 & 84 day nicu stay they are now a year old and healthy. The nicu team is amazing everything will be okay 💕
My first baby I started labor at 33w then bed rest she came at 36w and was born in tip top shape, praying that your family makes it to atleast 36weeks 💕
My sister just had her baby girl at 35 weeks and she is perfect and healthy! Sending you and baby girl the best
Congratulations on your new baby 🩷🩷 You are so strong!!!
Congrats on baby girl!
wishing u all the best, whatever it is it’s meant to be !!!! sending lots of love and hugs to u 🧸🫶🏻
I had my sweet boy at 32 weeks.. NICU was the worse but most humbling experience ever.. forever thankful for those NICU nurses & doctors, they’re truly God sent! Thank GOD they gave you a steroid shot.. my hospital completely disregarded me & my baby when I was in labor, didn’t give me anything to try & help his lungs or nothing so that alone is a huge help for your baby girl! She’s gonna be just fine!! You’re so strong, you’ve got this!
Wow you must be so brave to be there all by yourself ❤ much love to you
My baby boy was born 1/5/24 at 30 weeks and was in the NICU for 35 days he is finally home and doing great. This was my first child and was not expecting this experience but he had a mind of his own. Wishing you all the best 💜💜
This was me at 29 weeks and I cried through this remembering my experience. Thinking of you and baby girl 🥹
*congratulations* ✨💗
I had my son at 34 &3 due to severe preeclampsia. It literally happened overnight. I had perfect blood pressures the whole time and then I woke up from a nap and felt something was off so I took my blood pressure and it was 168/117 and thankfully I was already going in for an appt with my cardiologist and decided to just go in early to get it manually checked and it was 178/117 and they immediately sent me to the hospital and it was so scary bc he is my first and it all just happened so fast… I have ptsd from my birth but he was so worth it! He was healthy just needed a little more help breathing and was supposed to be in the NICU for 6 weeks and he busted out in 12 days 🥹 I spent 6 days in the hospital and it was so hard
Sending positive vibes to you and baby girl # 3 ❤❤❤
Hope you can make it a little longer with the baby. So excited for you and your family. ❤
That sounds like a wonderful hospital, Kaiser would never 😢
It’s so interesting seeing you about to have your third baby. My daughter is around the same age as your second baby. A few weeks apart. I’m no where near ready for another baby. But I love to see different experiences. I don’t think I’d ever have another baby. Your videos push me to think about it sometimes then my child destroys something and I change my mind back to not thanks. 😂😂😂
That’s really nice that your hospital supplies so much! When I had my first baby in Oct 2022, we had already taken the bags down to the car to leave and baby girl had her first blowout & the only clothing they had on Mother Baby was a 6 month shirt… so our baby went home in that, her diaper, and a hospital blanket 😅 Definitely a funny memory!
You look so so so gorgeous even in the hospital! That hair color suits you perfectly.
not even 5 minutes into the video i started crying 😂 i just love this family so much and it made me so said aspyn was by herself 😭🩵
Praying you can keep baby girl in! My first came at 34 weeks and was in the NICU. We didn’t have the best experience at the NICU. If you want, I have a video of my regrets with being a NICU parent. I know you’re very experienced with being a mama tho ❤
first here! I'm 26 weeks and the title of this vlog had me immediately anxious 😅❤ love your videos (pregnancy and non-pregnancy related!)
Get the Frida Mom Padcycles!! So worth it! Didn't have them with my first but loved them with my 2nd. ❤
Congratulations on your new baby.
Hoping you can make it a little longer with baby! So happy for you!my kids are always dressed comfy too.
The Frida mom undies are AMAZING
I had my son at 32 weeks. He was small. But fine. Sending prayers.
Congratulations girl
Watching someone scared and stressed is so sad! Sending love 🫶🏼❤️
I did the bougie baby thing for my first but I invested in all cotton clothes for my twins. 14 years later my twins are still in their cozy era and I couldn’t be happier. Clothing can cause kids excess stimulation that they can struggle with on top of life stimulation.
I had both my babies at 33 weeks! You will be fine 😊
Crazy to think I've been here since cove!!❤
Sending you good vibes for the rest of your pregnancy! As a mama of 2 NICU babies, I just wanted to share that I was so happy that I packed a robe and pjs in my hospital bag. Unfortunately, our NICU didn’t have the parents rooms attached and we had to walk through L&D to go see the babies in the NICU. I was able to wear my robe over my nursing bra & stretchy hospital provided underwear and then my pjs the next day! We also were able to stay in the hospital for 3 days since baby was going to be stay for even longer.
My waters broke at 25 weeks and baby was born at 32, spent 4 weeks in NICU. It wasn't easy but now she is 10 months and totally fine, almost feels like that didn't happen. Wishing you and baby all the best 🙏
I hope you are doing ok ❤
My son was born at 32 weeks and spent 3 weeks in the NICU. Placenta abruption, and severe preeclampsia. My doctor saved our lives.
You did test positive for that test a while back that says if you’ll go into labor early or not!! My mom had me at 35 weeks, my brother at 34 weeks my other brother at 30 weeks! You got this!!
Aspyn your hair looks so good and healthy and thicker!! What is your secret?
This hair color suits you bessssst, which is your natural color it makes your hair looks more healthier than the blond❤❤.
Sending all my love 🌸
How did I not realize this was baby number 3?! Am I crazy?! So glad this popped up on my feed, looking forward to watching y’all again!
