In this update sneak peek, I'm going to show the 3 new gears coming to the game for pets, amber, and eve! We're going to cover update balance changes for Shelly & Edgar, as well as a rework for Meg. I'm going to reveal all of the new skin animations, gem costs, and bling costs for each of the skins. I'll also explain whether you should spend star points before the update, or wait until star points are converted to bling

But i think they need to make a change so you can get any skin of any rarity and also time limited ones to fit with the catalog but I don’t see why we can’t use bling on the top rarity skins
Edgar's skin seems to be inspired by the DC superhero "Nightwing" (He was the first Robin, Batman's Robin I mean, who then decided to become a superhero of his own and not be Batman's sidekick anymore)

This might be an OP suggestion But a future gear I can see happening would be an Epic Gear that affects all healers/support brawlers. Like a buff to their healing similar to how the pet gear affects Tara’s healing shade
What you think will be there legendary gears?

Rather than a healing buff, it should be a buff to something adjacent to healing. Like maybe charging super as Maega suggested
Not really I mean only Byron is affected by the damage gear when it increases his heals I’d like this change too it would definitely help healers especially with crow and bea running the meta atm
That epic gear is gonna make all the spawners way more scary in heist. 20% is a pretty big buff.
And tara is getting a very nice buff too.

Hey Kairos, at the trophy reset spreadsheet (5:12) the old bling at 36 brawlers is miscalculated as being half of what it should be, just an observation. The update looks awesome! Edit: My bad, it's bling per month, so the bling from the trophy reset at 2 months is being halved for the calculation

The hotdog showdown mode is essentially a refined version of graveyard shift in my opinion, it isn’t as difficult as graveyard can be, but it helps to stop the problem of teaming, definitely should get more people to play showdown, which I will be pleased to see as a showdown player, hope they make it a permanent separate mode from normal showdown.
Now clowns 🤡 can't farm supers on each other.

I love the PL upgrade, however I think the skins should have their own rarity and be 2500 like previous. This update means even with masters you don’t get enough from PL to buy the skin

Since the conversion rate of SP to bling is 10:1 and the price of PL skins is 25K SP, that would mean they should cost 2500 bling. However they cost double the amount (5000 bling). So the conversion of SP to Bling should be 5:1 so that 25K SP will be equivalent to 5000 bling and so we can buy the skin with the same amount as before.

Night Mecha crow and white mecha bo are 10x value right now, since they cost 10k star points or 1k bling which is equal to a 29 gem skin, and they will be locked behind their 299 gem skin after the update, so I suggest everyone to buy those before the update (if they can, of course)

I could see that in maybe a year all skins no matter if they were time limited just so the people with tons of bling after the update and also increase the cap to about 10k or whatever so even legendary skins are eventually available

That's good that there doing a bigger balance change later but I think every 2 weeks reset is short of annoying like yeah only the top 20 brawlers but you have to be on often even as a casual.
The only things I'm mad about is that trophy league is being shortened to 2 weeks, and not only that but they made us lose more trophies from it. The other thing is that they made us lose more power league ranks. Bling and cosmetics are good, but I wish they didn't hurt us and our progression with trophy league and power league changes. I don't understand their reasoning for those changes. All I can see is that it's bad for most players. Also, it would be cool if being helped progression, like how we used to be able to use star points to but boxes.

Kairos i have a question that i think you didn't mention in the video. When you said that eve's mythic gear will add 1 hatchling to all her abilities does this mean that even the first gadget and the second star power will spawn an extra hatchling?
I like the bling change but on the chromatic brawler part, I think they need to make chroma credits and regular brawler credits the same, then to maintain exclusivity for brawl pass buyers just make it so you get the new brawler on tier 1 of the premium pass, but can't unlock it 30/35 of the free pass
I think the new update is great for F2P players who like cosmetics, back then they rarely got cool expensive skins, now they can get them easier, the Mecha Crow and Bo skins for Star points are a must buy before ore the update , bling is a great feature

I'm not sure about Meg rework. I liked the strategic aspect of her health decay weakness that forced you to make smart decisions. Now you just need to land a few shots and then spam people. You also literally have 2 lives from the start and can abuse healing. Pretty mindless play style imo. The only skill based thing you need to do now is know when to fall back. Wouldn't be surprised if she ends up getting reverted due to being too strong.
Hmm... the changes are all pretty good, but I'm on the fence about the poison gas one. A useful strat to use is to ultilize your health advantage and circle wall in knockout / showdown to secure a victory. This might just make more draws in the game. Not sure why they added a cap to bling though. 7000 is a pretty low amount. (Highest price is 5000) They are basically forcing you to spend them, instead of being able to save for a future skin that you might want. Also, my friend has about 300k star points, which is about 30k blings. But he has also purchase all the skins / pin packs in the past. Even if he buys everything he could buy in the catalog, I can't see him going below 7000 blings, which mean he can't earn anything and can't buy anything... What would those excess bling become then?

