his laugh is annoying though lol
OMG , how lucky is his wife having this kind of wonderful man. He laughs more than talking. God bless you Dr. Pal!
Dr.Pal is great guy no doubt, but seriously how long will you take an external appearance and think a person is exactly that. You do this to celebrities and elect them into positions of power. Grow up, get mature, understand people are very complex and one thing doesn’t say anything.
If he is do jolly after marriage then kudos to his wife who is keeping him happy
Ye bhi too ho sakta hai ki vo apni ke aage etna हँसता hi na ho

He looks silly the way he laughs at his own jokes every minute
He's not only a great doctor, but has an amazing sense of humour! 😃
Good bacteria: 1. good sleep 7 hours 2. 60' of physical activity 3. high fermented foods daily 4. high fiber 5. avoid antibiotics 5. avoid processed food

he doesn't know shit
Apart from Dr PAL’s immense knowledge and humour I really appreciate the way interview had been conducted. Host touched most of the common issues and topics, that made this podcast a success. Thanks to the team.

00:01 Gut health is crucial to overall well-being 02:22 Dr. Pal's personal journey of prioritizing his own health 06:36 Doctors are not taught about nutrition in medical school. 08:43 Eating a balanced diet is important for gut health. 13:15 Intermittent fasting following circadian rhythm improves health markers without weight gain. 15:37 Implementing ancestral diet and eating habits can be beneficial for gut health. 19:49 Having good gut health means having the right amount of gut bacteria. 21:57 Good gut bacteria is important for smooth and healthy digestion. 25:59 Eating bajia (a type of food) can lead to cravings due to the dopamine hormone released by gut bacteria. 28:03 Unhealthy eating creates a negative spiral, leading to cravings and hunger. 32:01 A good detox should be simple, sustainable, and enjoyable. 34:04 Respecting your body is important for a healthy life 37:45 Stay away from processed and ultra processed foods to avoid toxins. 39:52 Gluten intolerance is becoming more common in India, particularly among the Punjabi community. 44:01 To maintain a healthy gut bacteria, prioritize good sleep, regular physical activity, eating fermented foods, and consuming high fiber. Avoid antibiotics and unprocessed food. 46:13 The video highlights two key issues with gut bacteria and digestive issues. 50:14 Treating sugar, salt, and fat as bad may not be accurate; it depends on moderation and perspective. 52:15 Packaged snacks with added sugars are not healthy for gut bacteria 56:37 The main discrepancy in our diet is the high amount of carbs and fats compared to protein. 58:42 The video discusses the presence of palm oil in packaged food and the high calorie content. 1:02:59 Added sugars in drinks should be avoided. 1:05:05 Valencia oranges are not the company's brand name, but a type of orange available in the US. 1:09:01 Respect your circadian rhythm and start the day early with sunlight 1:11:08 Getting sunlight in the morning has scientific evidence behind it and helps wake up your active cortisol hormone. 1:14:47 Appreciate the small things in life 1:16:52 Sleep quality and gut bacteria play a crucial role in weight loss 1:21:00 The importance of limiting snacking and promoting meals 1:22:52 Alcohol disturbs circadian rhythm and affects hormonal balance 1:26:53 Dr. Pal's goal is to reach 30% of his business to be lost by 2030.

It's been more than a month where the first thing I do after I wake up is look at the sun and not phone. And 3 weeks since I started eating dinner before 7pm. And body feels so much better after this. I no more have any cravings and mentally doing better. Thanks to Dr .Pal for inspiring me. His fun way of making content makes anyone follow the same..
Just curious to know,If you have dinner before 7 pm, don't you feel hungry by 9 or 10 pm?

Dr. Pal is a real Doctor who gives education mixed with a lot of fun. I smile with full laughter when he cracks a joke that is bounce.
You are such a loving, knowledgeable and a competent doctor that I had to cancel a conference talk where I was the keynote speaker just to listen to you. Every word you speak transmits not only your depth of wisdom but also your love for humanity. I pray to God for your long life and a healthy humanity. Deep Love, Gratitude and Blessings to you and the beautiful team of this series.

