  • Good engine recovery, only one board does not need as much silicone for joints, too much enters the engine and ends up damaging it.

  • When installing bearings only apply pressure to the outer race, never the inner. Same is true if you are removing bearings that you intend to reuse. Pressing them in or out by applying pressure to the inner race is a sure fire recipe for damage. With all the work you did, I would have replaced the mains on the crankshaft too.

  • Installing bearings by hitting the inner races? Surely that's the way to manage the bearings? Also, you should soak your clutch plates in oil so they aren't started dry

  • NO WAY! I own the American market version of this bike, the NX250. Rare bikes over here. Got it second hand and needed a lot of love to be roadworthy. Been a subscriber for a year or so and I’m glad to see it making an appearance here. What is the parts availability for where you live? Around here it’s a mess trying to replace anything.

  • Why don't you soak your clutch fiber plates in oil before you install saves them from dry start up and they swell up more when they soak in engine oil...
