  • Easy to see from his Mom’s responses that there is a history of trauma in the family. She continued the same psychological abuse that she experienced, believing she was preparing him for the world (that she lived). It’s awesome to see how he is working to end it by giving the love that he desperately wanted to his own kids. Salute.

My parents put 2&2 together and realized how bad it was at home for him and made sure he had a spot at our place. He’s still my best friend and an amazing father like bud is. Don’t get how parents can do that to their kids.

  • Speaking as a parent of two myself, what Bud's mom was doing was straight up abuse. Bud and trainers made him great IN SPITE OF the mum. Not exactly levelling blame at her she obviously appears as someone who never got shown affection herself. What I am grateful for though is how Bud made the decision that parental abuse and neglect ends with his parents. He broke the cycle and he is doing the best he can without experience.

The great thing is that it didn't stop Terence from showing us all what he was meant to be. His Mom had to have done some things right though, or the story would not have unfolded like this. Terence has so far managed his inner anger constructively, some of which I'm sure must be due to his father. But now he's a father doing the right thing.

  • My mom never told me she loved until I was older too. I’m glad she learned from us . I’m so happy she treated my youngest brother different and told him she loved him everyday. I knew my mom loved me but trauma from her child hood growing up in a 3rd country was deep caused a lot of scars it took time for her to come in to terms . I see the difference in the way my youngest brother is raised . When kids are shown love and allowed to be kids they flourish in life !

  • This is a sad as video, he's literally saying his mom wasn't there for him emotional and it pushed him to be the person he is. Lesser people would not have been able to make something of themselves with that type of treatment. Jist another ratchet mom underserving of her child. She better be thankful he allowed her to share in his life.
