My favourite part of the car crash is that Penguin doesn't cause it because he's 'evil' he does it because he was terrified. He thought that was his only option to get away.
He even screams out loud 'get outta the way!' - very interesting, he just wanted to escape without causing any harm.
The Batman is arguably just as responsible for those collisions because he gave chase in that manner.
@@joesalad69 I don't think that Penguin cares about not hurting anyone. Given the fact that he's an unhinged drug dealer and murderer. He was yelling get outta the way simply because he wanted to drive faster.
why would someone just be "evil" to cause car crashes? you expect this behavior from an 18+ rated movie?
@@stanislavkorolev1803 I except it from films that want to make the antagonists as pointlessly cruel as possible. Rating's are irrelevant.
That engine roar in theaters was really something else
It was like a damn Godzilla
batman doesn't drive a muscle car...
@@JusticeSociety26 Did Batman say that to you? 😂
@@JusticeSociety26so you want him to drive what?
That’s what made The Batman excel - the crisp sound design. When you hear the Batmobile roar, slam into Penguin’s car, boost, or the cars crashing YOU FEEL IT
The fact that this film didn’t get an Oscar nom for cinematography or score is a travesty…
And yet completely unsurprising. At least to me. The Oscar’s always looks past these films simply because they’re superhero movies. “Not real cinema” right? 🙄
En el guión tiene agujeros de guión del nivel de Dark Knight Rises y Batman Returns Pero en estética visual the batman se merecía un Óscar
Greig Fraser's cinematography was nice, but too dark and textured for its own good
@@Philosophical24 Facts. It’s such a lazy cop out, too. As if they haven’t learned anything from films like The Dark Knight, Logan, etc.
The movie deserved a dustbin not oscar....
It wouldn't be a Batman movie if there isn't any property damage.
That's just the rule for any action movie.
dw, he can pay for it, he has the bat card, never leaves the cave without it
Every superhero movie
Yeah Batman should have complained penguins mom
@@KenjiAsakura09 How does one pay for likely casualties?
I like how this bat mobile isn't a tank or some crazy supercar, it's literally just a muscle car with a jet turbine on it. This makes it a lot more realistic as well as also concealing it while he's driving around Gotham. Also that startup scene of the bat mobile is one of the best things I have ever witnessed.
It's a rear mounted engine with forced induction. I see no "jet turbine."
@@ragingmcqueen Bro I was just saying how cool and powerful the engine looked, kind of like it felt like a jet turbine cause of how powerful it seems. My bad with the wording i guess😂
Plus this is the only batman movie that has a dramatic reveal of the batmobile n its perfect.
He just smash through a concrete cylinder lmaoo but the car is cool
Don't think I know of any Muscle Cars that can bust through concrete cylinders and keep driving…
since batman begins, the batmobile/vehicle chase is one of the things we look forward to in a batman movie, and they NEVER disappoint. they always bring sth new to the table
I think I speak for all of the DECENT film viewers in the comments who just DID NOT WATCH this garbage of a movie. A big THANK YOU to the reviewers who made me reconsider, and if you need movies that look and feel like InStar adds - then why not just watch the adds?

Finally, a car chase in traffic!

