Biggest thing for little babes this age is learning how to eat!! They don’t coordinate their suck/swallow/breathe until about 36 weeks and they also develop their feeding cues around then also! I had both my babies premature (33 weeks & 28 weeks) and I totally relate to the dissociating! It’s like my mind and my body could not comprehend having them and that I wasn’t still pregnant. Also I had emergency c sections bc of preeclampsia so that could’ve contributed, but it’s still shocking I feel like regardless! Hoping you and baby are healthy & healing!
