Its not recommended to install tails or whonix
Why
this OS are meant to use on a virtual machine, so no fingerprint is left after using it. By installing it you are completely defying its purpose, especially for tails. which is meant to erase all data after every use. @@NBDTHUG
@@NBDTHUG The most secure recommendation is to use a live image (boot from a usb stick) that way no one can retrieve data/logs from your system. However, that does not mean that installing tails or whonix is insecure. It just means you need to consider your log data. If your goal is simply to remain anonymous for personal reasons, you should be fine. This is a bigger deal if you're worried about legal repercussions/leaving evidence behind, though.
