@TechLead interesting perspective about the restrictions on developers and restrictions in general. I would like to point out that corporations are now required to allow other market places such as play store and App Store and even developer made app stores. With this in mind from your personal expertise do you think the restrictions will still hold? As an idea we could start a movement called operation “jailbreak” enabling developers to make whatever they want within reason. This all looks as if Apple is just thinking of VR/AR in the Apple world, to be a similar platform to the META social apps that most users of the Oculus Headsets never use. The vast majority of users are gaming in VR/AR on PCVR and Oculus META headsets. I'm glad that Apple is entering the VR/AR market. Better late than never. I just get the feeling that Apple doesn't quite understand the current VR/AR market.

Thank you for the video, I found out that investing is not for everybody, you just need a strong stomach too see your portfolio go down. It might be wiser for a novice to start with copy trading investing, but it is not easy. To invest in growth stocks it is another level, definitely you need to know what are you doing.
From my own point of view, you need to invest smartly if you need the good things of life. so far i've made over $255k in raw profits from just 6 months into the market from my diversified portfolio strategy and i believe anyone can do it you have the right strategy, mutual funds takes long time but investing smartly is the key for short term. Most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest position in the market to the cost of proper diversification.
This is a phenomenal advice for a new stock traders and investors who want that quick short term game, but don't see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Yes, exactly. It's all programmatic and automated, plus it's relatively much easier to set up and connect my accounts than creating a financial plan and drafting investment strategies myself, my account just mirrors her trades in realtime.

It will be interesting to get to try out in real life. Kind of hard to say what it will feel like doing things in a 3-D space when we are all just looking at a flat screen to get a feel for what it will feel like doing things in the 3-D space.
The main use is multi screen like a monitor and VR pr0n. 3d objects are just stupid. Any game is 3d today. Just make the game "VR" supported then they are good to go.
Yes. This is a full computer not just for games. It probably could use a window manager like stage manager.

Absolutely want all your screens and applications in your goggles/glasses. Just imagine doing all your routines and having all your work with you too... Like I'm cooking in the kitchen. I have then recipe website, timers and videos etc at the kitchen counter. Then over at my kitchen table I also have my project for photos and browsing the web. I walk into the living room where my teenager is playing a game and maybe I join them for a round. The entire time wearing my goggles/glasses.

Need apps that harness the advantages 3d gives. Like having a puzzle in pieces on a table in front of you. And it shows you step by step where each goes. In other words i think the key is its real time interaction with the environment.
This is one of those big jumps I feel, like the mouse and the touch screen.

@@RabbitConfirmed agreed - but apple are masters at stealing other ideas and making them cool. Xerox created the mouse, and touch screens were around long before the iphone - they made them cool and did the right marketing.

With all the window managing, you have to remember you're using a desktop to control it. Ideally you'd be using the vision pro and the windows would just follow where your eyes are I guess. With your 2D desktop, you can only place a certain amount of windows but in the 3D vision pro, you'll be able to see many more windows as you look in all directions.

Yeah, but i still think that it would be kinda annoying to have so many windows around you instead of have one or two windows in the middle and some other windows hidden away with an alt tab or something. Idk maybe just me.

Watching this made me wonder if they could have allowed you to use your phone to play in the SDK too. Maybe provide some sort of VR "Cardboard" so you could actually try it. The camera arrangement on 15 Pro Max even has a layout that could technically support passthrough.

In the near future, this will be everything replace a laptop and ipad. All apps that works in 2d will be run in this, replacing 27" monitors or 15" notebook. All games in ipad can play in this with hand gesture / controller if you needed. Physical working table/room will be empty and then when use this goggle, every windows, 3d models and things will be placed on the space, ready to start to work again. Some app screen can share with other people (that be with you or even remote work) to working together, writeboard, presentation, web surfing. And it would be great If I can sit with avatar that has emotion (from face & eye tracking) with people I love while I am at office. : I know this will be good enough , I have experience with this type of technology before. For virtual keyboard and gesture is not entirely everything, I can have mouse/some type of controller and keyboard to use with this. One puzzle left to make this usable in real life is not entirely depends on the future app, because almost every app I need is already here in IOS, and it could be run in this (hopefully). The One puzzle left (for me) is how good the screen can be, how long I can be with it, will it be sharp enough to work with. I am one of VR users. For me, atleast. I know what I want from VR OS, and yes what Apple Vision Pro purpose is what I needed to be able to work with it.

depending on the resolution, it could replace monitors with floating windows using AR. that's the main use case i see for it. i also never liked the idea of different different apps for different systems

You can do all these better in Oculus Quest 2 today. And price is from $150 to $300 new. Quest 2 is just amazing.

google earth app would be sick, also 3d rendered objects, 3d rendered animated objects, vr bio domes... the real money maker is a fruit ninja type game. addictive

I wonder if they plan on allowing people to wear this headset while walking around because of that museum scene. They will have to either keep the screens opaque so we can see if something is behind it and not walk into it. Otherwise they'll need to have some sort of warning to stop the user from walking.

Hey TechLead, what computer monitor are you liking these days?
I get the sense that the real utility from this device will come from AR as opposed to VR. For example, a maps app that can actually make visualizations of the turns you have to make in your "real life" view. I don't believe that will become mainstream anytime soon given the price this thing has Going beyond that, walking around with a huge device in your head doesn't seem all that efficient; imagine running with it.

An app for deaf people where the camera reads the user's sign-language via the bottom facing camera and then puts the translated text across the front visor.
I don't have a MAC, just a Windows desktop so this would be great for me. I'd like the calendar open while looking at other apps that I need to know the dates and other information.
