If they are too busy celebrating finding this amount, they aren't going to pay attention to the suv(s) behind her loaded to the gills. cocaine is never shipped as cocaine hcl it's shipped as freebase because it's compacted into bricks that are actual rocks then you microwave it with some acid to turn it to hcl

it is because they know the statistics, which suggest that most of the time the drugs ARE there. Its more likely that finding no drugs means they FAILED to find the drugs, so no drugs is typically the underisable outcome as an officer.
US is already conpleted flooded. At this point these guys job is making a film. They definitely are not doing any damage to supply of drugs.

Here in California alone there were an estimated half a million (500,000) indigenous Native people inhabited there before Spanish arrived. Less than 5 % were hunter gatherers while overwhelming majority settled down and along oceans, rivers, creeks, lakes, waterways and grew agricultural stuff for food. After Spanish and Anglo conquest, after placing them in Rancheria/Reservation, less than 20,000 survived.
The amount of time, resources and tax payer money used to have zero impact on the availability of drugs on the streets is amazing.

The border search exception allows customs officers to search people and their belongings at the border without a warrant or probable cause. Same law applies to cargo and mail everything coming into the United States are subject to search so if they destroyed your item in a search you ain’t getting a dime but of course you can file a Tort Claims but only god knows if it’s going to get approved or not.
Cartels know everything won’t get through. But what does is still worth it
