On Ruben Dias - people are quick to under appreciate Dias because he hasn’t had an extraordinary season. City’s defense was notoriously bad until he showed up. He’s revolutionized our team into not only being dangerous going forward but being defensively solid as well. Dias has majorly contributed to City’s success for the past 4 seasons, let’s stop pretending like he’s sum bum especially coming from someone who supports Man United.
As of now he’s had a bigger impact than VVD but they won’t admit 3 prems A treble 2ucl finals appearance He pretty much revived Stones career

Aguero who has 184 prem goals, best goals per game ratio, most goals against Big 6, 5 pl, golden boot, most iconic moment and offered so much on the pitch almost lost to one amazing season by Suarez? City won the title that year to like this is the definition of underrated. Aguero had all of this guys scared when he was playing. The disrespect is mad.

Sergio Aguero continues to be the most underrated player. 5th all time scorer in Prem(more than Salah and Henry), with over 100 fewer games played than 3 of the other 4. Most Prem hattricks(12). 20+ goals in 6 out of 10 seasons. Golden Boot winner

Dias’ best performances have been in games when City didn’t dominate possession. The idea that he can’t do it in a non-possession team makes no sense
One of his best performances last season was against Bayern where we had less possession than them. This is spot on, he’s a natural defender, plays like cbs of the 90s, nesta comes to mind

The traditional 3 of Wijnaldum, Henderson, and Fabinho barely created any chances and covered a lot for Trent, would De Bruyne do the same thing? Probably not. It's rare you would see Pep play Rico Lewis behind De Bruyne instead of Walker for this reason

@ironheade22 292 games for City, to Trent's 302 games (all comps). Also, not that it's too relevant, but Trent almost has 4 times the G/A. We tend to still think of Trent as a kid with potential, but he's been a world-class right-back for years now.

He also is probably the best footballer as of technical ability out of everybody the prem has ever seen. And has a great catalog with Arsenal.

@@44nkk Thing with Adams is I really never saw him play so I was really close to leave him out all together. Kompany and Campbell was basically a 50/50. For Bergkamp skillwise he should be there like I said above. With this kind of 4-3-3 a ST/CF is only place at least for me I can put him. He didn't play on the wing and I just don't see him in that midfield role in this system. When you compare him to Suarez/Aguero they both are above him at least for me. If I'd have 4-4-2 or 4-1-2-1-2 Bergkamp would have been on bench XI. This is just my opinion, you can of course have your own. I'll gladly have some conversation

He scored the title securing goal in 3/4 leagues… (scored the header in 1-0 win over united in the agueroooo year but still) he marshalled the smelliest premier league winning backlines in league history. Outside of his last season, his partners have been borderline terrible for a title winning team. He scored in cup finals and won the league every year he was fully fit. He was seen as the best defending in the league for years without ever getting to have a proper partnership. Carrying the likes of Lescott, Otamendi, and Demichelis to titles. Joe Hart won the Golden Glove 4 times at City and it was mainly down to Kompany. Aguero's mins per goal is far beyond any player in the league who has played more than 100 games, enough said.