I loved having a robe for NICU visits. The NICU may be on a different floor/wing. I needed to bring additional wear-around-the-hospital outfits.
Hey Aspyn ❤
All the best
I'm due tomorrow with our 7th baby.. I had all the other babies a couple weeks earlier than my due dates so this is so different! Every baby and every pregnancy is so so different!
I had my sweet boy at 36 weeks I had PROM preterm rupture of membranes which caused my waters to brake and 2 days later Fionn was born. He had a short stay in the NICU of 3 days due to jaundice and feeding issues but we got home after a Week and a bit 🫶🏼🫶🏼 thinking of you and your sweet girl xx
I had my 2nd baby at 34+6 on 23rd of December after going into labour early and I wasn't allowed to labour so he had to have an emergent evacuation lol. But he needed some help with his breathing and feeding and was in NICU for 12 days before coming home. The nurses were all amazing and I knew he was well looked after when I couldnt be there. Having another little one at home made it quite tricky and emotional, but it's not forever and they'll still feel like a newborn when they come home (I kept getting upset that I'd miss the 'newborn' days) x
I had my first son at 34 weeks, he weighed 6lbs and they said he'd have been a 9lb baby if hed stayed in full term. I had my daughter at 38 weeks and my last son at 36 weeks. Thankfully all were healthy. I cant wait to meet your new little princess and learn her name, shes going to be so precious! Speedy and safe delivery and much love from Wilsonville Oregon
That was scary, I’m glad you got to go home after! I don’t know why I’ve been having the feeling you’re going into labor early this pregnancy too, so it was a weird coincidence seeing the beginning of the vlog, but I’m glad everything is ok and soon enough you’ll have a healthy baby girl in your hands! 🥰
My second baby was born at 36 weeks and 30 weeks. My baby that was born at 30 weeks was in NICU for 6 days. Your baby will be ok!!
My baby is 8 months old and he was born at 35 weeks. I was in the hospital for a week (34th week) and I was not prepared. No hospital bag for anybody. It was a mess lol trust your instincts and be ok with how crazy and unpredicted it might be
This happened to me! I had a small poke at the top of the bag…I ended up going 40+3 days! Baby was perfectly healthy!
Ask your nurse or just check around the edge under the hospital bed bc sometimes the hospital beds have charging outlets built into them. 😊 Still can't believe it's almost that time. I feel like it was like a week ago you just announced the gender. Either way I know you all are excited and I'm sure Cove & Lola are both SUPER excited to meet their baby sister 🥰
Just seeing this video and I see it was 6 days ago BUT just wanted to comment that my water broke at 34 weeks with our second and ended having him at 35 weeks with no nicu time and he was so healthy
Biggest hospital pet peeve! When they do things but don’t inform you!
I delivered at 37 weeks and my daughter was fine! She came on her own
I delivered all 3 of my boys at 38w. My 3rd was 9 pounds and I had didn’t tear and healed SO fast! Hoping this for you!!
Clicked right away ☺️❤️
I wish you the best🫶🏼 My sister has gone through this twice and it’s tough having to be in the hospital for so long. I know this was very tough for my sister to go through having to wait for baby to come home and having the kids at home as well. I hope everything goes well and baby is good and healthy!
As a NICU nurse believe me you want that baby to stay in longer.
I delivered my second baby at 34 weeks. He’s thriving now at 2 years old
I had a scary experience at 26 weeks where we thought my daughter was gonna come early but thankfully they stopped it and then I was induced at 39 weeks. This kinda stuff is scary.
"Feeling like I need some therapy "- so funny same
My baby was born 31 weeks and 4 days he spent 6 weeks in the NICU he’s now a healthy but small 5 month old
@aspynovard where is your phone case from? I can’t find a good silicone case that uses pop sockets!!
Both my kids were 34 weekers (34 week 6 days and 34 weeks 0 days) one unplanned natural, one planned c section. Both had 6 week nicu stays
My water broke at 34 weeks and I gave birth to my son and he was born completely healthy!
I delivered my youngest at 34w due to severe preeclampsia. He spent 2 weeks in NICU
I delivered my son at 35 weeks. Two rounds of steroid shots for his lungs and No NICU. Good luck! 💗💗💗
I found out I had a condition called cholestasis, and was admitted and induced after just going in for an appointment , I was a couple days shy of 36 weeks and my baby didn’t spend any time in the NICU
Sending love and prayers to you and your fam!! Love you guys :)
I was only in for 24 hours as we came back at 10 cm & fully effaced lol. I only wore the hospital gown because everything was left in the car & it was go time lol.
I had my son at 34 weeks 2 days and he spent a month in the nicu and is now wearing almost 5t at 2.5 years old.
What brand is those bras and the nursing pumping bra??
I hated being on the antibiotics for so long it always totally destroyed my gut with a newborn
Best of luck when you do give birth!
Where are the Nursing bras from?!
My water broke at 29 weeks, baby ended up staying put until 36 weeks! No nicu time :)
❤❤❤
♡
Yay
❤❤
I went into early labor at 34 weeks but I had that chance early on my pregnancy I had gotten the steroid shot for baby’s lungs . Sending prayers no matter what it’s all going to be okay and the place you went to seems like they are very capable and on top of things 👍🏼
who does your nails? they look so good every time you get them done
where are the nursing bras from please x
Be prepared for this baby being smaller than your others. My third baby was 5 pounds.
