I just ordered one, V2, TKL, UK layout, Red switch.. (Same as shown) :) I've stayed away from mechanical keyboards for years because they were too loud.. But found this at my local shop on display and I was amazed it was quieter than a membrane one I was going to buy.
got it for 30 bugs on ebay its awesome! it looks and sounds absolutely fire
Bought mine 4 days ago. Brilliantly silent, smooth, very precise. Lighting very clean looking and powerful enough. I really recommend buying. The overall quality is excellent.
are the purple ones clicky cuz i love the clicky keys and so i’ll definitely buy it
@@tyler7578 not sure about the clicky personally but i do know the reds are great and silent. obviously opposite of what youre going for but man it is smooth and quick. i do lots of mistypes but thats bc im personally coming back to pc gaming but daily job consists of typing 10 hours for 4 days a week. but work wise i use a membrane so thats why i mistype or mispress keys in games lol

A questiojn about this keyboard, does the English layout has the shift in the big version? or the whole keyboard comes with small shift keycaps?. Im asking because one of the reasons I will be choosing this keyboard over another, is the size of the shift keycap

Hi! I have a Huntsman v2 TKL and with a lot of research I saw that they have a chronic coil whine problem when the LEDs are static at 100% brightness, you can only hear this noise when I put my ear very close to the keyboard. Could you confirm if this happens to yours, please?
Let me double check mine but I certainly didn't notice it during my testing and day to day use (I have this keyboard on my gaming rig)
@@mashextra If you can check and get back to me with feedback, I would be grateful, because mine is still under warranty, and I need to confirm if it is something chronic with the huntsman v2 tkl, and a coil whine that is almost imperceptible if you don't put your ear close to the keyboard and with some static color other than white, in my case when I set the purple static color to 100%. I look forward to hearing from you, thank you!
questions: do the SW needs to be started in order to use RGB? And is the wrist rest magnetic?
you need the software for custom effects, with out it you just get the RGB cycling. And no, the wrist rest is unfortunately not magnetic :(

Nice review. Shame they don't offer a clicky option. Wish the Huntsman Mini included arrow switches on the 60% layout. My mouse is an Orchi v2 and it would have been nice to only need one dongle for keyboard/mouse. I game often on a small laptop tray in bed so I needed the smallest board possible. Went with the Air 60 by Nuphy instead with your discount code!
Uh they do offer a clicky option.
Is the red switch too quiet? Cuz I’m willing to buy it but I don’t want it to be too soft
it doesn't clatter like the click switch but you still get the bottoming out noise
i bought this keyboard, and it's really nice i have one slight problem tho, the rgb randomly just glitches and cuts off for like 2 secs and goes back to normal.
how often does it happen? could it be happening as synapse is loading?
I prefer the purples, the red are so silent

my son also prefers fire, I like the wave but it is too fast on Razer. that's one area where Alienware does it better, they have a slower Wave effect
I thought you could slow it down in synapse! must go check
@@mashextra you can slow it down in Chroma Studio in Synapse, but not when just using the quick effects
Just ruined my V2 with a drink spill. It was wonderful and I don't know how to replace it
when you say ruined it, is it not working or sticky switches?
@@mashextra it was making connections without the keys being pressed. I dried it further under a fan and it works normally now!
I ruined my black widow with drink spill…. No numbers or Fkeys work anymore :(

number pads are for squares!
I only used the numpad or inputting credit card info for buying games. I don't miss it
