Hi! You have a very cool fps monitor overlay scene! Do you share them? I totally understand if not!
ooooh I like your fps overlay setup really nice well done ! advanced users will notice most games are running with no hyperthtreading (only 1 every 2 core/thread sees usage by the game) most DX11 or older games can't manage more than 4c/8t and hate virtual threads (good example hunt showdown) this is why you see so many holes in cpu usage except for recent DX12 or Vulkan games (doom has perfect cpu usage probably why it runs so well on anything) I'm sad youtubers don't use borlderlands 3 (ingame vysnc unlocked NOT the benchmark which shows way less fps for some reason) it can run on DX11 and 12 showing the obvious advantage of 12

You can load any map, but you need to use one of the resource packs that allow raytracing as far as I remember

yes and no, read my comment above the truth..that for some reason youtubers and reviewers "forget" talking about (or they don't know and are all fake gamers) is that DX11 DX9 games don't even register modern cpus it was designed for 4 cores cpus not even 8 and actually since 8 cores were available, disabling hyperthreading (which you see in this video, the 1 out of 2 core usage games are skipping the virtual threads) and or using cpu affinity to limit your games to 4/8threads has been used by "real" gamers to fix stuttering (game jumping to random cores is not good it should keep talking to the same ones) I learned that in battlefield 3 when I got my 9900k and had massive fps drops and stutter back in the days that was 11 years ago, they have no excuse to not know that and include it in their benchmarks..some even have a comparable overlay than Jansn but are still blind to the problem when half their threads see 0% usage wth >

my 4090 is 80degrees in full load, but on silent bios... but 55 degrees is insane, did you limited the power target? my 4090 can take to 450 wats
Check the rtx 4090's curve of performance to watt ratio. The best one is at 270 watts. I undervolted the card and set exactly the same power limit I mentioned. Almost no difference (7-8% to be exact)
I DEFINITLEY wanna get/try this CPU/GPU combo whenever I get the chance. My 1080 TI/1800 X works BEAUTIFULLY so why not try it again with another? xD

AC Unity - 90avr fps Ac Odyssey - 100avr fps AC Valhalla - 110avr fps? I thought it should be vice versa Anvil Engine starts from Anvil Next 2.0 version performs strange - at your's Valhalla rtx 3070 test it was about 5% fps differance between 1080p and 1440p without cpu bottleneck. And now strange performance boost from 3090 to 4090(at rtx 3090 unity - 80avr;Odyssey - 70;Valhalla - 60. In most other games we see +100% fps boost)One of the worst game engines in terms of performance

i have same cpu and the cpu temperatures you are getting, its usually between 75-85 while gaming. are these normal!? i start to worry when it touches 85ish. is this how this cpu performs or what?
I get the same temps on mine. It's supposed to run VERY hot. Yours are actually pretty good. Cooler than mine.

Hmmm for the amount of money you're spending. I was just hoping something beyond 120fps mark, even with everything set to Ultra. Granted some of these games shown here is unoptimized. Right now, here in Canada, a 4090 is going about $2500cad!
You’re better off with a Ryzen 9 5900x and a GeForce 4070 ti both are reasonably priced and push fps nearly above 120 in most any game besides cyberpunk that game won’t be ready for anything that comes out until 2032

6000 mhz is the best profile for ryzen 7000. CPU memory controller is not able to handle higher frequencies. Take this and you are not gonna make a mistake

Is 850W enough for the 4090 with a high end CPU? Would it be enough for overclocking?
I have one and i recommend 1000wat or 1200
850W is enough for a 13700k or 7800X3D pair with a 4090. But for 13900k or 7950 3D you need higher than 800w

Why on earth would you run anything 1080p low with a system like this?
I have a 4080 and the same cpu, i can guarantee without even checking you will hit over 300-400 fps at 1080p with machines like these. You wouldnt be doing 1080p though, if you want this performance for just 1080p stay in the 3000 series gpu's for upgrades. 4000 series are top end 2-4/8k gaming. A 3060 at 1080p will run cs:go at both high and competitive frames. If you're debating a 4080+ gpu, you first NEED at least a 2k monitor, interest in recent titles, a need to view everything at maxxed everything (either for streaming or straight up vanity), and lastly you need a GOOD used car budget of cash that you can blow on such a rig... expect around 3 grand minimum if you want this kind of setup, and for it to be good. Also, you cant skimp out on cases. you need a big tower case with good airflow, and for this cpu you're definitely going to need an AIO cooler, and a 3 fan variant at that at its minimum (custom waterloops are best). Air coolers will not work for this cpu used here, it runs at 95c during normal use. So you can pay around 2800-3400 bucks for a decent top end build like i have or this guy has, or you can cough up 300-450 bucks and stick with a 3060 - 3070ti which is going to do for you what you really baseline need and actually want. If you want higher than that, but not much more price, then only option is to switch to AMD. you can get a radeon card that beats the utter crap out of the mid to upper 3000's gpu's while asking for far less than what Nvidia does for the level of performance. You'd just have to deal with the heavily lacking software interfaces from AMD lol. If you are willing to cough up cash just for a GPU now for around 800-900 and REALLLLLY want in the 4000's club you might actually want to consider a 4070 ti... You can get a 3080ti for around that price and the 4070 ti performs like a 3090 ti. You'd still need a good rig for it though, otherwise it would be kinda like putting a v12 engine on a go-cart, and you're still using a 1:3 ratio bicycle chain drive. Sure, you have 1600 horsepower. but that engine can only spin that bike chain so fast. without a proper transmission, you're loosing all those other gearing ratios for power and speed. You're locked to that 1:3 ratio. You'll never go faster even though you definitely have the horsepower to do so.

DLSS is not frame generation it's texture upscaling, AI frame generation is a completely different feature.
DLSS 3.0 adds the frame generatiion into the upscaling equation... just on New RTX 40 series. Not into fake frames myself, especially if it causes more input delay and artifacts on the screen.

They only got 180 FPS in Warzone ? They are weaker than I thought. I got 60 FPS with my rx 6500 xt for only 200$ I mean the RTX 4090 has only 300% more value but it doesn't costs 600$ I mean when a Graphics cars for 200$ makes 60 FPS, should a 400$ Graphics cars do 120 FPS in Warzone. We should see the Value of GPUs in Procent 50%=50%cost But I know there are games, that run better on amd graphics and there are games that run better on GeForce Graphics

This is native 4k not sub 1080p kid. 60fps at 4k on a 6500xt hahaha, what a joke. 6500xt gets sub 25 fps at native 4k ultra while the 4090 pushes 150+ fps. So 6 times more powerful in raw performance than your puny card.
