Well, we finally did it! We've been busy over the last few weeks preparing to move to our new home.
Regular viewers will know that we have been in the process of upping sticks and flitting to the countryside. For a wildlife photographer this has always been a dream of mine and we found a fantastic place in the stunning county of Powys. Come along and I'll take you on a little tour of the place and tell you a few plans that we have for the future.

Idyllic and you enthusiasm for the place and the projects are clear to see. If you can harness a few Watts from the brook, grow and harvest your own firewood then watch those energy bills go down. .

I know a fellow from Wales. Flew over here every September to hunt squirrels with us Shawnee squirrel hunters. A few years ago he moved to New Zealand but he still flies over here in September to camp and hunt squirrels with us. Someone picks him up at the airport and we loan him in .22 rifle to hunt with while he is in camp. Anyway, I'm guessing you would be a fine fellow to camp and hunt with, Simon. I'm excited to see what adventures you bring to us from your new home in Wales.

We enjoy your wildlife videos 👍Lovely area Powys might not be Scotland lol But don't Under estimate the wildlife diversity of Wales. We bought a Small Woodland only 1.4 Acres in Powys but the amount of wildlife we have captured on trail cam is amazing ! Sparrow Hawks ,Buzzards, Tawny Owls, Kite, Jay, Pied Flycatchers, fox, badger, hedgehog & polecat the list goes on!! Only the other day a Neighbouring woodland owner reckoned he spotted a black panther in the farmers field recording it on his phone. Though a bit sceptical about this you never know what you will see next. Unlike you though Simon we still live in England and have to Travel to our wood so the trail cam is our main way of capturing wildlife when not at the wood for a mini holiday. Hi Simon Yeah we have had our wood 3 years now and starting to sort things out up there. We have Planted many new hedgerow Trees over the last two years along our trackside & fence boundary. Installed a small shooting range for my Air rifle. This year hoping to install a small Storage shed and log store. then we want to put in some hides to watch the wildlife. We enjoy your videos and get many tips & Ideas from watching them. We bought the Nitehawk Hides after watching your review on them and have used them when filming Marsh tits in a Nature Reserve wood in Gloucestershire. Simon, best of luck to you and yours, well done on making the move, you won't regret moving to Wales, we love your videos, and now its going to be so much better for you, in the long run...a lot of work ahead but once you're sorted the options grow and grow....forget about going to your "permissions" to put up a hide etc, it's literally on your doorstep now......how about some hides to rent out half days to fellow photographers, especially for kites and goshawks....you may even bring in red squirrels....but let's not get too far ahead eh?....you need to finish emptying those boxes ...👍

Think I'm just about excited as you Simon,only found your channel last week and already watched lots of your videos,keep showing wife bits of them saying things like this blokes double of me,I'm in my camo most of the time, I own 5.5acre field bought it's 16 years ago it's was just grass then now I call it a nature reserve after planting thousands of tree and hedge rows,putting boxes up just hoping but never believing I would get barn owls or kestrel in them,low and behold kestrel came first then to my absolute delight came Barn owl,both pumping out chicks for years now, I'm glued to your adventure,keep it coming Paul