@@Joecbg100 whale
This version of Batman was canonically a street racer and he had been working on the Batmobile since he was 16
This batmobile and the tumbler are my favorites, mainly because of the sound! Just hearing them both roar like a lion is magical
The tumbler is trash gtfoh
"License and registration, please."
Dude the seats i was in when that engine was roaring was so damn intense im glad i saw this in theaters on release day
saw it in imax at the early fan event, best imax experince ever
I love how heavy Batman's boots sound. Especially in the rain.
It was a crime that the cinematography did not get a nomination.
Exactly!! And how did The Batman didn't win for best makeup?? Nothing against Brandon Fraziers The Whale but we can all tell that's just him in a fat suit. Nobody can recognize Colin Farrell in this movie.
@@peruvianheat2053 the academy is snobby.
@@peruvianheat2053 it's because they think superhero and every pop culture movies aren't cinema
How in the world Fraser didn’t get the OSCAR for Cinematography, it was just clear just as VFX for Avatar 2. The led walls were perfectly used, balance between silhouette and dark forms. It was a masterclass in cinematography, completely snobbed for some random films.
Unfortunately, he had already won it the previous year for "Dune", which is nowhere near as impressive as "The Batman" in cinematography terms if you ask me, but it's very rare for someone to win the Oscar two years in a row. "Dune" is polished but by-the-book for a modern high budget movie (it just doesn't look like a Marvel movie), "The Batman" takes full advantage of modern technology (Alexa LF, Sony Venice, LED fixtures, DNA lenses etc.) to create something that wouldn't have been possible a few years ago. I don't think most people fully realize what marvel this movie is from a photographic standpoint: it was very impressive to watch it in theaters and see Batman being separated from the background by a tiny amount of grey. Film cannot do that (not enough shadow detail). The old Arri Alexa couldn't do it either.
I agree, the entire film I was thinking that the cinematography was incredible.
Don't worry. He's going to sweep through the Oscars with Dune 2
Seeing this in IMAX was something that I can't describe. The sound was in my chest. Absolutely unreal.
All this effort and damage just to talk to the penguin
And then they set him free 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
This is the Batman film we've all imagined and dreamt of. No superpowers, no cringy over the top Marvel CGI. Just BATMAN.
So the last Batman had Marvel CGI huh?
I never dreamed of emo Batman
Nolan's Batman: am I a joke to you?
@@HiBlock1 Nolan's Batman is out the picture. That is better than what we could ever imagine or dream of.
That engine growl is soul catching🏎️😌 and menacing to villains😤 and that walk is just epic🤯
This is honestly the only Matt reeves film I can think of where I actually feel convinced that there was a giant explosion.
This is my new favorite Batmobile.
Crazy about the highway chase, Batman walk with the theme song, and Batman caught the penguin, this scene was awesome in my opinion
Bet nobody peeped the speed gauge of 250mph....for the first car.....
I love how much of this is shot from the penguins point of view. From the viewpoint of the criminal Batman is essentially a slasher monster. Unstoppable.
This is an awesome film. Loved Ben Affleck's Batman but Robert Pattinson I think captures the role of the character alot better. Not to mention Pattinson has an awesome Batman voice, probably the best live action Batman voice out of all the live action films.
Pattinson had a good voice but Afflecks Batman is a better Batman. He was unlucky to be in below average Batman movies. You wouldn't look at Pattinson the same had he been in those disasters
@@casualxxgamerxx9662 that's true.
This is Single hardly a Peak Film making Scene
3:20 that was crazy how he turned the engine off.
I hope we’ll see Farrell as Penguin in future movies of this franchise
A spinoff show about him is coming.
Thank the lord flashbackfm is back with the clips
He doesn't have an enormously powerful vehicle, but Colin Farrell's Oz here is a superb driver as well. Just a thought.
What would happen if Robert Pattinson as Batman was doing the same thing with Danny Devito as the Penguin?
I would be fantastic, ahahahaha
you certainly would be@@demetriomattiarusso3049
BATMAN BEGINS: FURY ROAD
One of the BEST action sequences ever in history of cinema! The action, the sound, the score and the execution! Immaculate.
This is a masterpiece
Dr.Eggman(To the Shadow):"3:38"
What I love about this scene is that it's not just an action scene, it's a narrative piece in and of itself. Batman shrowds himself in an aura of mistery. He purposefully and systematically intimidates penguin, and this slowly takes a toll in the antagonist's mind. He gradually realizes that batman is crazier than him, the stress turning him into a scared child. It isn't untill the very end of the scene when penguin, for a moment, believes it. "Dear god, he is a monster. Help."
Matt Reeves should bring Michael Seresin for the sequel They worked together in Planet of the Apes, and his style would be perfect for a Batman movie
When the Batmobile flew through the fire and flames, and the score to such a wonderful shot, you get a sense of seeing Batman from a criminal’s point of view. That shot sells it so well to fear batman so much
THIS IS MY FAVORITE BATMAN I stood behind Pattinson getting this role and he didn’t disappoint!!!
All I'm saying bro is that this Batmobile is... Literally built different
0:33 That's my favorite part.
Master piece

