The three EXACT mistakes that ruined the $20-million airport gold heist 🧱✈️
It took precisely one year, but I can finally tell you exactly how they did the baffling $22-million Toronto airport gold heist, who is accused of pulling it off, what happened to the loot, and the three stupid mistakes that ruined a flawless score. Let me tell you about it.
The Mob Reporter here with new details and exclusive revelations on the biggest ever gold heist in Canada, a job that ranks sixth on the list of all-time biggest gold robberies, and was a daring, big-ticket score of a lifetime that seemed destined to be another unsolved mystery.
And it might well have been, if it weren’t for two - no, three - seemingly small but significant slips that doomed it all, leading to a wave of arrests in Canada for the stolen gold case and more in the United States for a related plot - international gun-running.

I’ve got both ends covered.
Let’s break how they did the gold job, the accused, the investigation, and the simple mistakes the bandits made that led police to arrests for the gold heist and for gun running in Canada and in the United States.
The five arrested in Canada are: Parmpal Sidhu, 54, of Brampton, an Air Canada employee. He is charged with theft over $5,000 and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence; Amit Jalota, 40, from Oakville, charged with possession of property obtained by crime, theft over $5,000, and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence; Ammad Chaudhary, 43, from Georgetown, charged with accessory after the fact; Ali Raza, a 37-year-old jewelry store owner from Toronto, charged with possession of property obtained by crime; and Prasath Paramalingam, 35, from Brampton, charged with accessory after the fact.
The alleged driver, Durante King-Mclean, 25, from Brampton, is wanted in Canada but in custody of the United States.
Police are also searching for three more men, considered fugitives:
- Simran Preet Panesar, 31, from Brampton, who was an Air Canada employee at the time of the theft but resigned after the heist. He is wanted for theft over $5,000 and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence;
- Archit Grover, 36, from Brampton, who is considered a fugitive in Canada and the United States. In Canada he is wanted for theft over $5,000 and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence. In the U.S. he is accused of helping King-Mclean after his roadside arrest and hindering the investigation.
- Arsalan Chaudhary, 42, from Mississauga, wanted for theft over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime and conspiracy to commit and indictable offence.
Two people were arrested and charged in the United States: The alleged driver, Durante King-Mclean, and Jalisa Edwards, 25, from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Paramalingam and Grover are wanted in the United States in the gun case.