Interesting think about the Edgar buff is that Fang can no longer kill him in 2 shots. Now you just can't do the ' GADGET+ATTACK+ATTACK ' or ' ATTACK + GADGET+ ATTACK' combo to kill Edgar. Also Gus, Penny, Sprout, Nita, Gene and Crow ( without poison damage) can no longer three shot him. Bibi can't two shot him which is almost completely going to change this interaction.
Well, I do have more than 36 brawlers above 500 trophies, but most of them I'll probably never play again unless I somehow have Gold III with all my mains and Silver III with all the ones I'm actually good at.
I had a concept for Shelly that upgrading her to level 8,9,10, and 11 would make her attack slightly more narrow and increase its range so that she would be playable in higher trophies. Kind of like Gus and how his healing scales up with him upgrading
I haven't played BS for 1,5 years but that change is very dumb because It's gonna change her core mechanics, let alone make her already almost op 2nd gadget to a game breaking state

How about giving a short dash to her super She will dash forward and then blast in front of her or to nearby target She will stop the dash if she hit an enemy while dashing Nerf her super recharge from 1 super 1 attack to 1 super 2 attack Change her first gadget when you activate it shelly will stop reloading and her next attack unload all avalable ammo at once

Question since you said the max cap was 7k bling at a time and after the update you’ll receive the conversion of star points being able to go above the max cap does that effect the trophy reset? For example will u get more bling or no?
I really hope the added 1920 credits and 1000 chroma credits are also available for people who already went past 10k trophies. i've been playing for like 3 month and unlocking brawlers were painfully slow. I grinded my ass off too for the slight progression boost. But I'd be pretty pissed if i missed out on all 2 chromatic brawlers just cuz i grinded the game. I rlly need the resources, it's so painful only getting 1 new chromatic brawler every 60 days and you have to unlock in order too

Yeah idk if it would be op but could be ‘heat seeking’ so it will dash right towards the enemy. But maybe they will make her slower while dashing or make the range shorter

Actually I think Zeus Brock is more worth it Cause it can actually give an advantage (maybe)cause the super you can not predict (if you don't know he actually fires 9 rockets means in one space only one rockeet will land instead of excluding the star power)you can predict but it is a lot bit harder to spot cause the lighting

dude before you would get 6 pins and a 79-149 gem skin (tier 1) in the brawl pass, now you get the equivalent of a 79 gem skin plus 1600 bling (only on the paid side) which is equivalent to 3 pins. Brawl pass was nerfed.
I have a doubt that I think wasn't covered on the video. At the end of this trophy season, the reset would be the actual one or the new version of it that would be in the game with this update? Just to know if this last week we should push every brawler we can to 500 and then push them more equally or just focus right away at our top 20 to get the most bling possible out of this season. When I first saw the brawlers, I thought they weren’t not unique at all. But now the more I think about it they are pretty unique. It’s hard to hit Maisie’s shots closed ranged and her super is kinda like a gale super but it looks more fun. Hank’s main attack is also unique as you have to charge it (And he technically has no ammo) his super is still very basic though

I still personally think the chromatic prices are too high one of the main points of removing boxes was to help new players not have to grind as much but if you are saying that people can just barely get to 1250 if they grind every day that is only 1.5 brawlers every 3-ish months (because a new brawler is added every season) and for a new player and with more and more chromatic brawlers coming out I think it is super unrealistic
There should be a new epic gear called "Heal gear" for all healers, such as poco, pam and byron Here's an idea: Healing increased by 40% (could be too op for byron as he can now get a 90% heal buff with damage and heal buff, same with poco da capo being viable) While healing, charge super at 5% per 0.5s You can now heal while attacking, but you must not take damage Heal 5% of max HP per attack and 50% of current HP per super.

The one thing that’s sad for me is that this season is the first time I would hit 25k star points for a power league skin, but now I’ll only be halfway there. It’ll be better over time but I just feel a big pit in my excitement in the short term.

question: if i have 100,000 star points before the update, which converts to 10000 blings that exceeds 7000 max, will the power league reward still be earn-able after the update? a bit concerned whether to spend it rn, but most the skins left are not quite worth it

Hello Kairos, I was just wonering - when starr road was first introduced, everyone's first legendary was 50 percent off. Will this change also happen withe the first epic/mythic? I'm just trying to calculate right now how I'm going to use my credits for Hank.
I'm glad they making bling an easy resource and we need to be able to get tons of it more easily as we have now 68 brawlers and I personally want at least each one of them to have a cool skin
I dont understand why they keep giving brawlers who already have so many skins more skins, for example colt, he already has so many.
I really wish they didn't change bounty it's the game where you're supposed to go out and just get a ton of kills was really good for things like damage and kill quest And personally I think mapmaker Bounty is extremely fun