You know I just realized NONE of his airbags went off lol, that roll should have tripped them all
First official Batman life lesson: Life doesn't give you airbags!
What a movie!!! Finally a high quality DC Film. We didn’t have one since the Dark Knight Rises - MoS days that Nolan was involved.
5 Batmobil Videos from Flashback FM. Cool.
Penguins driving accurately depicts modern day driving of self entitled road rage luxury car drivers of Pennsylvania
Not bad at all. How about some Supergirl (1984) clips from the director's cut of the film?
Wonder why the air bags didn't deploy in the Penguin's car. Still an awesome chase..
Hot Take: This is the best batman movie of all time. Most people would say The Dark Knight is better but what i think is The Batman is a better BATMAN movie than TDK. This is by far the best portrayal of the character in live action.
Facts 100% agree
Una escena no puede ganar un Oscar: La escena
Muy buen batimobil, excelente escena, aunque siempre me parecio que si le bajaran unos centímetros a la carroceria se veria mucho mejor.
This entire scene in 4DX was the BEST car scene ive ever felt in any movie.
The latest feature on the Batmobile - the speedometer.
epic. most car chase scenes in movies are boring, but this one boy
GOD BATMAN WALKING TOWARDS WITH FIRE IN THE BACKGROUND IS SCARY AND BADASS BUT WHEN HE TILTS HIS HEAD TO LOOK AT YOU IS 🤣
4:33 he walking like a cowboy and like he the sheriff around here .
Well im never buying a Maserati, not a single airbag deployed in that crash.
I Freakin love the Batmobile it is Super cool
if the car could TALK then this is what i hear: "I'm coming for you."
millions of dollars in property damage.. lol... Batman don't give AF!!
This movie was so damn slow, it was hard to stay awake. It didn’t need to be 3 hrs. But I won’t lie, this was the best scene out of the entire film
Batman borrowed the sound of his boots from Old Man Marley from Home Alone.
There is no stopping Batman
Awesome scene. But i think they could have skipped the part where he kneels down in the end.
Crazy how so many people only watched this clip to spread hate on the movie. Pretty sad.
I promise you nobody who is hating even started the video

The Batman 2022 Penguin vs. Batmobile 🥊🥊🥊🥊
The Batman, hands down, the most beautiful looking comic book and a true Detective Comic movie. This Car chase sequence, cinematography, Michael Giacchino's score and everything else is just awesome.
The fact that The Batman wasn't nominated for best cinematography in the Oscars is a big joke.
@@peruvianheat2053 true
If I directed this, I would’ve had Bats open the car door, looking down menacingly. Just silent staring and rage like “you really put me through that shit!?”
To bad the sound is low 😥
MASTERPİECE
Eu fico arrepiado toda vez que vejo esse filme 🔥
4:50 You got any games on your phone
batman would be more snister with his lower face covered.
I don't know what it is about this car chase that doesn't do it for me.
What's the name Penguin's car?
They only problem with this screen is both Batman and Gordon let penguin go after this. This man literally killed all the those truck drivers and he not taken to jail.
The entire GCPD, besides Gordon, was corrupt at the time. And with Penguin having as much influence as he does, it wouldn't have taken him long to get out.
not only caused great chaos. Another reason why it is idiotic is that the penguin has a lot of information in his head about the Gotham mafias, and if he is questioned well, he will start to tell everything that would kill a large part of the mafias. And yes, the police department is corrupt and all, but they could take the Penguin to some hidden place that only Batman and Gordon know about, to interrogate him there. But no, they set him free 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
@Deathtrooper 2200 They didn't set him free. After the crash, Gordan and Batman took him to an undisclosed location and interrogated him. Afterward, they left him tied up there. Also, considering how the mafia treats snitches, I doubt he'd give any information.
did you even watch the movie?
I dont think this scene needed music. I'd love to see it with no soundtrack just to see.
I really enjoy the movie But i loved this part of the movie But idk how the penguin still alive but ok
16:23 Dude, Basil Poledouris died in 2006: is that a strong-enough reason for him not working on the 2014 remake?

Upload the clip of the end reveal in Ms. Marvel next. It's also the perfect time to do so since it's been a year since the finale came out. SPOILER AHEAD... It's the "reveal" (implied, not explicitly stated) that she's a mutant.
It is such a great scene until they show Bruce lowering himself to look at Oswald. You could have just kept the scene where Batman was walking toward Penguin for a few minutes and then cut to Penguin's being pushed against the pillar.
Next Batmobile need high tech dash and weapons that’s all I ask
next can you please put Zack Snyder's Justice League [HDR, 4K, 16:9 Widescreen] please?🥺🥺🥺🙏🙏🙏
Holy shit
Why does he do everything so slow
Всем привет. Жизнь - дерьмо... Смешно он заглянул.
Didn't they just talk to him and ask him about el rata? Lol. I really didn't like the convoluted storyline. Batman didn't really do anything special. The riddler just completed his mission and gave himself up for absolutely no reason afterward.
