Hi Guys,
in this video i am making a high speed electric bicycle. this high speed electric bicycle can go more than 50km/h at full throttle and this high speed electric Bicycle can travel up to 60 km on single full charge, but be careful when riding this high speed bicycle, this high speed Bicycle running with 750W 48V BLDC

  • Love the fact that by installing a free wheel hub at the pedal sprockets, you still can pedal the bike normally if in case you ran out of battery power. Brilliant!!

    • Shimano have had it for years,its vintage stuff at shimano.Look up for shimano Front Freewheel system.

    • This design will have resistance on motor when pedaling like a normal bike. It doesn't have freewheel on the motor.. I've made one very similar out of scrap. But more advanced has a freewheel on motor aswell

    • And it uses the gear shifting. You can get power, and speed. This should help the motor live longer. The motor reduction should try to match rider's pedaling cadence, 80-100 rpm

  • You are clever. . The more important question now is : how does it work on the high streets or mountain roads ? I think at the biggest rear gear it will do well ( high torque with low speed ) ? What do you see ? Thanks

  • Pedal motor transfer is superb. Should have tried on graded road to evaluate pedal assist. Downhill run should recharge battery from reversed motor mode.

  • The way you mount the motor is ok, but mechanically it is not stable. Suggest adding a support to the other frame bar to form a triangle.

  • Hi so after watching this video I decided to a DIY BIKE. I Got a 48V 1000W BLDC motor kit did the freewheel crankset and the bike works fine when on the stand but when I put the tyres on the ground for a text ride the motor can mot turn the and gets stock. Any advise what you think may be wrong or what I may have gotten wrong
