Dedicated to one of the most interesting players I have ever come across. A big thanks to everyone in my Discord who helped out with the investigation as it would not have been possible without you.

  • What i took away from this story is that Bing Soy is definitely an interesting and creative person. Thanks for documenting his enigmatic presence! I can't help but feel pride in contributing to this story in such a passive way - the fact that you guys were able to so consistently encounter Bing Soy and watch his antics is a big part of what makes community servers so essential to the spirit of TF2.

    • Well, you know, he could be saying about his personal life, not tf2. Many people feel very lonely and left alone, even with thousands people on the internet watching you. You don't need a million unknown people that will never help you, sometimes, you just need 1 good friend that will make your whole life easier.

  • I could be wrong, but the house from 23:40 actually makes me deeply reminded of the setting of inscription. All alone, just you and a strange man playing a card game. It could be off but having the loney wizard make an appearance later makes me wonder about it, as the whole game has a somber and sad vibe that bing soy seems too resonate with.

    • I personally interpret it as Bing Soy finding comfort in Tf2, a little hideaway where he can experiment and be himself. Then when he sees all the negativity, he feels lonely again, like the lonely wizard in inscription, which can also, like you said, tie back to Tf2 being a hideaway, but still a somber and decaying, and lonely, one.

"sticker" is not just elmaxo but majority of tf2 players recognizing bing soy and not playing with him, just watching him weird. THE MOST weird one is the stickest for me because I think elmaxo went TOO FAR with the discord , youtube and such. • As someone who has played Inscryption, the Lonely wizard is a character who obsesses over his mentor, constantly craving approval, but being punished or challenged by his mentor forcing him to live in a dimension with absolutely 0 stimuli of any kind till he kindof goes crazy. Ill let you figure out what that means for bing soy exactly, but thats a tl;dr on the character.

  • What an interesting personality! Bing's crypticness only makes it more interesting. I get this feeling that Bing has difficulty connecting to people and it makes me feel sad. • The lonely wizard from inscryption is a character who was isolated for a long time and who now craves any sort of stimulation to an extreme degree. Perhaps this reflects how Bing Sou feels: isolated, and wanting to feel a part of a community or game for a bit. Maybe driving off a boredom and monotony they feel in their own life. Idk

    @jonahbritton3657@jonahbritton36576 ай бұрын
    • To add to this, the lonely wizard when you obtain him as a card in inscryption has two major qualities; First is that he has an ability called "Clingy" that makes it so he will move from whatever space he occupies in the board to the closest vacant space he can possibly get to any cards the player deploys after him (to note that he does this automatically) And second that what he says when this ability is activated is "Hello, friend!" as his card art vibrates giddily. Knowing that, I'm 50/50 on whether or not he has a strong desire to make friends through the game through or despite his quirks OR that he might find the people tailing him clingy and feels jumped on. Bing Soy seems to hold the group in good regard though so I'm more inclined to the former.

Such as rocket jumping or ninjaneering Games should learn from making their games simple on the surface, and adding the depth to be more "discoverable". Modern games are too structured to allow for creativity

    • This world is rapidly passing away and I hope that you repent and take time to change before all out disaster occurs! Belief in messiah alone is not enough to grant you salvation - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36) if you believed in Messiah you would be following His commands as best as you could. If you are not a follower of Messiah I would highly recommend becoming one. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life - Revelation 3:20. Contemplate how the Roman Empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13 over the course of 1260+ years. Revelation 17 confirms that the beast is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years going back to Babylon and before, C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God. Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc. Have a blessed day!

Magnificus does painful things to his students as tests. Lonely Wizard's test was complete sensory deprivation. When he finally got out, He left Magnificus, and is in constant search for Stimulation. I don't know if this means anything, but maybe this helps. Bing Soy is great with illustration and has a great understanding of design, judging by the pixel art illustrations that conveyed Bing Soy's answers to the questions asked of Bing Soy.