A very calm, composed interview, Yet fun filled and informative. Dr. Pal rocks. His clear explanation and sense of humour🔥
I absolutely love listening to a person that is clearly taking care of their health. So many doctors have a weight issue.
I had severe gut issues to a point where I was thinking my intestines and stomach is injured which was not true. When my anxiety/stress got better, I am amazed how my gut is back to normal. I can't imagine how happy I am. Edit: Since people are asking how I fixed my anxiety: Well, I didn't have any idea my gut issues are due to anxiety. I realized when I came across Shan Kosaam's KZhead video where he explains his anxiety journey. After watching few videos of him, I realized I have to focus on treating my anxiety not my gut issues. Upon treating anxiety, my gut (and other issues e.g. no appetite etc) issues got normal itself. I would highly recommend to watch him.
How to fix please tell
Yeah share pls
@@akshitbansal6309 Sure. Well, I didn't have any idea my gut issues are due to anxiety. I realized this when I came across Shan Kosaam's KZhead video where he explains his anxiety journey. After watching few videos of him, I realized I have to focus on treating my anxiety not my gut issues. Upon treating anxiety, my gut (and other issues e.g. no appetite etc) issues got normal itself. Same here. I suffered from all sorts of gut issues (loss of appetite , gas , bloating , loose stools etc.) when I was very anxious. After I got control over my anxiety , the issues resolved a lot on their own
@@akshitbansal6309Please note that this is my personal opinion and not professional medical advice. 1) Go visit a Gastroenterologist and make sure that you don't actually have an underlying medical problem. 2) Certain emotions (such as anxiety, stress, fear etc. ) will negatively affect your gut microbiome and can even cause issues like gastritis or IBS . If you suffer from chronic stress (like me) , you need to gain control over your stress. Here are some tips for that : ✅ Journal everyday. Write down your emotions when you journal ✅ Exercise . Move your body. Do both cardio and resistance training ✅ Sleep well and consistently. Avoid stimulants (redbull, coffee etc. ) around 5 - 6 hrs before bedtime. You can also listen to relaxing audiobooks before bed. You can find these free on YT ✅ You can try mindfulness practices like meditation. These may help. ✅ Always plan ahead. For both personal and professional life. Make schedules and time tables to effectively tackle deadlines. ✅ Seek emotional support from close ones ✅ Don't be hesitant to get professional help if needed. Psychiatrists and psychologists can help further with anxiety management 3) Once the underlying cause (stress) has been addressed, the gut will slowly heal on its own. Remember to : ✅ Eat a well balanced and nutritious whole food diet and hydrate adequately ✅ Avoid overly processed foods, especially sugary things. ✅ Incorporate prebiotic and probiotic foods. According to research, low sugar fermented foods (such as plain yogurt) is extremely beneficial to gut microbes. Be sure to remain patient throughout the process. It may takes months for your gut to return to its original health
You are my son’s age . I am following each and every step you give us . Finest human being . Blessings from all of us to you and entire family . Without their support you cannot have achieved this far . ❤
❤nice comment.
Oh,I love the way he laughs. Literally, the whole episode made me laugh so loud that I almost forgot I had a bad day. Such an amazing guy.
The word moderation should be changed to modern ration
hardly a few seconds into the video, and I was hooked already. the very first words he uttered, made sense to me given the fact that I've been a gut patient for over 2 decades now.
As a public health professional it gives me so much joy that all of Dr Pal's teachings are a result of culmination of his clinician and research abilities.
What a person he is........ A great doctor, educator, comedian, and person...... Great talk.....
Dr. Pal is an asset to his profession and an ambassador to this noble calling for his selfless interest in educating the public. Thanks Traya for this very informative interview with him. A humble suggestion to keep "pauper" the original word of the adage, instead of "beggar" which takes away from the true meaning of this saying attributed to Adele Davis, an American nutritionist 1904 - 1974. ❤💫👏👏
Having Dr. Pal in yr channel, i subcribed yr channel, thank you so much. He is one of the greatest doctors, i hv seen in my life, as he stays in usa, we dont hv the luck to avail his service, no matter, thru his videos, we are lucky enough. God bless him.
Dr Pal should be honored for creating such awareness. Are we gifting diabetes to our children who will be adults in next 20+ yrs?We are in a generation where Dr Pal has to put so much effort to tell us to stop eating after 6. This is how we have been 40-50yrs back ,more connected with nature.
Such an insightful 75 mins, having a good health is underrated in todays times. Thanks Traya for putting this.

I have been following Dr Pal's suggestions in diet. In the last year post pandemic I have been able to reduce 11 Kg of weight by focusing on my diet. It was great entertainment listening to you guys. 🎉
Can you please share the diet
Yes certainly eat organic veggies and fruits - I mean balanced nutritious diet required according to your bmr. Drink enogh water. Measure your weight on daily basis record and track them. Get your health check up done before you start to understand your need. Excerise/walk/burn calories based on your body needs. Understanding your body helps greatly. Consult and take help for a specialit. Good luck 👍
He’s such an amazing human being. Wanting to create awareness among people. Wish we have more doctors like him in the hospitals that we visit… im trying to implement eating healthy but my only concern is I work night shifts. I start working only at 7.30 pm. Please help me when should I be eating
Eat ur dinner by 6:30pm and then go for work and dinner
Love this chat, both hostess & guest really nailed it. Other interviewers can take a cue or two from the hostess. Just ask the question, give time for answer, no interruption, then feedback. All boxes ticked. And Dr. Pal, such a delight, humorous & brief but clear answers. 🙏
First ever in my life I have listened to a doctor for that long and had fun while getting educated on a very serious and important topic. He has a very pleasant personality with a addictive laugh... 😀😀 Good session
