This might be THE BEST Max Holloway interview ever. He’s typically not as chill and talkative in his interviews. He’ll answer with the same answers and just goes through the motions. Because DJ and Max are friends, you could see how comfortable Max was and he really opened up! 🚂🚂💯🔥🐐

I met him when I was living in Hawaii. He's such a down to earth dude. He talked to me for a good 10 minutes. I was going through some personal shit at the time and he helped me out a lot just talking to me and giving me advice. Fighting aside, he's one of the best human beings in the sport.

Mr. Mighty, I didn't know who you were until about 1 year ago when I heard you praise Mirko Filipovic Cro Cops because I'm from Croatia, but when I saw your respect for our Icon and the world icon of MMA, I said who is this man and researched and got what see, you were a true fighter in my eyes as I saw you explain Cro Cop's hand and leg movements and the shorts are checkered because that is our national color at a seminar, you bought me in the same second to praise you wherever I go and I watch every Mighty video, kudos and my respect, if it means anything to you, we are a small country, less than 4 million people, and among them top athletes of all sports, and we are also known for warfare, as fighters, I guess it's in our blood!
