Also the fans are kind of meh for a high end productivity build, you would want Noctuas or Phanteks T30 in there to improve the noise situation.

  • Nice build. I am on the Meg Z790 Ace motherboard with the same Intel i9-14900k, and have used the Intel XTU app, but I still hit thermal throttling phases. The OC feature within the BIOS is off. All tuning is done by Intel XTU. Cooler is and MSI AIO 360. But, I have 4 inflow fans, 3 exhaust on the radiator for CPU system, and one exhaust in the back. You have more fans. Wonder if that makes the difference in cooling it better.

I almost got that one as I have seen everywhere that it’s excellent paired with 4090 for gaming. But I needed the intel for a little bit more. Build is almost done. I can’t decide on a mobo so that’s really the hold up for me at the moment.

The x670e gigabyte arous pro x which I think looks the best besides my motherboard which is the nzxt b650e or other gigabyte b650 motherboards and asus motherboards. Also the x670e steel legend. I would say if you want the extra features go with the x670e but if you dont need the extras go with a b650 or a b650e. I picked the b650e nzxt board because it is white and black and I only use my pc for gaming so it is more then enough for me. Oh I almost forgot welcome to the 4090 crew lol.
