Hate the wheels, hate the rear end. I think the ford gt looks better, and it looks like the zora would fit almost perfectly inside the ford gt body and chassis. The front end looks like a ferrari. I wouldn't buy it if it was 50k, except that it's a thousand horsepower. I don't car if it's mid engine or not. I think mid engine is the most brilliant move that Chevy has ever made... 50 years too late. We could've had a mid-engine car competing with lamborghini, ferrari, and porsche 50 years ago. But, now they finally go to mid-engine and the ford mach e suv can just about run with it as an electric car. But, as far as combustion engine cars go, which I would rather have over electric, I love the c8 that chevy made, right now. For me it's perfect just like it is. I miss the old round tail lights that corvettes always had when I was growing up, but the new ones do fit very well. For the same price, I would take the current c8 z06 over the zora. The zora is too george jetson for me. And so is that grand national. For me, the romance of the internal combustion engine, non space age looking cars, and drag racing are gradually drifting away, and faster than I like to see.

If you have $200-$250k it would sticker at then add another $100-$200k for mark up so think $400k. I'm getting a $150k Z06 but thats my limit, not that I wouldn't do it if I could easily afford it.

Huge huge Corvette purest and enthusiast here. I think your conceptualized version is unbelievable and so cool that I would definitely buy one if I had the money! I understand that some won't like it and that's true of anything that is risk-taking. My father and I have owned and restored about a dozen Corvettes from every generation and we would both be super excited if something like this came to reality!!

I love how the Corvette has progressed over the years. I still have my 1966 Vette Roadster with both tops, AC, and the base 327 CI engine. I am the original and only owner and would love to see Chevy make a 2025 Zora as you have made in this video. Beautiful design, and it looks fast and mean!

Very well thought out design with attention to the details of fluidity of the angles and it appears to be truly slippery as it travels through the air with ease. The aerodynamics are futuristic and I think you nailed it.
That design is one of the best design look of any sport car I've ever seen for a sport car. I love the look of the car, the rims, the name, the color, and it for a Corvette. It's like wow!
Looks sexy... I would find a place to garage it. Even if that means building a garage to store it when not ripping up the pavement.
You can leave it in my garage rent free. Just leave the keys so I can crank it and keep the battery charged.
The concept is gorgeous, very exzotic looking. The mid engine Corvette was a brilliant move by GM.

@@friedfish4415 Exactly. I have no problem with GM making a supercar, but they should've started with a new model line and continue the legacy of the front engine Corvette. Not sure why it's hard for people to grasp that idea.

Corvette lover for my whole life. Back in the day , my uncle had an orange, 73 t top stingray. Love at first drive along. The new Vette is just the way it should be, conquering all that dare line up with it. You have a great platform here, keep the Chevy news coming. Thanks eh!
Your rendition is very good, it still retains the c8 dna 🧬 but brings forth the more exotic look of a over the top supercar, I especially like extremely low roof line and wide stance, the rear quarters have a somewhat look of what we see in other international exotics. I would like to see a 360 view of to get a better look of what it looks like from those different angles.

That design is extraordinary. On of the most beautiful designs I’ve ever seen. If asked to modify it, I would only tiny up the rear’s hips a bit. Just a little bit. Apart from that, I would change nothing. The look is masterfully developed. Bravo.

Very interesting and informative video and well done, too. As many have already said your rendering is wonderful! I think creating the ultimate Corvette with a price tag to match is fine. A halo Corvette iteration will only add interest and desirability to the current and near-term models to come.

You're on to something with that rendering, low, wide and aerodynamic with all that power, DANG!!!!! I'm one of those who wanted Chevy to make the Vette a mid-engine years ago (back in the 90's), the balance and weight (front/back) ratio on that vehicle is what it's all about.
When I first saw the rendering I thought it was a sneak preview of a future Corvette! I said to myself, "I would buy that in a heartbeat!" I love the Zora name too! I was so disappointed to discover Chevy didn't create this impressive design. They should pay you for it and build it! I suspect this could become this best seller ever! Well done sir!

Brian, I personally love the new mid-engine Corvette and subsequent developments like the Z06, altho I'm not too sure about the eRay, it is growing on me. I was at my local dealer for the C8 launch event, and when I asked the GM about the ZR1 version, he told me of the Zora configuration. I was blown away. Yes, I'd buy and drive a Zora, if for no other reason it will be rather unique and a head turner. Can't help being a little ostentatious with something truly beautiful!
At the age of 15 in 1972, the Corvette became my dream car. When I saw the mid engine experimental cars from the '60s, I’ve been wishing for a mid engine Corvette ever since. I'm very happy GM finally did it, just wish it had been done much sooner. 👍

Great review. Yep, mid-engine was the way to go. From all the C8 reviews I've read, the C8 is so much better than every prior generation is every way. I would buy a C8 in any variant over any other exotic if I could afford one. Just LOVE the C8 corvette.

I saw my first Corvette in August of 1964, it was a red convertible with a manual. Ever since then that is what I thought a Corvette should be. I have a 2016 Arctic White convertible with a 7 speed manual. Having said all that, I would by your rendering. You are correct, cars evolve and improve. My dream Corvette is a 1973 454, the dream still lives.

Great design, Your Zora is sharp, blade like.
Like your high front fenders. Brings in some of the C3 long nose feel. For styling, the top could do with some sharper edges.
