  • When you are 14 year old and just got back from school in the pouring rain, your folks are at work and you are home alone and you boot up this game and the soundtrack kicks in combined with that aroma of freshly rained upon soil from outside. • @@skyd1207 It's a good coming of age story and I feel like music portrays that really well. In Florence, at the start of the game, the music is almost mischievous and as the game progresses and Ezio starts embracing his assassin heritage the music turn more dark and mellow. Orr I'm just over analyzing as usual

  • I remember roaming through Venice with my grandma sat next to me about 6 years ago. She used to say how realistic it looked and tell me stories about how she went to Venice and sat in the square and how it was the most expensive coffee she ever had in her life. She passed away in January (not from COVID luckily) and it feels like a part of her is in Venice with me when I play this game. Because of her and this game Venice is the one place in the world I want to go more than anywhere else and I pray I can go there before it sinks and have that same coffee in her memory Edit - Wow guys I am seriously at a loss for words I never in a million years expected so much love and kindness from strangers. I didn’t expect this comment to get noticed at all and as I sit here reading your guys’ comments and similar experiences I can’t help but cry. The AC community truly is one of the best groups of people in the world. The past year was incredibly hard to get used to a new life without my grandma in it but I’ve finally healed and am living my best life to do her proud, about to start my final year at university in September. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart, sorry for the long soppy paragraph but I wanted to address everyone who took the time to sympathise or share a similar memory. You guys are the best of the best Edit 2: I MADE IT GUYS! I have just come back from Venice yesterday and it was the most amazing experience ever! (I didn’t realise how lifelike the game is to the actual place, especially in the square). I could feel my grandma with me the whole time, especially as I walked through the square. It genuinely took my breath away walking into the square for the first time and all I could picture was her sat at this cafe with my grandpa. I highly recommend anyone who is reading this to go if you get the chance! Just don’t eat or drink in the bars in the tourist spots because you will get ripped off! Thanks so much for everyone wishing me to get there, it took over 2 years, but I finally made it!

The soundtrack perfectly placed through the open world actually made us feel peace, anger, love, revenge and the need to fight evil so we could sleep at night and doing it from the shadows whilst we then powered down, went to sleep, woke up went back to work or school etc the next day and then returned back to our Ezio life and continued our fight for freedom. To all you true members of the creed out there, Ezio’s story is and will remain a huge part of us forever ❤️

And the characters and the everything XD But honestly, having different cities and maps you could visit, each with their own vibe and music, was just so awesome and freeing. I loved Brotherhood and Revelations a lot, but there was more adventure in AC2. I remember being in Venice and so many times I'd find myself looking at that little inaccessible area of the city across the water, and just listening to the music, I had this immense desire to see what was over there. And that sense of adventure the game gives you is just amazing. The fact that we get an amazing story and amazing characters along the way just makes it even better.

He recites "This is where it all started, and to see it where it is today... kinda hurts." He lowers his head and begins gesturing with his hands as he continues speaking. "We've been to the USA, to the Caribbean, France, London, Egypt and even Greece but none of it ever felt real." He raises his hand and pulls the hood of his hoodie up over his head, and as the shadows of the hood reach his eyes the hood turns to a cowl, his clothing becomes white Assassin robes, and the scenery around him changes from real-life Venice to in-game Venice. He takes a deep breath, exhales, breathes in again and finishes, "Not like this did." He reaches up again and lowers the hood, changing his surroundings and clothing back to reality. Then he turns, smiles at his friend, says "Come on," and walks away.

  • Its so wonderful that after all these years we come together to remember the good old times in Assassins Creed. When Ubisoft did a wonderful story about a great assassin. When the story wasn't just fun, but went into our hearts. I miss these days. AC II was the reason why I flew italy. I visited every city of the game and I had tears in my eyes. To stand on top of the dome in florence... To see the Castel Sant'Angelo and remembering the difficult climbing to the top in AC Brotherhood. To stand on the bridge (ponte vecchio) and remembering the first fight when Ezio got his scarf. And so many other places. I hope Ubisoft will do a similar touching story one day. I won't give up my hope

A person like myself who has been reserved before marriage as Islam taught me. It teaches to hold very strong intimacy. I got the Ezio collection & it was the only thing I really liked playing after a very long time. This game has made my heart drop wanting it to never end because of the soundtracks & realistic setting. Young Ezio reminds me that I'm still young & fit. Making me feel so alive. I'm still young man & I will find a Beauty in my life one day like Cristina & Ezio.
