In this Brawl Stars Update Sneak Peek, I'm going to dive into the numbers behind the new Brawl Pass, as well as the Free Pass! We'll talk about Brawl Stars's new progression system, and I'll compare it to the old progression system and specifically tell you whether F2P progression has been buffed or nerfed!

Battlepass is really a good value but SC should think about changing matchmaking Atm playing it's just frustrating: -cannot play solo above 650 trophy because it's full of teamers. -cannot play with randoms because 95% of the time matchmaking put you in team with people that have between 4k to 10k less trophies than you -cannot play with friends or clubmate because you get matched up again teams that have 100+ trophies avarage more than your team (playing with a team good only if you are using a brawler above 800 tr) -"looking for a team" tool doesn't work and i will tell you why, it's because you get matched up against other people that are a team, but you cannot use the chat to strategize the game!). Ah, and the other important change that this game needs is about club purpose. Atm clubs are just an extra 100 players on your friendslist, nothing more. If they don't fix that, every other updates would be just useless

Christian Kvist actually I met Kairos once he’s kinda a jerk great content though.
I'm really happy they added quests, before there wasn't really much incentive to keep playing after you used up your daily tokens (other than trophy pushing), now it feels like we can actually get rewarded for playing extra.
I don’t like that they have limited the amount of Gems you can get is infuriating! And that fact that they don’t give you enough gems to be able to buy the next brawl pass season. They’re forcing you to have to spend another $5 instead of just allowing you to spend the $10 at first then never have to spend money

also for the free legendary drop rate brawler, you essentially get 1000 boxes (for the 0.1% legendary drop rate)

Gem saving times for F2P Since we now get 1 gem per 0.67 day: 1) 30 gem skin = 20 days 2) 80 gem skin = 53.3 days = 1 month 23.3 days > 39 gem sale = 26 days 3) 150 gem skin = 100 days = 3 months 10 days 4) 300 gem skin = 200 days = 6 months 20 days

Actually thats the reason they changes the progression system. Cause maxed out people and able to get unlock and get everything update releases on day 1(except legendry) without spending even a penny. Thus this will allow supercell to generate more money without hurting F2P

Well... They increased the token for the big box from 400 to 500 and now token doublers at the end aren't worth it,since it's 8.35 gems for 1 box (I just calculated 167 tokens for 1 box since a big box=3 regular boxes)

Hi Kairos, great video and thank for all the work doing the maths. But I think that you forgot to consider the tickets that we could get from boxes and use them in RR. It should be considered because the removal of the tickets was a preparation for this update. So now I'm not sure that F2P was buffed.
Something I noticed is that barleys gadget no longer does damage here is a clip 14:02
Theres an easter egg too. When kairos played sandy the sandy in the bed was gone (in the right)
It happens in other environments too. Like if you play frank in mortis mortuary, the DJ frank on the middle left will disappear. Similarly, the snoring Darryl on top of the map in the ship environment disappears, if you play Darryl I think it happens so that some people might not get confused.

Just for those who don't know, they prepare these videos and wait until supercell allows them to upload cuz supercell doesn't want leaks unless they regulate it. If someone does leak then they'll lose the partnership and will be left out of future sneak peeks so they all abide by it and post as soon as they're allowed

ElMuchacho hi kairos, love your videos, and that you take the time to do all the math. But since after this update, we will be getting a lesser number of boxes overall(because most of them will be big or mega boxes), that will slow late-game progression when you are trying to get those star powers and legendary or mythicall brawlers, right? because the probability of drops is the same for all boxes.
Everything is changed in the final update. Free pass now has 15 small boxes, 22 big boxes and 8 mega boxes. Brawl pass has 10 big boxes and 6 mega boxes. After the road is complete, you get a big box for every 500 tokens. I think buying pass is still good but it doesn't double the progress anymore ☹️

I think there is a mistake in the calculation at 9:22... How does the pass add 51 big boxes when the progression road does not show a big box at every checkpoint for the pass? Shouldn't it be +8 instead? If so, would that affect the box equivalent of the pass in any way?

2 SEASONS GIVE YOU 160 GEMS SO IN A YEAR THE 6 SEASONS WILL GIVE YOU 480 GEMS IF YOU HAVE 30 EXTRA GEMS YOU WILL HAVE 510 GEMS WICH WILL GIVE YOU 3 FREE GOLDEN PASS PER YEAR (3/6 PER YEAR)
Yeah, the best case scenario where you have now 90 gems, recieve the 80 guaranteed and buy the pass, will mean that you wouldn't be able to buy the pass for 3 other seasons, since each season gives us 80 gems, there for you'll be able to get about 2-4 out of 6 a year, it depends on the amount of gems you have right now.

No, when you buy a brawler from the shop, the legendary chance does not decrease. Getting him from the brawl pass won't do anything either.
It won't decrease even if you find him in boxes, because technically he is Cromatic not Legendary

@@trojan-david kairos is just liying for supercell because even with token doubler before the update will gives you (*2 gems ) for your amount and that means in season before the update you can get more than 180 gems .. 😡
