Uncharted is one of the most iconic PlayStation franchises. A series that spawned six core installments and even hit the big screen in 2022. Uncharted is basically the first modern Playstation IP, debuting on PS3 in 2007 by creators Naughty Dog. Last year, I had covered all six main Uncharted games in a week-by-week retrospective. While I am still on break from uploading for the Month of January, I thought it would be logical to hold people over with a compilation of these videos if perhaps, you are new or just missed them the first time or want an easy way to rewatch them all. This video is for you, because it is all my Uncharted coverage in one spot.

A brief 2 hour review😂.
He probably prepared 5 hours 😂 Still extremely enjoyed his content 👍🏻
I mean 2 hours is pretty damn brief considering the amount of material
For 6 games tho I suppose 😂😂😂
Uncharted has got to be one of my favourite game franchises of all time, I love the gameplay, story, characters and music. I’m glad you made this video so I can get the definitive Uncharted retrospective
I actually forgot how important Nathan Drake was to me. My teenagehood was practically defined by that character. He was the guy I wanted to be when I grew up. The Last of Us may be ND’s critical darling but Uncharted was their claim to fame. I’m glad that they didn’t milk it to death.
We don't acknowledge that "film" with Tom Holland.
well just pretend that Uncharted fan film was the actual movie
Just found this channel and I want to say your videos are AMAZING. I have watched a lot of video game essay/analysis channels one of the things I hate is when they just basically summarize the game and I feel like alot of channels do 90% summarizing and 10% editorial/analysis. I feel like your videos have a better mix and whenever you summarize you also give your point of view. I don't want to listen to the summary of a game I alreayd have played or I could also read that much faster on wiki.
Who knew 2 HOURS is brief on a video of Dude Raider
Absolutely loved this review. Comprehensive, thorough, and I appreciate that you went long form for this phenomenal franchise that I’ve also been obsessed with since I was introduced to it as a teen on the PS3. Completely agree that it makes a developer / publisher a lot better to make a great series and close it when it’s been appropriately exhausted vs. watering it down and potentially ruining its legacy with an eternal string of unnecessary sequels. Thank you for all the effort you put into making this video!
I was so obsessed with this franchise growing up. All my friends knew it too, I was a very loud and influential kid in my friend group at the time. They would buy me clothing like Nathan Drakes for my birthday. One girl I knew bought me a ring necklace and scarf like he had in Uncharted 3. Anytime we were walking to school and we saw something yellow, they would all be like “Oh it’s the yellow bit, you got to climb it!” Getting home and playing Uncharted 2 multiplayer and I convinced all my guy friends to stop playing Call of Duty for a bit to try it out and they loved it. I remember when Uncharted 3 came out my mom wouldn’t take me to get it, so my neighbors mom let me use their high speed street bike to go to the mall and get it! People knew I loved Uncharted and everyone supported my fandom, was so funny!
I feel old watching this. I remember when the first game came out because i was in my teenage years then. And then the excitement of getting the new ones to experience the story.
Nathan Drake is a man of fortune, and he must seek his fortune.
A guy i went to college with was the face model for young Sam in Uncharted 4, and every time I play it, all I can see is AJ(the aforementioned guy) and it kills my immersion in that section big time.
was he your friend?
@@ordovicianscourge9520 we were more of acquaintances. We were both Theatre majors at a small school. So we had classes together, acted in stage plays together and went to the same parties, but I didn't actively hang out with him on a regular basis
That's hilarious. 😂
The Uncharted 2 multiplayer was really good, the third person shooting with vertical mobility and slow time to kill made it unique.
Uncharted 2 multiplayer was my favorite console multiplayer game other than Killzone 2. I loved the Temple map. As for the single player games go, Uncharted 1 is my favorite.
Uncharted 2 and 3 multiplayer will always have a special place in my heart. Uncharted 4 multiplayer will never touch it. I think my favorite uncharted 2 map is Tenzin's village
@@sydney229 That was a classic map. I remember I finally got my platinum off that map with the trophy where you had to throw the gas and blow up multiple dudes.
@@soysaucehairdye7869 hell yeah. I feel like they'll never be an experience like those games ever again. The death of multiplayer for certain games is honestly something to mourn. You can replay the games, but you can't recreate those experiences.
