The brush strokes from the rusty/mud concoction is just priceless! Its "rusted" everywhere except for the hard to reach places haha.
The fresh oil seepage on the PTO seal and (i think) shiny three point linkage pins indicate that this tractor was probably used the previous day and very likely driven to the location that they "found" it. Doesn't appear to have been anything much wrong with it, the fact that they totally disassembled out without ever actually determining if anything needed fixing is another tell.
i was looking for something out of place, but the dead giveaway was the very clean, almost pristine condition that the gear box was in, also without any grease in it either.

I've never seen anything like this !! I'm almost 72 yrs old and I just can't understand how he is moving so fast and precise. How did he do all of that in less than an hour and a half? It takes me longer than that to change my oil in my car. Just imagine what he can accomplish in a 8 hr workday. Absolutely amazing !!

@Restore and Repair, Thank u for this beautiful video, it brings back memories on when I did this to my grandfathers tractor!! I took his beloved Internation tractor which was made from the 50's n told him that he is not allowed in the barn, he definitely demanded to know what was going on n his barn!! I had to find parts online n travel to a different state to get 2 back wheels n it cost me alot n even go to a tractor barnyard of old beat up farm tractors to find scraps of old parts n some where in good condition n sum where not!! I even went to the same company that makes these tractors n told them what I was going to do n they gave me the right parts that I needed for free!! My grandpa heard all this noise of banging n hearing me scream because I smashed my fingers n hand with the drill hammer & that was no fun!! It took me 1 year & 4 months to completely finished the job, when it was all done and repainted to its original color and revealed it on the day on the same month that I took it from him!! He cried when he saw his beloved tractor & I heard him say that his beloved tractor looked brand new when he bought it in the 50's!! All of his friends told him to climb on & start it up, when he first heard it after so many years and he took it to his farm field and we could here him crying while plowing the field and I made his dream come true and said that he was going to fix it one day.. Sadly he just passed away n I'm truly happy to let him see his tractor before he passed, the tractor is now at the company that makes these n farmers will get to see the tractor my grandpa loved so much!! Love ur videos and apologize for texting to much, but I had to tell the story and hope ur subscribers n viewers loved this story and watching ur videos that u show!! Thank you!!
Just wanted to say Thank u, it alot of aching backs n legs and arms on fixing that tractor, no one was allowed to sit or start it up and now it's on display in Lancaster, Pa. Where the company is n once in awhile I will go down there with my grandma and my mom n just admirer the photos and looking at the restoration & its original color!! I saw afew people looking at it n saying how beautiful it looks, my grandpa would be very proud that people are admiring his tractor he loved so much!! The company that makes these tractors will keep it there, they too love to see one of so many tractors they make n they told me that if I ever need parts, they will be happy to give it to me for free!! There will be farm tractors at a convention center, where the visitors can buy any type of brands of tractors and have been too several of them and can't wait to see people look at my grandparents farm 🚜 I think I scored afew points from up above, my grandpa n his friends are probably looking down n hopefully saying ( Job well done!!) 🚜

In 1986 I got to tour the Shibaura factory in Matsumoto Japan and they were making there own branded tractors on one assembly line and right next to it was a Ford assembly line. It was a very impressive factory.
change the back tires the are 180 degrees now , and replace a new oil filter and he is perfect !!! good job.!!

Yes, those brake shoe linings were asbestos. I used to do that very same thing. That’s how I know. Good job. Great video. I would have liked to see him put a new rear main seal in that engine, though.

Уменее одного человека в условиях не произволства - создать производство восстановления техники ранее работавшей исправно - труд почетен. Очень приятно знать то, что есть люди умные и руки рабочие и более того - мысль инженера и организатора. Рассчитать весь процесс ремонта - сложно. Разтбрать . Отремонтировать.Установить в полной последовательности все детали - талант. Основываясь на своем опыте цикл всего производства основывал иным способом - как учили на производстве при передаче опыта. Много учили и рядом с городом где родился и вырос -Керчь. Сел несколько было при Советском Союзе рядом с городом. Помогали колхозным трактоиистам мальчишками и учились. Все было под запись. Описание всех узлов - первое. Второе- весь цикл разборки. Третье - снятие всех деталей описание и выкладывание последоаательно чтобы не забыть. Здесь не увидел установаи прокладок, покраски грунтом и многое иное. И еще - здесь должно работать не менее двух человек - желательно четыре Один человек имеет свойство ошибаться. Тот кто ведет сьемку - ответственен за это видео. Восхищен талантом мастера. Дай Бог Вам счастья и хорошей семьи.х

I seen that to he used old part's I seen bearings that you can see the copper that's not good the bearings was WOR out. I would have put all new bearings on the rods an crank and new rings all new gaskets an seal's. I would have did a valve job I don't no if he did it off cam But other then that he did a great job cleaning it all an putting it all back together you did a good job painting it but you should have on a painting mask . by the way the tire's on the back are on backwards

I considered in the entire video, only two mistakes (In my opinion.), the first was not having changed connecting rod bearings (Because they were already yellowed showing wear.); the second was also not having changed the cooling hoses. The rest I thought was perfect.
How about the thread direction of the rear wheels?