Trying to smuggle 65 guns after having just pulled off a $20 million heist? Jesus! Did it to himself.
Man's gotta "work" (it).
You just know he was paid peanuts in comparison to the rest of the gang.
@@Maxmulham and he did all the work because he's the one who drove the truck out of there. The truth is wth 65 illegal guns caught in the USA and if he has a criminal history he will get 30 years in the USA he's finished. He should have made that huge score and retired. Now his share of the gold is gone his freedom is gone. So basically he accomplished nothing
Come to think of it he was arrested in the USA they probably squeezed him for all the names of the people involved. How else would they have know all those people were involved. He definitely ratted them all out 100%
It's called greed and stupidity.
“The 5 arrested in Canada have already been released pending trial”. Our justice system is beyond embarrassing.
? "Released" so the Feds. can track to the REAL people behind this crime??
non violent crime that hasn't been proven.
Ok guys, now be nice and bring the car back before 10.
For a non violent crime that’s pretty standard. I’m sure there are conditions on the bail being granted, and the trial will most likely be quickly arranged as a Big Bank is involved. It’s a slam dunk case so these guys are screwed.
@@user-ld2fl7vv9g Just because it was nonviolent doesn't mean they shouldn't be denied bail. They have the means and opportunity to flee back to India, hence why it's a joke
A warehouseman on fixed wages living big and posting it online. Pure genius.
In Canada the punishment for stealing 20 million is the same as the punishment for stealing $5000
That's why it's better to go BIG .. rather than the small change (petty cash) .. because they have the same punishment.
So they got 20 million bucks and kept committing crime !! Dumb dumb dumb !!!
18 names to that 20 mil, not enough. Now if the waited for about a year to cash in the gold they would’ve made almost double
@@RCPDcap If they were smart, you'd think it would probably take at least that long to launder all of it.
This is the types of garbage Canada is letting into the country. Justine Trudeau's open door policy is a Free For All .
@@Dwigt_Rortugal: If they were smart they wouldn’t be heading to prison, lol.
Do you know what the term career criminal means?
Don't drive like a fool if you're doing crime
especially if you have an all year tan
Even in the 1920s , gangsters knew they should drive very carefully so they do not attraction police attention. He must have felt over confidence after he did the gold heist. Within US , they should have loaded the guns into a couple of strong box , labeled machine parts and ship it by regular trucks.
Exactly what I often explained to the crooks I'd stop and arrest. "You is racist!" "No, you've just got a tail light out, you're swerving, speeding and your registration has been suspended for 9 months."
Never break more than 1 law at a time 😂
The stop was likely pretextual. DEA does this all the time: they'll know about a shipment, flag a vehicle to law enforcement, and they in turn find a pretext to stop the car. The one reason the Feds don't put a BOLO themselves is they have a source they want to protect. In this case, it's likely one of the 18 guys on that list.
Pulled off a 20 million dollar heist and didn't get rid of the phone or truck...then tried to run guns instead of laying low for a bit. What a fool!
Just like in Goodfellas! Black guy forgets to rid of the truck!
They could have done anything they wanted, but they would still be caught. The guy left a fingerprint. Otherwise, how would a stop in PA will connect to the case? Besides, a cop cannot check the trunk of a car willy-nilly. There is more to this case than what is known publically.
@@ppen8359 Didn't he run away from a normal traffic stop? Any normal police officer would call that suspicious and searching the vehicle would be routine procedure at that point. After his arrest for fleeing, the police would have also ran his name through all databases where he would have been connected to the fingerprint the Canadian officials found. There's not a lot of hidden secret information in this regard.
Wrong he ran from the cops on the stop
How do you know he knew any details about the cargo? Someone probably just paid him to pickup, drive and dropoff. Then he later took the job to run the firearms. Criminals are pretty dumb in general though for doing crime. Get a job and work hard like everyone else.
So you get 20 million and decide to smuggle guns. You need to go to jail for stupidity.
All he received from the 20 millions was already gone buying drugs to get high, baby mamas outstanding child support, buying a fancy car, taking friends to exotic dancer bars....So, he needed some money to pay at least the gas for the fancy car.
he probably only made a couple hundred thousand from the heist. See the debt list @ 8:00 Id probably say as a driver max he made was $250k. or $300.
@@carlkuna4544 Don't forget all the Jordans and Yeezys.
😂 exactly
Guns were heavily regulated in Canada and then they banned them all together. And now Canada Post is refusing to ship the guns that people are turning into them through the mail back to the government. Canada is a joke. There are thousands of immigrants entering Canada who are then trying to flee over into New York. Their cops know it and they sit on their hands and do nothing. Slammed the border on Canada. Drugs that are being smuggled in are coming in through the Hells Angels and the Mafia that run everything up there. Canadian cops are weak. I'm living up there never again. To me I'd restrict everybody coming in from there. so bad that they're withholding certain criminal records of their citizens so they can leave and they want them out. The US just arrested someone that was wanted for the death of four immigrants at the border she was smuggling they froze to death. The Canadian cops knew who he was where he was but they refused to arrest him saying we hope he enters the US. Crimes against women and children happen up in Canada all the time because of a business that runs most of the **** sites. However Canadian police refused to file charges american Justice Department finally did in December. Best thing you can do for Canada is avoid going there and boycott them. And don't watch movies that are made and produce there start collapsing their system because it's so corrupt. Those that control the guns and control the cops up in Canada rule and they do it all the time at their period everybody knows it
Those are the faces not even a mother could love.
Indian Nationals acting Canadian!
Beautiful 🤩 love it
"Does your mother know what you do for a living?"
Diversity in action
I see some similarities with the guys you see driving around in Monaco with brand new Ferrari with supermodel on passenger seat.
I got more detail and accurate information on TMR than the Canadian press. Thanks.
Yes, on our msm they showed as guns being caught here in Canada.
Police catch, the justice system release. Canada in a nutshell.
It's the same in the US
The same as the US
You Canucks learned well from US. Sad.
And chances are because the Canadian government is famous for not gathering evidence according to the laws a lot of it will be thrown out. But make no mistake it was a Philadelphia cop and the ATF to solve this crime. The Canadian cops couldn't figure it out. Trucks that they were trying to follow through security footage once they realized it had gone missing vanished into the region of HALTOM. They have the worst most corrupt cops and all of Ontario. They couldn't investigate most of the rapes and other crimes. Yet the biggest gel in Ontario outside the prison is in milton. Built in and that part of Canada is home to the Mafia. The cops in Canada just had to drop charges against 19 people they were part of the Mafia the Italy wanted extradited because Canada illegally gathered information. The cops get paid very well in Canada. Hundred 1000 plus many of them. And in Ontario no matter how many times I screw up they'll never be fired so they'll keep their jobs forever until they retire no matter what. There's no incentive to actually solve crimes in Ontario.
That gold is likely long gone distributed internationally and people wearing new bling made from it. Now this begs a question, ordinary folks gets their water bottle or a travel size toothpaste confiscated during security screening at the airport yet these inside cons made a near flawless heist. What else maybe going on the inside, we will never know. Go figure.
I feel confident in saying this was not the first load to go missing from the warehouse.
The police doing all that melodramatic posing in front of flags like they did any serious work 😂
Toronto police or should I say "Keystone Cops" laughable.
they didn't recover even 10% of it and those people are out on bail, and the police are already bragging about it
Are you clear who releases criminals? That would be the judiciary my friend
and just how must work did you do ??? sound like a fellow criminal
anything to be on camera 😂😂
Pay attention to all the stolen cars the next few months in canada that will make it to Dubai due to all the flood damaged cars. It will be wild.