What do those PL missions mean by "win 1/2 rounds"? I only touched PL once and never saw that wording before. Also, where the heck is Virus 8-Bit on the legendary skin list?! The skin cost 299 gems just like the other "legendary" skins!
Frank said active players will be able to afford 8 149 gem skins per year and these cost 5000 Bling. Power League skins cost 5000 Bling too and we have like around 6 seasons each with their own Power League skin.
As a piper main I want her to get an epic or mythic gear but I don’t know what they honestly could do considering piper might be the most balanced brawler in the game. If it were anything with her super it’d be bad because it might be the most useless in the game so the only thing I can think of is extra range or a bigger projectile because anything with reload speed would make snappy sniping redundant and it’s kind of piper’s thing to have the slowest reload speed in the game

I have tones of 1k brawlers at the moment and knowing they will just drop to 999 makes me feel so good I have been waiting for this for so long ,just imagine putting so much hours into pushing a brawler pass 1k only for it to drop under 950💀😭 I am very scare for Meg rework I don’t think it was needed but the nerfs to her mech are huge
What is that brown thing in the bottom right-hand side corner at 12:41? Is it like an easter egg because there is no damage boost or healing buff to Collete when she picks it up.
Sadly I have officially stopped playing and will not be going back. I remember when we started Brawl and I first watched you. Hope it stays strong, it’s upsetting I don’t love it like I used to. I think the SuperCell side of everything fizzled for too long and they were wrong too many times

I’ve got a question the skins that you bought like the star power skins will you get bling from that to
A power league skin require 5000 bling when it only cost 25000 star points (2500 bling) before the update. However, even for master rank in power league, you only get 4750 bling now. Does that even make sense?! I don’t think an average brawl star player can reach master league each time. Also, the trophy road reset every 2 weeks and only resets for top 20 brawlers. For a brawl pass season, the trophy resets 4 times, for 20 brawlers, you have to win at least 80 matches (excluding playing duels). Before the update, even for 66 brawlers, you only need to win 66 matches for the whole season. All these changes seems not friendly to most players. I hope there will be some modifications.

I think that old players should still get the chroma credits, since even if they did play back then they never got chromatics out of those rewards
They made Shelly more playable in 3v3 because of speed buff, she can be around 25-30 now.
Is there any information about the club shop skins? Will they still cost 2500 club coins? Will they all be available at once, or still only one per week?
I already don't like the thing with skins that have multiple styles bc I like panter max more but I have to waste 79 extra gems for a skin I won't even use

What about skins you didn’t unlock with power league, wil they be in the catalogue or they won’t be available because they weren’t unlocked
The deal with the mecha skins is kinda sad. Light Mecha Bo and Night Mecha Crow are good for players who cant afford the 300 gem skin, and The gold mecha skins are supposed to be like the biggest flex, since you cant get them with gems; you actually have to play the game for a long time to earn enough star points to buy them. I have both of the gold mecha skins, and I kinda feel sad knowing they aren't as special now. Also, the normal mecha skins look much cooler than the 10000 star point skins, so why would you play those skins if you can play the mecha skins.
Kairos im woirreid about my startpoints so i spend on like idk like el tatmo and i have lower starpoints and the lower starpoints will i get the lower bling?
Now that costs are reduced for chromatics in 2nd month + addition of blings, I will definitely buy the pass
I think this is one of the biggest updates , making the game more competitive . Resetting Masters Players back to Mythic 1 will make the game more competitive and Power League will actually become a good mode now

Everything looks really promising and interesting, except for one thing that is really bugging me: I currently have around 229K star points. Even though the cap is at 7K bling, they will still convert to 22.9K. However, since I won't be able to obtain more bling because of this cap, does that mean all my newly acquired bling after the update will be converted to something else? I don't think I will just lose it. Right? BUT, does that mean I'll be forced to buy skins I don't want or like so I don't lose on futur bling that otherwise would be converted? If that's the case then I'm really disappointed. After saving my star points for years, I would have to reluctantly spend it just to not be let out? That's seems really unfair if you ask me.

i bought moon bunny squeak (49 gems) and dark bunny penny (8000 star points) in the day the easter event started, before the update. i wanted moon bunny squeak because he's pretty cheap and he looks like a whole nother brawler. i wanted dark bunny penny because it just looked cool and also because im planning on pushing her to 500 trophies. great video! ❤
the game can you give us the option communicate in game in the next update this be useful in power league and can you add gem quest because this would make it easy to get gems for those who can not pay instead of grinding for the reward should be up to 10-25 Kairos also could you do a brawl star concept brawler competition video and can you mention this in what could brawl star improve video
I have a question: Do you think brawl stars is running out of new brawler ideas, because both new brawlers (especially super) have generally basic effects. The general mechanics are new but besides that there is not much that is new.
