Woodturning :Why make it complicated when you can make it simple😳

A very beautiful work created from a simple design and a manufacturing process accessible to beginners.
For the creation of this project I used ash wood and jatoba.
The finish is provided with carnauba wax.
It is in my carpentry workshop that I film some of my creations in a calm and relaxing ASMR type atmosphere without words or music, only lulled by the sound of machines and natural ambient noises, in order to share my ideas with you.
Although this project is accessible to beginners, it is necessary to know how to use woodworking machines in good condition in order to work safely.

Une très belle œuvre créée à partir d'une conception simple et d'un procédé de fabrication accessible aux débutants.

C'est dans mon atelier de menuiserie que je filme certaines de mes créations dans une ambiance calme et relaxante de type ASMR sans paroles ni musique, seulement bercée par le bruit des machines et les bruits ambiants naturels, afin de partager mes idées avec vous.
Bien que ce projet soit accessible aux débutants, il est nécessaire de savoir utiliser des machines à bois en bon état afin de travailler en toute sécurité.

Una bella obra basada en un diseño sencillo y un proceso de fabricación accesible a los principiantes.

Estoy filmando algunas de mis creaciones en mi taller de carpintería en un ambiente tranquilo y relajante al estilo ASMR, sin palabras ni música, sólo el sonido de las máquinas y el ruido ambiente natural, para poder compartir mis ideas contigo.
Para que este proyecto sea accesible a los principiantes, es necesario saber utilizar máquinas de madera en buenas condiciones para trabajar con seguridad.

  • Thank you Morgan. Not only is this a beautiful piece, I have just realised how good the music you composed for your intro and outro make me feel. Looking at your work has been bringing a smile to my face and joy to my heart for a while now but your music has been growing on me and now when I hear it I get a little tingle down the back of my neck because I know for ten minutes or so I can let go of my cares and lose myself watching a master create delight.   • Very good piece, the grain of the wood really stands out in the finished item. I thought it was going to be a Grecian urn at the start, which reminded me of a childhood joke about "How much does a Grecian urn (earn), about 10 Drachma a day", silly joke I know. Back to the art, the woods definitely compliment each other while still having contrast. The captive ring is a nice touch. As you said simple, but very effective result, thank you Morgan.   • Nicely done. You didnt show how you finished the inside of the ring. Have any tips? I always have a bit of a ragged separation which is not easy to sand. Thanks.
