I coach an under 8 team - does the app provide drills etc for under 8s?
I’m not sure what’s going on in the UK. But my U7s down here in Australia barely stand still and are off with the fairies half the time. Takes a lot of nurturing to get them to listen and apply themselves like this little superstar in this vid. Half my session is, “Johnny…. Johnny stop eating the grass and get back into line mate… Taj, Taj stop throwing dirt at Myles… oi Myles, no need to cry” …. 😂. Thanks mate, great video.
Positivity, Patience and Repetition, my friend 🙌
This is in Australia!
As a dad of a 7yo just starting in soccer/football in the States, it's definitely far more casual here... whenever I watch european kids soccer videos it makes me feel like it's focused on getting kids into the pro pipeline
I’m in the US and this is what my practices are like lol
Love the positivity
Lee, from one trainer to another, this video is a masterclass!! Truly appreciate you putting this content out there. Young Jacob got so much from this and you can tell he was truly enjoying himself and stayed engaged during every drill. Class mate!!
Thank you mate ! Appreciate the support
Thanks sir
Brilliant stuff
I just volunteered to be the coach for my son's team and I've never played football before so I can't tell you how invaluable this video is. Thank you.
That is awesome to know, Brian! Always happy to help! Message me in the app jonerfootball.app
same over here!!! 😅
Love this. All the challenges around the kids dealing with lots of things to focus on (body shape, control with first touch, getting under the ball, attention span, etc) are so familiar. And then the coach not overloading the kid with too much info, emphasising core concepts (and ignoring less important stuff) - good stuff. I love your more technical stuff but this one really put a smile on my face. You were great with Jake & Jake is a legend.
Thank you brother 🙏🏻
Well now it's like you're reading our minds Coach! 😂 🙏 This is not only a great follow-up/addition to the."training beginners" video you did recently, but it's a source of inspiration for first-time/grassroots coaches! Thank you again for all the content! Best regards from Northeast Texas! ⚽🤙
Bang 😂 thanks for the support ❤
Absolutely!@@JonerFootball
Great positivity and patience with the young lad, will remember these principles with my 6y/o. 👏🏿👌🏿😁
Class. I'm coaching club U10 and personal training... the way you handle the little one is fantastic. This encourages them to grow and love the game.
This is amazing, perfect drills to show my young lad some basics. Top work 👏
Absolutely boss. Thank you for this video. I am thinking to start coaching kids for some time but could not make up my mind. You are such an inspiration. I will go ahead with it. Thank you again.
I had to step up coach my son's U12 team because no one else wanted to. I am loving it! Your videos have been a great asset to me. Thank you!
👏
I've played up to college and have a good insight on football. Started coaching my son's teams for the past two years and trying to expand my knowledge on coaching; this video provided that. New subscriber here!
Well detailed training. Appreciate
Definitely needed to see this. My son is 8 but has only gotten into soccer enough to want to actually practice over the last 2 months. "Not overloading" is definitely something I have to keep reminding myself of. As well as giving him a chance to figure some things out on his own. Great video
🙌
I really purchase what you are showing, I want to thank you for that. Then, I live now in a country as a foreigner although I have citizenship. And work in academy of football, as a coach of kids 5,6,7,8 years old. I work on this correction of technics (shooting, controls, dribble…) but the other coaches already work on the tactics and playing passes one two!! Knowing that in the methodology and the monthly and annual training program in the academy where I work, there are no instructions on teaching passes to children of this age! When I talked with coaches about that, they answered me that there are different trainers with different philosophies 😂😂😂!!! I just wanted to share this story with you 😅. Until now, many coaches do not understand that these slices of ages need Moral and psychological support, but Do not rush and consider them as teenage people who understand everything and are able to implement everything you expect from them. Sometimes I wanted to quit, just quit. But when I talk with other friends which in live in other countries, they told me the same. Thank you so much and I will follow you 👍
Good job coach Thanks for the drills
Very important to notice that not all 6 years old kid will enjoy or perform as well as Jacob. Most kids this age will only want to play fun games Valuable content, but it's not for most kids
Thanks for the video! What size ball is recommended when training a 5yr - 6yr old?
Awesome video. I think it’s really important when people are learning anything to try to learn the basics the correct way otherwise it’s years to recorrect mistakes. Good point to reiterate that it all should be fun.
I has been watching so many football tutorials for kid and this is the best one. I love the video and will reference to this video to teach my son. Thanks.
Awesome! Thank you! 🤩
I have just started a team for my 6yr old son Alfie. These videos will help me a lot. Have our 1st friendly tonight so fingers crossed. Repetitiveness and patience is key as you've said due to their age
Watched a couple of times. Did this with my U9 time, best practice we had this year! THANK U
🙌
Great video, so helpful 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Great coaching, he improved so fast.
🤍⚽️
great video. Im getting ready to coach 5 year olds and this helped incredibly much
Yes Yes Yes!!!! this is exactly what youtube needs for my boys even tho they are 8 and 10, building the basics from the ground up!!!
More like this coming your way
Awesome video. Is your training program suitable for kids too ? And are there any goalkeeper drills included ?Have a 7yr old boy who's addicted to playing soccer. Thanks in advance.
Tnx Man💪
This is good stuff for kids that can focus. Not sure if this would work for 4-5 yr olds. Nice stuff mate.
Amazing video, just what I needed right now for my 6 yr old.
Glad it was helpful!😍
Great coaching drills
You're small details are amazing
Thank you very much!
Love it ❤
Where did you get the equipment?
Дякую за відео, гарні вправи, нам теж 6 років займємось футболом з 4 років, в мережі нажаль мало інформації для розвитку такого віку.
Unbelievable video and thank you for the knowledge. But you sound so much like Jamie Tartt, it’s crazy lol
Love this, But y'all are built different over there I guess. I got six year old's that can barely run straight much less with a ball. haha lord help'em. Slow and steady development on the other side of the pond. Cheers.
Mulțumim!
I like this practices ❤
thank you
I like your trening skill👍👍
If there always was 1 coach at 1 kid coaching would be easy 😊
How can I Join the academy
sehr gut
🙏🏻⚽️

U can really become the football version of gothamchess, THE JonerFootball
This kid has has plenty of training which makes it easier to teach him. Nonetheless good tips
this kid is NOT a beginner. I've coached 6 year olds.
Any 6 year old is a beginner mate 😂 they are 6
Yeah I agree with Joner
Cmon a 6yr old...looks like maybe 8 or 10 year old I swear
Visit Africa because I wish you would appreciate it
In China coaches just yell and have no patience
Am I being a bit thick? I can't find the link to the app... :)

EL MEJOR ENTRENAMIENTO PARA UN CHICO DE 6 AÑOS ES JUGAR! JUGAR! Y JUGAR!
JUGAR! JUGAR! Y JUGAR! ❤️
This is for beginners?
Yeah!
If you are a parent of a 6 years old. Invite 3 more friends and give them a ball. He will learn way more from there and also have more fun. 6 years old!!! Do not fall for activities that people explain and you understand. The game is more complicated than that.
I agree!! Through the playful, kids learn better and fast!
