Only a fireman could fall off a ladder at home clumsy sod! Thought you were heading for the greenhouse! Glad you're ok now mate. Next time either tether up or buddy up. Great head torch looks like a step up from my Petzl system for night fishing on the beach. Stay safe buddy.

Wow! You’re a lucky lad there mate….been missing your vlogs, I’m in hospital myself at the moment so I’m glad your back…just had my prostate removed so just a piece of advice from me mate, please get your PSA levels checked, it could save your life, I live in France and they do it as a matter of course during a well man clinic when you hit 50… I’m 64 so not sure how long this cancer has been there. Anyway, great looking torch that, gonna give it a whirl as I’ve got nature cams out in my local woods, well I will have when I get out of here… Once again a great video mate, just about to watch your next one.
I came off a ladder in 1971 when we were installing an overhead crane at a new Michelin Tyre factory near Dundee. Spent all August in The DRI plus 8 months off work. Totally changed my life and now really suffering with the ankle. You get over confident. Take care Simon.

Im resting an eye injury myself playing crasy golf with the kids a few week ago and got a golf club in the eye thankfully just bruised the eye ball should be back to normal next week !! Bloody hell Simon, that fall looked really bad and could’ve ended up much worse but thankfully you got away with that one and you’re okay apart from the aches and pains you suffered I’m sure. Olight make some great torches and the one in your video looks to be very versatile - I like how you can use it as a hand torch or head torch. I bought a miniature Olight about 5 years ago and we were away in our caravan down south. One evening I walked to the pub for a few pints as you do and the country road had trees either side and they formed over the road like a tunnel. I put the little Olight on and it was that bright I swear if there had been any owls in the the top of the trees, they would have been blinded 😏

You were quite lucky there, looking at the footage with your leg through the rung and the edge of that spade so close to you it could have been so, so, so much worse! Glad you've got through it but there will be mental scares for a while. Carry on the good work with the camera and if you can afford it then get a pro to go up the ladders, I know it pains folk like you and me to pay someone to do something we reckon we can do ourselves but that was when we were younger, now we're old farts we have to slow it down a bit🤕
