Well. The physically and mentally strongest in the art of combat / war took what they wanted first. So fighting at the end of the day, if it was all that was left; would be the be all and end all. Throughout evolution though the brains and brauns survived together because they required one another in order to survive; and so they worked in coalition. As today you can see this still very clearly, some countries work with other countries better for what suits their interests the best. Everything today that you can think of really all comes back around to, me beating you or you beating me. Whether In a free market, or running for congress or running for president or competing in business... it all comes back around to fighting to survive. if you stripped it all away.. those with the greatest weapons and strongest economy will survive. And if you then stripped weapons away and the economy away i.e. unarmed combat is all thats left. Thats the true grit of all survival whether fighting off a wild animal of someone else... the strongest and most skilled will win that. And then past that there's nothing else.
