@@NDSVM because at Leipzig they played with 2 strikers. So when Werner wasn't confident enough, he could pass to poulsen. Or basically he knew poulsen was always a backup plan. This gave him more freedom. Also, he wasn't used as a Winger in Leipzig. Werner himself even said that he feels better playing with a second striker so there's that. Still, guy was still good while used as a Winger. Got almost as much assists as Sancho (who was hyped af) last season.

@@NDSVM because at Leipzig they played with 2 strikers. So when Werner wasn't confident enough, he could pass to poulsen. Or basically he knew poulsen was always a backup plan. This gave him more freedom. Also, he wasn't used as a Winger in Leipzig. Werner himself even said that he feels better playing with a second striker so there's that. Still, guy was still good while used as a Winger. Got almost as much assists as Sancho (who was hyped af) last season.
