Making another plywood basin! I made the double one in the main bathroom just before I started with the youtube channel and always regreted not filming that one, so here we go with another!

  • I wasn't sold on the reused kitchen cabinets at first - they very, VERY much looked like, well, reused kitchen cabinets. But the overall look in the room blending styles was surprisingly nice, and created an extremely fine-looking bathroom, floor to ceiling! Your eye for detail is insane :)

  • I have often looked at a pack of ply on site and seen a bath tub waiting to be dug out. Although the current price of ply would suggest solid marble a cheaper option. Another great video, thank you.

The time, patience and quite honestly, the level of OCD 😅 (or what some may call, "Attention to detail"🤔😏, you put into one basin is just phenomenal. The colour in the basin reminds me of a bowl of chocolate. The baby poo colour on the wall however, is not to my taste. But whatever your Queen wants, your Queen shall get 👸🏻🙇🏻‍♂🤣

  • I really love this sink except from the fact that I personally would have stained the inside a little bit lighter so the layers of the plywood would be more visible. But that´s personal liking as always. In any case it´s another masterpiece of craftmanship you made!

How durable do you think the laquered finish be in the event of a dropped safety razor or similar? Just occurred to me it might not take the punishment that porcelain does.

    • Based on the look around the house, the only way to do that is go back to using an outhouse or ditch the sink. My guess is application of modern building regs would result in mass demolition of that area. Besides, maybe the don't poo over there? :)

  • Amazing sink, looks stunning. Little design flaw with the toilet : too close to the wall. When sitting down, your right leg is hitting the towel warmer, or even if it wasn't here, the wall. I hate when toilets are flush against a wall like that =( No room to spread and do your business in style.

    • I came to the comments just to say that too. Looks amazing, but functionality is poorly thought out. Could've centered the toilet in the space and hade the sink directly above, draining water into the cistern for water saving too.