@@MathiasGreenwaldeIt's a well-documented fact that cars stolen in Canada end up in Ghana. Jeeps and Toyota 4WDs seem to be the most popular. Scammers and money launderers seem to be the biggest buyers when you consider they cost more than the average Ghanaian farmer makes in a lifetime.

Released pending the trial. Are you f'king kidding me. Well done Canada.
In Canada you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. A non violent theft over $5,000 carries a maximum sentence of ten years. Millions of Canadians love that they have rights.
Our Judiciary system looks like they are on the take ! They see how much Trudeau has gotten away with they figure we are much more intelligent that that POS PM let’s get our share of profits because this country is going to POT of shit !
It's mind-blowing that the driver would immediately risk snuggling guns after pulling off such a huge score at the airport! Although $430k is arguably worth the crime, it's not like he needed it considering he had enough gold and cash to last him a very long time.
Yes I hear gun lovers snuggle up to their arms at night.
Facts we aint be smart tho on God bro
Unlikely he got anywhere near 430K or any gold. If he'd have had or was expecting 430k there no way he would be planning to smuggle guns just a week later. He probably got paid a small amount to steal the truck, and then was given the gun smuggling job afterwards.
That`s what happens when you work with dumb and inexperienced criminals, like Durrante, but that last one, who was basically giving him self up by bragging on social media, he takes the cake lol Great video, thanx.
Shhh don't give them any hints. The most successful people in this world (doctors, lawyers, businessmen) know how to make obscene amounts of money legally, by working in protected industries with high barriers to entry.

Hope not!
How can you believe you are gonna get away with a crime if there are 18 other people involved..
They would've gotten away if it wasn't for that fingerprint. Without his fingerprint at the crime scene, Durante would have been booked only for gun smuggling.
Exactly, someone gonna be living large same as the Lufthansa heist.
Few years in prison, barely any of the money and gold recovered , sounds successful to me 🤷🏽♂️
They will get sued in the civil court. Any property that they have will be seized eventually. Their lives are over as even bankruptcy can't wipe out this type of judgement
yup. they didnt even use guns to steal the gold so no armed robbery. id say its a win

What about the $ 30 million Los Angeles area money Heists from Garda money storage facility? Hope you get that one soon.

I am sure 100% they will catch who did it. It's a matter of time. Remember Camera are allover.
They;ll also get busted. Has happened multiple times in the 90's, great FBI Files episodes on here about them. Always inside jobs, except the guys that were on top of the 18 wheeler truck, cut holes in the roof and were tossing bags of money on the side of the highway for a following vehicle, dont think they ever got caught. There was also a 30 million bank truck heist back then that got away too.
That one should be easily solved because they said only a few people even knew the money was going to be stored there. Obvious inside job. They'll get caught.

That gold is long gone and will never be seen again. The beautiful thing for those guys is the committed this crime in Canada so they won't get more than 3 years in prison. In my eyes it was worth it to steal 30 million and only get three years and be rich when there free. Good work gentleman
18 people on the two lists. They didn't get the sharp ones. And that Gold, yes, it's GONE. Like that Jamaican the Royal Mint hired who sent the money for a new home build.....in Jamaica. That not coming back , either, though the court DID "ask him nicely" as a Canadian would do.Not gonna happen.
We just going to be paying for it with some new airport improvement tax
@4pparatu5 life in Canada is 25 yrs before you can apply for parole.
It's funny, because if one believed all the conspiracy stuff that the world is secretly controlled by the banks, you'd think the people who perpetrated the gold heist would have been hanged, drawn, and quartered.
lol they ain’t gonna be rich when there free guy, you’re delusional
Of course it would somehow be linked to Dubai!
