When we got to explore the physical and philosophical conflict between two millennia old secret organizations, both fighting for what they believed to be the betterment of mankind? When Assassin’s Creed was about family, legacy, sacrifice, honor, fighting for something more than yourself? It actually pains me to think of what Assassin’s Creed has turned into. I can play what it's becoming in Skyrim, Final Fantasy, Dragon Age, etc and still get a better experience than what the new garbage is now post-Syndicate, possibly post-Origins. I agree, sadly; at least we have this...
And also, you used to climb on objects, dwarfs, cracks and it made some sense what you can catch and hold, and not just randomly climb on smooth surfaces like bare statues and walls :D
the fact that we love and admire a FICTIONAL character more than a lot of real people in our lives astonishes me. the impact this character has had on all of us is unmatched and second to none. REQUIESCAT IN PACE, EZIO!

It’s possible to bring back old AC but Desmond is gone. The only problem with making a new game is they gotta keep with the modern story line so maybe Basim will be our modern day character.

I can never listen to this without feeling some sadness. Not just for Ezio’s tragic life, but for the end of an era, the end of Assassin’s Creed. It hasn’t been the same & it will never be. Ubisoft chose to follow the mainstream instead of staying true.
Ubisoft sold their soul to the trend. Good for them. They made more money, reeled in more fans, etc. So, it is what it is.

I tried listening to an hour version of ezio's family and I had 3 ads in 1 minute completely ruining the immersion while I was trying to fall asleep. Tgis one worked perfectly. No ads and I slept like a log :)

Great memories from my childhood. I loved to free roam around the city, taking out towers and freeing the city. I would spend hours playing and playing and learning more about Ezio Auditore. No stress, no Covid, free during the summer. Good times. That chapter is closed but when i turn my head back, it´s still there, leaving me with a treasure, which will never go away .. JOY !

AC 2 is a complete package. You know a game is perfect when you enjoy it more than the modern installments of the franchise. For me, AC didn't "hit" the same after Desmond's story.

Same. I just didn't gaf after he died. The character, like Altair and Ezio and Connor, had presence. You really felt it lacking in Black Flag. It just wasn't the same anymore.

I used to fall asleep to specific songs from AC:II when I was a kid. You couldn't stream music like you can now. I had to buy the CD, put it onto my computer, and then put that onto my Zune. I still cry when I hear this.

The way they incorporated this music into other games was also amazing. I think the best version is the AC Odyssey one, it sounds the best to me because it's super cinematic, but they all hit with a ton of nostalgia
