This week at the chateau cottage, Tracy and Tony pop out to the DIY store so Terry and Ash take us on a little tour around the cottage and see how far it has all progressed, with a little help from Jonathan. The bathroom race is on between the chateau and cottage but with the bath and shower unit both now installed in the cottage, its looking good for them.

About us,
We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

  • Tony has done an amazing job on the cottage with all of the stairs, woodwork and finishing touches. He is so talented and knows so much about electricity and so much more. Tracey did a wonderful job on the bathroom walls and all of the tiling. What a great team!

  • Tracy's warm personality shines through in her furnishings in the house. The lovely timber beds upstairs, the comfortable chairs and the warm paint colours in the salon and lovely rugs all make for a very welcoming home. Well done. Now Terry and Ash a job for you....how about a nice terrace across the front of the cottage with a pergola over part of it with a wisteria for shade!! In your spare time perhaps💝

  • When I saw your video today, I came to think of one thing especially Jonathan could need, a "boot jack" as we call it in Denmark, where I live, it is very useful when you often have to take boots of !!
