I was just playing a match last night with two medics that had the Kritskrieg, and I was a Heavy. They chose me as their vessel and so I would have several moments where I’d give them insane kill streaks. At the end of the game I thanked them as it was a lot of fun and they thanked me for the killstreaks. One of my favorite moments playing this game.
Now imagine getting pocketed by two medics, first one has normal medigun and Second has kritzkieg and they both activate their ubers at the same time. Absolute madness
Add another stock medigun medic and have him Uber the kritz one.

I once kritzed a F2P Demo, had to be like his 5th - 6th game. I never felt more enpowered and happy for doing it. That guy got 8 kill streak. Some tryhards with unusuals called him a hacker. 1:26 I know that the whole bit about the comp scene is more or less a throwaway, the kritzkrieg is actually occasionally used in comp in yet another risk/reward interaction, since uber advantage is everything - you get your uber more quickly than stock, but if you don't act on that advantage, the enemy's uber will absolutely destroy yours, as you mentioned.

Love the vid, elmaxo! One point: the casino (book) portion was difficult to read on mobile. I love listening to vids while I cook or work, and I also have difficulty reading small text, so narration would be amazing if you do this in the future. I thought the book part was really creative and reminded me of old video games.

22:20 my take on the amputator: makes you actually have self healing and, when you have a guarranteed pocket, other melees are more lackluster. However if you dont have a pocket it might be not worth using it because your pocket wont kill anyone making you and him die and making your escape impossible, in this situation its almost always better to do sporadic ubers which makes the ubersaw a little better because you can get a little more uber on random spies.

I love the Cuphead references here ^~^ I'm still fairly new and haven't been able to experiment with the kritzkrieg yet, but I really wanna now what it plays like to be the kritzkrieg pocket. As a heavy main that often feels like I'm doing little more than chip damage, I'm very interested in the triple damage and guaranted crits.

Blutsauger medic is a surprisingly good pick for kritzing because the blutsauger provides your pocket with even more healing than you do, almost like a quick fix uber if they are good at landing needles and dodge shots. Its like a mixture between kritzing a heavy and a scout.

As a medic main, the best source of dopamine you can ever get is having your team thank you for heals and/or thank you for a good push. Its also so satisfying watching your name go up in that 5 killstreak, wether you got the kills or not.

Underrated feeling with kritz is when you're playing casual pub and see a random player pop off. Same thing happens with Ubers too but I've noticed those hopeless 6 sniper/spy teams change classes to more frontline oriented ones.

Got kritzkrieg medic and got all the way to the enemy's spawn. Nice little 14 killstreak in about 30 seconds. Love it when something like that happens

it boils my blood the kunai was used as the first example as a risk vs reward when the deadringer and diamondback exist both cushioning that, not to mention the snowball effect outweighs the risk balancewise
god and the direct hit being the 2nd example, the skill of aiming is not the same as the skill of thinking ahead, positioning. the risk is at most what a sniper faces which is just missing. Which is minimal to none risk on average but can seem punishing in aggressive context
