It also always comes down to your technique as well. No point of doing these work outs if you don't know the techniques of your hitting. But yeah this will help a lot with you being able to bounce.
Muscle training is only really needed for jumping and decent body tension. What gives the ball speed is your arm swing technique.

Tbh, some exercises doesn't make sense (in the resistance and biomechanics view), it's better if you use a band, for example. Like in 00:37 or 01:15, but of course you're working some muscles, just not the main "target" muscles.
