You know what's funny? This trap was Beef's idea, Iskall was the one to make it, and Ren made sure it succeeded when the original plan failed. They all contributed to ending Demise.
I mean, Ren failed pretty much at everything except saying it was a puffer fish trap. 😆
@grondhero If Ren didn't have a reputation for failing everything this season, then Bdubs probably wouldn't have been lured into a false sense of security. So, in a way, Ren failing at everything leading up to the pufferfish line DID help the trap succeed

I watched ren's stream. His perspective looked so stealthy but you can just see his little head and failed jumps so easily from here. Oh dear...

it's kind of comical to think that as runner up prizes, bdubs and especially xb got the honors of literally getting nuked

But this kill was probably the cleanest! Outside of anything important. Nice contained explosion. XB's kill was hard to watch compared to this - half of the base gone, gigantic explosion - horrible!
The only people this crazy is Grian iskall and doc. Nobody else would do those kinds of things lol.

Yeah well, if Ren would not ignore his chat, they could have trapped the grass too and he would be already dead. A lot of people were mentioning this in his stream including me. I knew Bdubs would dig around the crafter. But all turned out good in the end. I don't understand why nobody tried to kill False hard enough though.
@@gwyneth6045 Games like this aren't really serious or competitive. They have no mechanism to balance out the attempts and even the challenge. Usually they end up just popularity contests. Note that the hermits who didn't have a 'leave your neighbours alone' unspoken rule all died really early. It's a good sign for the group that it was as balanced as it was. Also... Notice where on the map the last two survivors were living. Edge dwellers had a huge advantage. Not complaining though, as these guys clearly never meant it to be a serious competition, and never presented it as such (unlike Grian's life series, which I wish would just go away).

Iskall proved he was best at surviving demise in S6, and now he proves he is best at killing others in demise in S10!

The didn't get discovered. They purposely walked over to Bdubs to talk about the harming potion trap in order to lure him to the crafting bench where Ren was supposed to trigger it. And Beef accidentally mentioned TNT, but thankfully Bdubs didn't catch it.

I literally cried laughing. Oh bdubs. Only he could have had that comedic timing. Mumbo would be proud of ren's full circle incompetence moment. This was by far one of the funniest moments ever in hermitcraft history. "I'll test it..." Those words will go down in history!

this was so funny, i had a hard time breathing, and the build up of suspense. i was screaming at my monitor, "DOESN'T ANYONE HAVE FREECAM!! GO SPY ON HIM!" but it was worth the wait. what you really needed were some Spongebob time delay cards, "3 hours later..." "So much later that the old announcer quit and they had to get a new one" and Ren weaponizing incompetence, there is no way you will convince me THAT wasn't intentional! There's just something SO funny about how someone just goes flying sideways when they die in the explosion. It cracks me up every time. That was such a comedic way for Demise to end, but I don't think Hermitcraft could do it any other way. Props to the dedication to watch a guy mine for an hour just for this, the kill was definitely earned.