I just played the uncharted Nathan Drake and wow...i was completely blown away from the games definitely ready to play 4 and lost legacy.
It’s been years since I’ve played uncharted 1-3 I just purchased the remastered collection I can’t wait to replay them all again.
A brief two hour video, that’s my kind of review
Uncharted 2 is my favorite, that game was one of the first PS3 games i played and i loved every minute,Chloe is my favorite character in this franchise.
I love this series and I'm glad that it ended before it could be run into the ground. Uncharted 2 will always be one of my favorite games.
One of my favorite game series’ of all time
content for my armored core 6 100% journey 🎉🎉🎉
Im startting this brief review at work. Ill ve back with my thoughts
My favorites are Uncharted 4 and Golden Abyss, and i remember buying the Ps-Vita just for this game. I ended to have a tons of games on that console! But i prefered it over the 3DS, still do, sad it was ignored and mistreated by Sony..
Uncharted man. This franchise is everything.
I love your reviews...You sound very intelligent.
"A Brief Review of the Uncharted Games" 2 Hour Video.
I played one of these before. I think it was Uncharted 2? There was this part where I had to sneak past some guys on a train, so I thought I’d sneak past them on top of it.
Are you ever gonna talk about the Tak and the Power of Juju trilogy J? Would love to hear your thoughts on those platforming classics from the GameCube
2 hours of good content
O thank god this was a breaf review i thot maby this would be a cupol hours 😊.
Uncharted 4 multiplayer was so good back in the day
I wonder what your thoughts on the megaman battle network series are
If this is a brief history, the Martin Scorcese makes brief movies 😂
@jsreviews have you checked out the Mega Man X8 demake?
I know we don't really NEED it and I would be okay of we never got it...but I would LOVE an Uncharted 5 or something. I miss it! 😭
Still asking for a review of the halo trilogy( halo ce to 3), anima gate of memories the arcane edition, cassette beasts and hollow Knight. I am a persistent guy. I literally asked about this topic for like the last 10 videos straight.
No rise and fall, just an awesome franchise
Where are the quotions for brief 😂 Edit: I love these freaking games just bought the fourth game recently 😁
Bro I was seriously about to ask if it was the same uncle😂
I almost want to see if i can beat drakes fortune before the video could finish cuz i know it would be close
Can do the fry cry series next
"Sic Parvis Magna"
Please do all sniper elite games please they are very underrated please review sniper elite games
"Uncharted: Golden Abyss" is the only "Uncharted" game I haven't played, and it'll remain that way because the commercially failed PlayStation Vita just isn't worth it.
The Vita is alright but the game itself is crap. It runs like shit on the Vita and all the gimmicks are such a turn off. It’s a good showcase of the graphical capabilities of the Vita and it would have a good game had they not made it into a tech demo for the console. The feeling I get when playing it is that this game was rushed so that it could meet that launch window for the vita. Also the game tries too hard to be unique when all it really had to do was to be an uncharted game on a handheld.
Review sonic satam
Tryin to fill a completionist void.
You're definitely determined ngl
Why is it so short
I have uncharted 1-4. I only finished uncharted 2.
Comeback to me with a real video essay, over 10 hours....
Brief review of the Uncharted Franchise Length: 2 hrs 14 minutes XD
Nice irony in the title.
Really stretching that 10 min mark for revenue
Didn’t you already review all of these games? I don’t get it
He did. This is just a compilation of all his Uncharted reviews.
“Brief”
Fall?????
The movie was horrible, like why in the blue hell did they use that Spiderman guy for Nathan, didn't make any sense at all, and sully was Mark Wahlberg, they really fumbled the ball with that 🤧
and fall? when did Uncharted fall lol?
Ah yes. The Nathan drakes ass game
I will never understand why nd has 3 different versions of last of us and 2 different versions of last of us 2 but cant give us remakes of the ps3 uncharted games and how they teased us with the legacy of thieves collection which was just ports of the 4th game and the extended dlc that was the lost legacy i would love to see the other games get the mechanical and graphical enhancement that 4 had

I miss sly cooper and jak and daxter (the first one). I wish we had more games like those and not these playable movie games. They were great for a while but I’m burnt out on them and want just pure fun gameplay focused games now
If you want fun games, then Uncharted are pretty much the perfect examples of that.

U don't look how u sound😂
It would be more "brief" if you didn't twist yourself several times and if you didn't add in your personal tidbits about wanting to play Jak instead of even wanting to try Uncharted. Some of this is good and interesting, though.
